tinier guns are harder to shoot, you want to have a better grip and more sight radius in a situation like that. Im a damn good shot with my little .380 but Im even better with a glock 19 or sig p226. And lets be honest, the real reason why most of us EDC is in case we run into a situation as fucked as this. Either that or getting mugged/attacked by some random psycho, and in either case you'll either be A: on a more even playing field with full sized sidearm. Even though youd be going against a rifle, its still much better compared to a mouse gun or B: since youre more likely to run into a pshyco trying to rob you than a mass shooter, you stand a better chance at being even better armed then them
