I'm watching T-34 right now, a 2018 Russian war movie. Shit's got a lot of scenes that are webm. worthy but i have no idea how to do that. Anyone seen it?

How accurate are the tank battles? It's got a lot of them, and they all seem pretty arcady. Can someone elaborate on this? I know you autists took Fury apart for the Sherman vs Tiger thing, what about this?

>youtube.com/watch?v=yDf5ARSNOOc

Especially this scene, is something like this even possible?

plz respond

>assburgerd will ignore the subject

why? maybe the movie is not, but the scenes are definitely worth watching if you like tanks and shit. i really want some autism to explain this stuff.

Pretty cool scene. Only people who can say if it was anything like that are east front 1942 veterans.
One thing I’d say is that the t-34 had a crew of 4 and was very cramped inside. It looked like it took 4 hits to knock out 3 crew, and until the last one didn’t suffer any drop in combat effectiveness from lack of crew. Unlikely.
But facing Pz3s at point blank in an urban ambush yeah a T-34 could do pretty good.

>How accurate are the tank battles?

ok. i will bite it. the movie is an action movie. the tanks are very close to historical tanks but the fights which were mentioned in the movie were fought by different crew with different types of the tanks and during different parts of the war. the main fight is around near real fight which was fought by real crew mentioned in the movie. there was no merci or respectful shit from german crews. usually they just executed soviet tank crews at the spot. no knight or noble shit was happened. soviets gave first german soldiers some slack and arrested them. later the shit from soviet side went into pragmatism: execute everyone who shoots at you, arrest survived officers maybe they can give some information. crews were spared only if the regiment was known for respectful behavior toward to soviet population. which was mostly never the case (as far i remember the only who were respected by russians were spanish tank crews)

That's the one with the video game style bullet(shell)-time and xray stuff right? Is there a print out for it yet? I can't find it on the usual places.

>Is there a print out for it yet

what do you mean?

Has it been pirated yet?

>pirateproxy.bet/torrent/30233424/T-34_(2018)_[WEBRip]_[1080p]_English

yup. you gotta find and add subtitles manually tho, but that shouldn't be the problem i guess

Nice. Russian cinema's war patriotism might be pretty over the top, but you gotta give it to them for not fagging up their war films with all the "what are we fighting for?" shit that hollywood has settled into recently.

russian most respecterd finno-soviet war expert gave out his points:

Bair Irincheev about the film "T-34":

-The scene of the beginning of the film - a direct quote from "Fury". Well, just like fist into the forehead.

- Recommendations on the Soviet direction - are welcomeb(by him). But inappropriate, writers still have to work. "I was waiting for you as Stalin" - this is about what ?????? (russian typ of polite what the fuck?)

- The scene in the headquarters - a quote from the "Panfilov movie"

- The initial peaks between the commander and the crew - not needed directly and rude quote from the Rage. For some reason, Major Rosley, the new commander of 245 sp, who arrived at a height of 65.5 on the Red Arrow, in the trenches of the first line, welcomed his soldiers by hand. The relationship between commanders and subordinates was not always like this: “I am the boss, you are a fool” or “I will you whores tell you. who will be in charge now here.”

>Nice. Russian cinema's war patriotism

Must stop you right here..
this movie is literally known as most neutral one since last 30 years.

proceeding from before:

-The battle for the village- is good, some moments were very shot. Thanks to the director. But the German panzer officer Yager already in that battle was stupid, like the man who for the first time in his life played in World of Tanks. (in reality)They hit the tank until it lights up. And the enemy caught a hit once and “The goal is destroyed!”, And then “Unglaublich! Verdammte goal is not destroyed! "

- Sergeant - commander of the rifle squad - thanks for that. As he had said: “I learned a lot in Finnish (war),” I would just fall in front of the writer. So good! thanks!

- The final scene of the battle in the village - very good. The church choir is very, very good. The sun behind the smoke is very good. give thanks. The director is great. - SlowMotion zadolbalo(nervs). And then begins panzerporno, at first gently, and then so hard that I barely watched.

will prooceed

>will proceed
ty ivan

- Concentration camp - I do not believe. Excuse me. Although it is clear that they tried, including casting.
- Cognac with Jager is a clumsy attempt to quote "The Fate of Man." Very clumsy and unsuccessful. I can believe in such a scene between a captive British officer and a German officer. But not between the commander of the Red Army and the SS officer.
- The very name Klaus Jäger would call Fritz Schmidt a stasis, why be shy. Or Karl-Ulrich Muller. Or Mickey Mouse from the SS. If trash, then to the end.
- Soviet tankers at the site immediately bought a premium camouflage for gold and painted their tank as a box from Palekh.(see picture)
- It rushes into the ear of modern jargon in conversations between crew members. Some modern high school students ride on a steep wheelbarrow T-34-85. Surzhik(russian in ukraine slang) and Belarussian placed such wrong ways that you do not understand what is there at all. Bust
- Slow-mo zadolbalo/nervs.
- The translator girl shows the map with a typical American gesture. Are you aiming for an Oscar?
- The Loader is very devote christian. Are you aiming for an Oscar?
- The Germans in good SS form ALL FILM are stupid as reenactors at their first event before they get drunk to the trash.
- They are not only stupid - they are still disappearing somewhere all the time, and the battle is fought exclusively between the T-34 and the Panthers.
- Slow-mo zadolbalo./nervs

