What is your favorite weapon in all of fiction and why?
Fictional Weapons
>favorite weapon
A280 blaster rifle from star wars
>why
it's OP AF in one particular game
Come on, only 1 of you has a favorite fictional weapon?
guess they haven't decided yet
They say that on quiet nights in Zion Valley, if you listen very carefully, you can still hear the echo from Randal Clark screaming "COUGHER FUCKING SHITS" over the sound of 12.7mm gunfire.
The Bastard Gun from from the Metro Games (excluding Exodus)
bumping for mild interest
but this isn't really a Jow Forums thing. u try /tg/, op?
>Fictional Weapons
>On the Weapons board
>"not really a Jow Forums thing"
Hmm
i love them in star wars legion
This is the most fucking retarded thing I've seen all day
The Bastard is in Exodus too, they just made it a true SMG chambered in a pistol caliber.
What in the FUCK is that.
Halo Ring system
>wipe out all sentient life in the galaxy at the push of a button
You’d be king of the entire fucking galaxy
Dont really have a favorite but the Subtle Knife from the Golden Compass series that I read like 16 years ago was pretty badass.
Knife could be used to cut through literally anything, also was able to slice open portals to other worlds/dimensions.
Relativistic kinetic kill vehicle (RKKV). If you could fire slugs from a rail gun at a high enough percentage of the speed of light then you could pretty much vaporize anyone you wanted.
what are you talking about, nigger? did you even post a weapon?
>a setting for every occasion, from "laser pointer" to "explosively vaporize a cube of solid tritanium"
>can power a shuttlecraft in a pinch
>fun retro aesthetic
>can be set to overload when the space atf come knocking
>checks for the Graviton Beam Emitter.
>Not found.
Let's fix that.
Certainly my favorite when it comes to depiction of recoil.
Is there any official information of how these things are supposed to get aimed?
Projected into the eye, AI aiming it etc.?
Or based on depiction series, pure intuition with a high likelihood of missing the target?
I want to make my 10/22 pic related, I’m not sure how to start the project.
Should I get airshit AK ? Or get AK handgaurd and work from there out of wood.
Looks cool and I like titanfall
HUD integration seems plausable. You could probably build quite a bit of stabilization and auto-aim in there too.
Heavy bolter
Center Balance Systems has a pretty good bullpup chassis for the 10/22. Love mine, had to do a bit of fitting
Excaliboar
I saw them, they seem fine, but want the AK look. I wish I could commission them to make a more TiF2 shaped chassis.
This
Phaser rifles have built in optics, but pistols are aimed by plot. If I remember correctly, according to tech manuals when the trigger is pulled, an integrated ai locks on to what it thinks the intended target is, then corrects the beam to hit the target. That's how shit like pic related is explained away.
The Red Diamond, aka the Chim El Ada Bal.
That the same AI they use in self driving cars?
Please tell me that this is just fanfiction
Sorry, not sorry but force is female #standbyrianjohnson
God damnit, Disney
AHHHHHH FUCK YOU DISNEY
>Trust me
Probably the Cerebral Bore or the ice gun in Turok 2.
The Cerebral Bore launches a homing projectile that drills into an opponent's skull before exploding.
The ice gun is cool because it freezes enemies and then allows for a follow-up attack with a rocket launcher or the Cerebral Bore.
I was a mech like you until i got a rocket to my knee
I'm pretty sure I had this Transformer
2287 Type 2 is peak aesthetic phaser.
>Or based on depiction series, pure intuition with a high likelihood of missing the target?
Supposedly the hand phaser is designed with personal defense in mind, so point aiming at close range is the idea behind its lack of sights. The shows kind of keep to this philosophy. Hand phasers are carried mostly as self defense weapons and they break out the rifles for any kind of concerted offensive/defensive engagement.
I wish to be interred in a dreadnought so I can continue to serve the emperor
Staff weapon from stargate obviously
What is this sexy thing from?
Macross.
Crescent Rose.
>halo
Why? i think its really purdy
Also the fact that its habitable would really come in handy once this rock goes to shit because of the chinese
See that's what i thought but it still uses my rifle rounds
Giving me serious nostalgia user.
xenonauts actually thats the X-37 Corsair
I really love 40k's plasma guns, they're as volatile and deadly as they should be.
cringe
Teeth gun made from soup
Law giver.
Because I AM THE LAW.
looks like the g11
Zippity zappity zoop, you are now a pile of goop.
This and the DG-2
Yep, its a fictional weapon.
Point of view gun from Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Hearts and Minds!
Except the flood tho
>If there is beauty in destruction, why not also in its delivery.
That episode where melfina cures genes poison was the first time I ever achieved arousal. I remember it distinctly
This and the Exterminator from Psycho Pass.
The r115 resonator
>God I wish we could replace Richthofen with a hot chick
Was gonna say this.
Fuck your armor, size, power, whatever...
Even if you're a battleship this pistol will just erase you.
Star Wars, one of the most trite fantasy series out there.
>ywn turn a symbol of imperial might into a beacon of democracy
Life is painful sometimes
SGA micro drones, it's like a swarm of remote control bullets but significantly better.
Randal Clark was depressing
My nigga
Ha! I get that one
Lol if this is real I'm gonna see episode nine just for the laughs
You are дeбил
Cool-looking picture. I like the artstyle. I've never seen any of rwby, though, because I hate the CGI and have other stuff to watch. What's special about the Crescent Rose?
>requires a fingerprint to work
>won't let you switch fire modes or even fire at all unless you get permission from the gubbermind's computers
>won't even shoot at people unless their irl reddit karma is below a certain threshold
>takes eternity to decide whether or not it should let you shoot
Honestly, they'd be better off using the dominators as clubs, given how front-heavy they are, especially since they have that pointy bit at the front right under the barrel.
It's just a big scythe that turns into a fiddy-cal sniper rifle.
Oh. Sick.
Neutron beam cannons, deadly at all ranges
>Ywn be able to go full retard on a bunch of xenomorphs with this fucker.
Becoming the weapon.
What's the tagline for that show? It's also a gun? Because every weapon is whatever it is plus two or three other things, with at least one of those being firearm of some sort. Except Jaune's sword, it's just a sword, though his shield does turn into a scabbard.
>Except Jaune's sword, it's just a sword, though his shield does turn into a scabbard.
It takes him and a half seasons, but he eventually figures out that he's using a Ludwig's Holy Blade from Bloodborne.
*three and a half
