is this a normal amount of powder residue in the gaskey area? this is my second AR but the first one that has a nickel bolt, so maybe I'm seeing stuff that I just can't see on my other AR bolt, but i'm hoping this isn't a sign that the gas key isn't aligned or something. It slides in just fine with no issues, but I will say the bolt feels a tiny bit looser than in my other AR. It's much easier to rack than my other AR. Not sure maybe I'm just being paranoid though.

looks like he didnt put on his earpro correctly and was overly dramatic, I was in the garage when my uncle had an ND/AD when an out of spec BCG with protruding firing pin slam fired a round, it was loud as fuck, eeeee to the max and couldnt hear shit for about an hour, luckily can still hear well, my ear feels congested 24/7 no doubt suffering damage but I didnt feel dizzy and start throwing up like that guy.

first day on the range after not shooting for 6 months. My PSA rifle had to go back for repairs because they aligned the sight base on the barrel assembly wrong, but they fixed it and I was able to zero it in after 10 rounds. The rifle is fine. When I was shooting well I could do 2MOA with it which is good enough for me. The trigger is dogshit though. By far the worst I've ever seen on a stock AR.
I'll probably change it out. I want somehting smooth, but nothing too light or gucci. Just something that feels like a good stock trigger. I've never had a problem with an AR trigger until now. I usually leave them stock, but this one has to go.

Yeah. It was a royal pain in the ass too. I waited a month and a half after sending it without getting a single update or email about it. They straight up told me that they don't do email updates on the repair or shipping (despite shipping UPS Ground which means they have a tracking number) so I had to keep calling them (and deal with the 30+ minutes customer service wait times) to make sure it wouldn't end up getting delivered to the UPS store without me knowing and getting sent back like the last time I ordered from them (and no I'm not getting it sent to my porch where some jagoff can run off with it)
It was a 450 dollar rifle that does 2MOA on a good day and is fun to shoot so I can't complain too much, but if I had to do it all again I would have saved up more and bought the Windham Weaponry upper assembly. The 200 dollars extra I would have spent would have saved me a fuckton of time and it probably would be a better rifle.
So that's my PSA. PSA will EVENTUALLY give you a decent cheap rifle that you can build on but they will waste your time and waste a lot of it.
