honestly its very easy, i felt the same way before ordering it wondering if i'd have been better off buying a g19 outright. the jig has the spots marked out for you to drill and gives you the bits needed. i didn't use the 9mm drill bit they send, i just dremmeled the piece in the bore.

Trying to locate a blank 34 slide (or 17, or 19) that doesn't have the front sight cut.

I would have never figured this was a rare request in the age of the RMR, but i guess it is.

You shouldn't get a mos, they suck. It's way better to get a normal slide milled for a rmr. It is more secure and sits lower on the slide.

What does that have to do with all the entraving and stippling and shit? I actually like the sleek slide of the glock, I can understand putting a sight on it but find the rest of it baffling. They don't look good most of the time, if you wanted a nice slide why not go with an HK or something. Power to people who like it I guess, it's just not for me.

Now that large frame P80s are out there you will probably see more for the 45s. I think part of it may just be that the .45 AARP is just popular with a different market segment. I know the only large frame "Glock" I have any interest in is a 10mm. If i wanted a 45, i'd get a 1911 or threaded USP.

Almost done with mine, but I have a question those some gucci guys may be able to answer. Have a brownells rmr cut slide with trijicon supressor height night sights, buying the rmr 07 soon. I know the trijicons are slightly higher than ameriglo, and the brownells slide is cut slightly deeper. Trying to get lower 1/3 co witness but I'm afraid it will end up being absolute. Any thoughts?
