Because no one likes spam threads. Now fuck off.

>bastardization of the Garand action
>inferior to other semi-auto .223 guns
>expensive, proprietary magazines

How could we *not* hate the you?

It's not you. It's your price tag.

fpbp

This. It's a neat rifle, and it's kinda fun to poke AR autists with it because how dare anyone like what they don't like but we don't have to see 5 threads about it every day.

>It's your price tag.

>$500
>$260
>$500

The MSRP on a new one is, according to Ruger, 1050$. Which is a bit expensive. Still I do intend to eventually get one- a modern mini 14 is basically the 2 moa or slightly better perfected version of the garand, scaled down to something useful as a ranch carbine.

You can get modern ones for $500 or under on Gunbroker. They don't attract a lot of interest. Took me a month to sell mine.

please tell me where i can get a fucking mini14 for $260 other than afghanistan

Got mine on Gunbroker. Came with three mags and an extra ATI stock.

Basic Mini-14 costs nearly $800 where I live. I'm aware fuddbroker can be cheaper, but most of the gun shops out here in fuddland bitch and moan to high hell over transfers.

Try and find a mini 14 in California under $700

>cost to quality ratio isn't very good
>expensive magazines
>not as easy to maintain or field strip
>less accurate than cheaper options

They're decent rifles. When I worked in a prison it was what we had to qualify with yearly. They shoot pretty well. I love how light they are and they're handsome rifles. I just don't think they're worth what you see them going for.

STANAG mag compatibility motherfucker
do you speak it?

its not you, its me.

Yeah at most retail stores i see here, big 5, Dicks' ect, they are between 7 and $800 which seems silly. But recent laws have made me lean more in favor of going mini 14 over AR. Should i do it? I'm too much of a miserable faggot to leave Cali. I can't live without guac.

I can build a cucked AR for under $400.

if you can afford to live in CA., you can probably afford to overpay for a mini14
i wouldn't worry about it

and i too love good guacamole

Yeah I'd get one. I'm also in California actually and I thought it was a pretty reasonable substitute for an AR. I have a barrel strut and an adjustable gas block on it and it easily shoots sub 2 moa

Well since im rich i've got a shit ton of money im definitely considering it. My only worry is that since i live in a comfy white neighborhood with my shitty shitlib parents is that they will see any paperwork related to a rifle purchase that comes to my house. My question is, living in CA, will i get paperwork sent to my home address related to the gun purchases? thanks in advance

If you have money move the fuck out of shitifornia and buy some land in a better state where you can get guns and have your own range.

No, no paperwork gets sent to your house. It's all handed to you in person

You see son, *sip, you could have gotten this nice mini 14 for only $1099. Instead you had to go online. That will be $85 for the transfer.

Literally all the transfers here around me in Jersey are like $80+... feels bad

Hmmm. Well in that case, im convinced. Will proudly post on here a pic of my new Mini pointed at the head of my jewish GF when i get it.

No paper work gets sent to your house, everything is done in person at the gun shop. Just walk in, tell man at counter what gun you want to buy, fill out paperwork and finger print, pay monies, then wait 10 days. Was super easy.

Bought my mini for $800 before taxes and fees. Recommend saving up $70 to replace the rear sight, comes loose after 100 or so rounds. The other than that it’s an awesome rifle

I live in NY, I've never paid more than $30 for a transfer.

Although it feels really bad when buying multiple receivers

Monmouth arms and ocean armory are reasonable

Nice. Thanks. Now all i gotta figure out is wooden vs synthetic stock!

the AR 15 is superior in all aspects.
as a rifle the AR platform is make to be minimalist and then you can add or modify as necessary with many parts being interchangeable even if redundant.

this makes the majority of AR parts are not only field serviceable with ease, several of the non-critical parts can be modified or replaced in a FOB armory with relative ease. many of the parts are simple enough that would could build temporary replacements in the field, or modify the rifle for less than optimal but safe functionality.

the AR is made so only the bolt and barrel are the only manufactured parts that need to be high quality and specialty crafted.

the M14 has several parts including the rear breech block, gas system, and several other parts that very technical in manufacture.

the M14 has excessive weight, unnecessary complexity, and very limited molecularity.

Thanks, I'll check them out

>Should i do it?
Yes.
>I can't live without guac.
Stop funding the cartels you monolithic faggot

Because you're an annoying cocksucker, who sucks cock.
The Mini-14 is an alright rifle though.

If a Mini-14 is that cheap, it's almost certainly one of the old pre-2006 rifles, which I really don't think you should bother with.

You know you can have guacamole outside of California, yes?

Need to polish the bolt face of my mini-30 so it shoots Russian ammo
Yep, should be a fun little project

I literally didn't know this. For the last 10 years here we've been told that guac is only readily available here. Apparently i've been lied to. Also, i'm jealous of my friend down the block who has 6 or so Ca non-compliant ARs and large capacity mags that he bought before the ban. I feel so stupid.

Jewish lineage is traced through the mother. If you have kids they will be jews

Just raise them to not be socialist and to never trust government.

I mean I know you joke, but just buy an avocado and make your own, better than any storebought dip.

>I literally didn't know this. For the last 10 years here we've been told that guac is only readily available here.
How fucking gullible do you have to be to believe something as stupid as that?

jewish neuroticism is genetic

$100 transfers for long guns in Maryland

Neurotic doesn't have to mean socialist.

Just don’t send them to Hebrew summer camp. That’s where the real brain washing occurs. Ask your girl if she went or one.

I live I Mississippi and we have guacamole made by actual Mexicans. fuck off urbanite

At least your lgs will do it without complaint. If a gun store won't order me the gun I want without getting pissy, I stop shopping there. Pity, because there are surprisingly few decent fun shops around me.

It's not that minis are expensive for what they are, it's that ARs are cheap for what they are.

Mine was a 581 with the tapered barrel. Bought it for $260 plus shipping and it took me a month or two to find anyone who wanted to buy it for $560.

Because it's a 5.56 rifle with proprietary magazines that's more expensive and less accurate than a basic bitch AR.

And don't even get me started on the Mini-30.
>more expensive than a fucking WASR while simultaneously being unreliable when shooting steel case ammo

Cause you don't take AR mags

the irony in this post

...nigga is this elite bait or what?
