Small squad level drones with the capacity to fire AT munitions is my current fetish. Setting up a small airbase with a few of these things could be done at a platoon level, and provide recon and precision strikes for a pretty large area.

I like the AN-2, bare bones rugged plane without too much fancy shit to distract you. It's a very unromantically physical plane, but this thing goes virtually anywhere and runs off normal 80 octane car fuel without too many issues. It has a compressed air starting system, so cold isn't a problem for pic related.
