What alternatives are there to wrapping your sidefolding stocks with paracord? Personally I don't much like the look of paracord and was wondering what else people have tried that works better.

Russian laws do require them to do some weird shit for civi compliance, like the stock being folded activates a trigger disconnector. But I’m not sure if the barrel thing has ever been founded

Belt sand the vase down enough so it sits straight and sits tight. Easier if you have the little locking nub. I tried using crush washers and shims I made from beer cans and they didnt work. If you do have the locking nub, you could try a crush washer and slot it so the nubs fits through.

Thanks for the advice. I'll talk to my FFL about grinding down the end of the break.

I live in a communist state so breaks have to be pinned and welded after installation. Basically I cant do it myself/.

I do have the locking tip on the rifle. So I'd grind down the break slightly until it meets just so with the tip.

My only fear is that the torque weight will be too high on it. But I guess if you can hand tighten it into place you should be ok ?

No, but I've used teflon tape in the threads.

how did you manage that? How did it work out?

I just wrapped the FSB threads with a couple layers and my 74 brake no longer wobbled at all and was very stable.
I might be a bad example the more I think about it, because I don't magdump till my barrel smokes. IDK if it'd handle that.