Short-barreled PzIIs or PzIIIs were more or less equal to T-34earlyvariantwithshort76mmcannon.Although thinly armored,T-34 had pretty neat slopped armor and if it did not come half-ass welded by some drunk illiterate churka from hastily re-assembled factory in the depths of Siberia, it could deflect those shots in some scenes. But overall, this movie is meant for masses, so it is not historically realistic especially later scenes where German tank aces can`t hit T-34-85 properly and single soviet tank with malnourished crew destroys multiple Panthers. This comes from a vatnik.

Shlomo. when will you fucking get into your brain that there are people in the world, who are not rusians and still can speck their amazing language? wtf? you ok?

Pz2 had a 20mm autocannon. It was dead meat vs t34.

I saw the thumbnail and I thought this thread was about the Terminator wielding a HiPoint.

- Tankers rush towards Czechoslovakia. Did I miss something or there was no issue from Czechoslovakia to the Reich? Was she proud and independent? And not even occupied? Again, I do not know something in the history of the Second World ...

- The gunner watched "Rage" a couple of times and knows the words "eight to eight."

- The commander offers to drown the tank. This is a scene from Viktor Kurochkin's Iron Rain turned inside out.

- After two views between the translator and the tank commander should be sex. At night, on the lake in the woods under the stars. One star should fall. It's unavoidable.

- A night fight in the city - well, it’s not necessary to quote Guy Ritchie and his Sherlock so directly “Need to divert attention”

- Panther crews before the final battle bought premium camouflage for gold. Did not help. It would be better for the crews to pump ...

- The Soviet crew before the final battle urgently revised the "Rage" and learned to shoot high-explosive fragmentation with a ricochet off the ground with a fuse set to slow down.

- Slow-mo nervs.

“Why did they send a very good gunner with a hand grenade?” Everyone knows that the most unimportant in the crew is the loader.

- Then it became clear why. The gunner not only blew five people inside the Panther with one grenade, but then he also remembered the Soviet film Tankists of 1939 and, working for all crew members, arrived at the square and knocked out another Panther, which burned down. Then Yager pushes the gunner to Panther, but she does not catch fire, and the gunner still remains alive! Bl ..... Stanislavsky is trying to jump out of the grave with a cry of "I do not believe!"

- Slow-mo nervs.

- The final scene on the bridge - well, there are simply no words. No need to directly copy the Terminator and other Hollywood films about the duel of the two main characters in the final. Already nauseous. Are you aiming for an Oscar?

- Slow-mo nervs.

ok, ty shlomo. i actually tried to learn it myself, but i resorted to just soak up some words every now and then when taking a shit. but i learned kyrillic, and pretty quick. looked tough af at first glance, but it's much quicker to adapt than i thought. and it's a good feeling to suddenly be able to read communist. thx for your translations.

Jacksons BBQ has the best collards in the world, fight me!

Having watched it now:

>First battle scene is pretty good, if a bit corny at the end with the tank commanders shooting it out.
>Prison camp stuff is full retard even for a dumb action movie.
>Escape is even dumber.
>Everything after the escape is boring and the final battle is extremely weak compared to the first one.

Massive waste of potential. Why the actual fuck would you even consider doing the prison camp plot twist?

>“I will you whores tell you. who will be in charge now here.”

>Why the actual fuck would you even consider doing the prison camp plot twist?
Because it was a legend from Soviet times. And Soviets did a movie about that in 1968.

still better than Fury

Apples and oranges.

How?

Guessing he meant PzIII and PzIV

>Although thinly armored,
nigga it was 60mm. thicker than the panzer 3 and early panzer 4 frontal armor

It has brains. Commander outsmarts the enemy. He makes plans and shit. They even showed the process of calculation of speed and shit. It's not something you can find in a Hollywood movie.

>Abloo ablooo my soviet jewish brobaganda is bedder than your jewish brobaganda

all the dumb shit in Fury came from a book though

>from a book though
From the infamous Death Traps actually

>unironically watching russian propaganda films

Yeah, just saying it wasn't a Hollywood concoction, but fourth-hand stories and misinformation from some dude in a maintenance company.

Still funny they banned Death of Stalin in Russia. Doubt I'd have even watched it if not for the Streisand effect.

Just like that Bill Browder documentary that gets taken down as soon as it's posted, Magnitsky Act Behind the Scenes.

I don't have to watch it to know that it's just a Russian's propaganda film.

How are you watching it and can you please gib a link for me to watch? For free gib please?

You may not believe me but for the past 10 or something years all russian WW2 films was more antisoviet then most western movies

>slopped armor
> it could deflect those shots
thats not how sloped armor works unless at extreme angles
