M1911 or 92FS?

M9 because its essentially a 92fs but without the gay "read manual before use" nonsense inscribed all over it.

whats your cc?

m&p shield

I own both a 92fs and a 1911, Theyre both excellent in their own right but the 92fs is much more of a range gun and home defense. I can occasionally carry my 1911, so it has a slight advantage

depending of what 1911, unlike 92s they are not all created equal, if you are willing to get a good one it will spoil you so much you will change your cc.

Get a 1911, even if you get a basic one you can invest slowly on it a get a great gun, much more aftermarket support so you can really make it your own.

Co-worker just picked one of these up and it fit like a glove when I held it. Get one if you can afford it. Don't listen the Jow Forums memes.

>recommending XD
You should follow your own advice.

wut? I didn't recommend the XD

They are so completelt different guns holy shit youre such a stupid fucking nigger for posing the question like that. What do you want from your gun? What would you like to do to your gun in the future? How do you plan to shoot it? that mag capacity difference yikes. How do they fit your hand? Most important thing in general you idiot. All in all you are fucking stupid.

>10.5 44mag revolver

An old friend of mine loved and swore by his XD and mod 2, what makes them so bad?

it's a 300$ gun that cost 600$ because springfield put his name on it

Then what is this fucking shit right here? Overpaying because less expensive products are functionally bad is okay? Because your Wilson Combat refuses to function because you haven't cleaned it after 100 rounds? Fucking double standards, I swear.

>imagine having to actually ask this question

it's 1911

I don't think there is any custom fitting done by master gunsmuth in a hs2000, I also doubt it can shoot 1 inch at 25 yards or has the trigger or the genneral fit, finsh and smoothness of a high end 1911

So you're still applying double standards to fit whatever scenario you feel like when the only issue you could offer for the XD is price, and I'm guaranteeing that they've been sold for well under $600 on sale.

1911 fags are unreasonable.

Either is going to be a fun handgun as long as the 1911 you get is decent (which will make it close to $300 minimum more than the 92FS). If you're looking for effectiveness probably get the 92, higher capacity, more modern features, likely more reliable, 9mm benefits etc. If you want a high quality target shooter/something that looks nice/big gun that also carries easier than a 92, has a better trigger and more customization options, then get the 1911.

Either way as long as you don't buy a Taurus PT92 instead or get a good brand 1911 you'll have a good time with either.

Love my Beretta though, holds 17+1 with Mec Gar mags (or 18+1 if you don't mind your mags requiring an AR tier smash to seat), I've also got a metal guide rod I added and mixed with the metal frame the recoil is stupid light.

Fuck you for making me notice this on mine again

what double standars? I'm statting that there is value in custom 1911s and i don't believe they are overprice when you look at their production.
You culd literal buy hs2000 for 250 before springfield stamped their name on it and called them XDs, so there is no value in the rest of the money they are charging, you could never buy a wilson combat for 1k, so yeah, that is my problem with the XD, no need to get so defensive about it

Why are you so invested in your friends gun? Did you suck his cock that much?

>The only issue with the XD is the price
>Not retarded gripzone
>Not made by an anti 2A company
>Not the trigger recal

Nothing. They're good handguns.

>buying a kimber
>ever
You would be 100% better off just lighting your money on fire.
