How does Jow Forums better manage themselves at spending money on guns? Its not like I am missing bills or anything, I just dont have any other interest to spend money on so I blow it all on guns.

I manage by the fact that what you spent is almost 10x the amount of money I have.

There are worse things to spend money on.
Guns are a sound investment.

Only the guns themselves. Ammo and accessories not so much.

If it’s disposable income and you are not racking up debt and you don’t still live with your parents, then I see no problem.

>How does Jow Forums better manage themselves at spending money on guns?
For me it's by being fucking poor, however I'm working on changing that and will hopefully be spending at least 5k on guns in the next 12 months.

Luckily for me, I only spend it on guns.

>have 80ish guns
>only have 2 optics that I paid over $200
>barely have any ammo
>no accessories other than mags

One of them I am waiting to arrive from switzerland (SG553RP) and the other I am waiting to show up since I just won it off gunbroker (FNC) so the only two I have in my current possession is my SG751 and SGL41. Heres the SG751

basically i ask myself how cool it will be after a few days/sessions of shooting

Forgot pic.

I tel myself that too, yet I always give in. Some of the guns I have I touch maybe once a year. I get them, shoot a mag through them, then throw them in the safe.

How is this a problem?

I feel like if I better invested money it would be smarter down the longrun. I am self employed and I am currently venturing into being a landlord, I currently own 3 rentals however I spend enough in a year to buy a new rental house every year. Last year I spent, around $33k on guns which is more than I paid for my most recent rental, including renovations.

>says he has a Swiss gun
>marked fucking Texas

Get out of here larp

>you don’t still live with your parents

why is this a problem? i make 90k-100k a year and still live with my parents bc it would be lonely as fuck living in a house by myself. plus i can shoot guns in the yard at my parents house and have a reloading/gunsmithing setup in my dad's shop and i would have to spend a bunch of money to get my own house where i could shoot with a shop. plus when they die i would get the house and not even end up having to ever buy my own house

OP here,

I agree with this guy, if I wasnt married 100% I would live with my parents even though I can afford not to. I have a great relationship with my parents so I never minded living at home. Plus it would be lonely just coming home to an empty every night IMO.

cheapish nihilistic gun shit is best gun shit

Get out of here bait

How am I bait? The SG751 is a swiss made gun made ONLY by sig in switzerland, not some fudd-tier shop in texas.

During this year I have used 1500 euros on gun, ammunition and accessories. Would have used more, but I am poor as fuck.

curl up in ball and cry because i cant afford to buy every gun i want and have to settle for cheaper options

yikes

Literally nothing wrong with this. The idea that people shouldn't live with extended family, especially when you have a big house and a lot of land, is a trick aimed at undermining European culture and familial wealth.

That's just a waste of money. Have you ever sold a gun, and could you bring yourself to sell a gun?

Hookers.

Bought a Sig 365, a Shockwave shotgun and bought a .30 suppressor all in the same day on a credit card yesterday.
I feel like shit. Why did I spend so much money on guns? I already have 5 handguns and a shotgun.
WHY?
Why do I have this addiction to liberty, freedom, independence?
But god damn, the Sig 365 is a really fucking good gun. Whatever kinks it had in it are not apparent in the new model I bought. Put 200 rounds of various ball and hollow points through it in three different size magazines without a single FTF.
My only gripe is that the slide stop is damn near impossible to use as a slide release.
Anyone recomend me a good IWB holster for it?

>Sig 365 is a really fucking good gun
You had me going for a second there
But....
Fake and gay

If you have the time spend it on training and cool classes instead of more funz.

I'm kind of a really impulsive person, so the most important part of it is what you do on payday. I usually prioritize, based on what bills are the most important (rent is no 1, and luxuries is last). I pay all the bills, and maybe set aside a small amount of money (pretend like I don't even have it, maybe in a money jar or safe), and the rest goes into fun money.

All on the same day I get paid.

