I think this is a bigger diplomatic incident than most people realize. The UAF sent a stealth strike force to drop 6 subs into the Eridani II ocean. These subs could be used for covert troop landing anywhere on any continent. They also are hard to find and can serve as mobile command centers for advanced forces. I bet you any amount of money there are spec ops in those subs. Spec ops and saboteurs.

That’s true. the Reich can’t really declare war because technically Wöhler gave the UAF permission. I’d wager they just hang Wöhler and triple their efforts to hunt down spies on Eriandi II. I really wouldn’t want to live on Eriandi II rn. The Reich will probably retaliate by setting up another UAF ship or two to have an “accident” like they did with the UFS Obama.

Hard to say, There's roughly 300 million people on Ichor and the planet has been heavily fortified. There's a fleet of warships and several orbital defense stations around the planet, as well as ground-to-space railguns set up on the mountainous ranges. There's also an extensive tunnel network and bunker system designed to survive surface bombardment and extensive siege, and although only roughly 20% of the planet's population is full-time military the rest are either in the reserves or home guard. The Pilgrims have been preparing for this war for a while now, and they plan on taking as much Teuton blood as possible.

Ever took history in old american class? Remember about the cold war and the Vietnam war? It's the same thing except the reich and the uaf are basically using teutons and pilgrims since its on a smaller scale and not a full out war because both the GGR and UAF know how badly they both will suffer in economics and profits if they both go to war which would hurt EVERYONE IN SPACE

Neither side as top tier ships but most are previous classes or sub class of first line units. The Army of God do have an old UAF light drone carrier, previously the Equality, now the Billy Graham. Most of the rest of their fleet rates light cruiser and below. The Teutonic Order have to retrofitted IRM heavy cruisers. Previously of the Margave Izumi class they are now the Gottes Gerechtigkeit class.
Very few purpose built warships but the Pilgrims out number the Teuton fleet about 2:1 but the overall tonnage is about equal. The Pilgrim fleet is pretty out of position so unless they burn really hard the Teutons should be able to drop an assault wave on Ichor and retain enough velocity to remain effective against the Pilgrim fleet. If I had to put money on it the fleets are going to beat each other into ineffectiveness and it will turn it into a win or die fight on the ground.

I hear the Kaiser’s cousin is one of the Tuton commanders, Fridrich von Wilhelm. He’s a Tutonic Knight and he’s as tall and as mean as his cousin. Do we know who’s leading the fleet?

Fleet is going smoothly and combat effectiveness seems to be off the charts, with ship board weapons systems being able to target individual corvettes across several hundred solar systems. I'm thinking about taking on a human name... I beat a member of the shadow council with a cain the other day for insulting my family's livelihood as though he himself wasn't a slave but a month back... We've been told to sit tight and wait out the space battle underground. We're not expecting the fleet to defeat the Teutons, but they should weaken 'em and heavily reduce their ability to call in orbital support. After that it's just a matter of winning the war of attrition on the ground. The basic plan for now is to use the tunnel network reaching across the planet to harass them, for any Teutons who decide to take the plunge into said tunnels we've got quite a diverse array of creative traps waiting for them. Nikolai Kowalczyk, the commander of the home guard for Ichor who was in charge of setting up the tunnels, looked to past examples like the war on Mars and even a really old war between a nation known as "Vietnam" and the old United States for how to build the defensive tunnel network.