Okay then, if it makes you feel better, make a budget and allocate a percentage of your income to hobbies and a percentage of your income to reinvestment into income producing assets.
Point I'm making is that you're working hard, making coin, and bot being a general liability. Don't feel guilty using part of your profit on things that make you happy. You earned it.

This. Go into debt, American. Be like Sex In The City!

As someone with a gun collection in the triple digits, you'll slow down eventually. Soon enough you'll have all the guns you REALLY want, and all that's left is the guns you KINDA want.

As soon as you hit that point you get kinda lethargic about collecting, like "nnnnnnaaaah, I'll get that one later. No big deal"

ive spent most of my 2019 gun budget on is my armory. The only guns i've purchased so far in 2019 is a HK416D and I will be picking up a Glock 34 Gen 5 next week.

I can confirm Texan sig is best sig

I think when he say's 'don't live with your parents', he means 'don't HAVE to live with your parents'. Essentially if your poor choices are restricting your ability to provide for yourself, then you fucked up.

Fuck dude, if I made six figures and paid no rent with a comfy country lifestyle I'd be the happiest man alive.

OP here
No,
I literally meant he needs to be living under his own roof.
Period.

youre not OP I am. If you want to prove you're OP post your (my) SG751 thats already been posted.

I swear to god shit like this is proof capitalism is a flawed ideology.

>be Asian
>family and close familial bonds is a big thing in gook culture
>can stay home rent free as long as I have a job, help out around the house, don't do drugs or get a girl pregnant before marriage
Now I just gotta become true hasguns instead of just shooting with friends after finishing the CCNA and landing a better job in the tech sector.

I think some capitalistic prinicples are necessary to prevent a monopoly, but there needs to be thrid-party controls to maintain moral integrity and safety of both the worker and consumer. A three-way balance between Executive, Worker, and Customer if you will. But I guess the biggest obstacle to tackle on is human nature itself.

I'm o.p. and you're both massive faggots.

That's the importer you fucking sped.

>How does Jow Forums better manage themselves at spending money on guns?
I've spent nothing to date. Haven't been shooting this year, thanks for alerting me to that fact.

Well, I am debating between a Springfield XD Mod.2 9mm and a S&W M&P M2.0 9mm 5 inch barrel... so maybe if I consider that to be about $450 and an AK which I'd like to buy at about $700 and $400 for ammo and other shit, I'll be on track to spend maybe $1500?

>tfw in college and can't buy guns
Once I'm out I predict all the money I am trying to save is going to be wasted on a bunch of bullshit though.

"People that are good at budgets pls help"

>$900 rent
>$230 utilities
>$300 food
>$12850 guns
>$120 gas

Pls help guys I cant figure out what Im doing wrong???

i see nothing wrong

By not having $120 to spend on anything, let alone $12000 to spend on guns.

>How does Jow Forums better manage themselves at spending money on guns?
By being canadian.

Are you my sister?
She makes pretty good money (90k a year) but she still lives at home
Her bedroom is just a mess of guns ammo and reloading equipment
She easily has 30k rounds of ammo stuffed into her bedroom

This may be a trap but might as well.
Post pics?

>This may be a trap but might as well.
I assure you my sister is a girl (female)

Pics then?

>be in a socialist country
>pay $12850 in tax instead

You do need to cut down on the guns user. If you buy a new rental place once a year for the next 20 years you're gonna be rolling in dough and will have secured the future for yourself and grandchildren. Imagine all the rare and cool guns you can buy then.

As long as you are not in debt or negligent on you financial obligations then who gives a fuck about what you spend your disposable income on? Don’t feel ashamed about spending money on something you enjoy.

If you're smart you could purchase gun's that either won't depreciate in value or will gain in value over time, which you could consider an asset/security or an investment.

my dad always used to say having guns was better than having money bc if you got your money in the bank you'll wanna spend it but if you got your money in the guns youll wanna keep them
