directed energy weapons to disrupt the atmosphere over a target country and prevent them from being able to send or receive satellite information.

UUV's with long endurance that can shadow enemy ships almost constantly, waiting for the kill command to approach and detonate.

Long range missiles with a 'flechette' warhead that bursts miles from the target. each flechette isa luneberg lens and a decoy for the real ASM's that are mixed in to the attack.

Gravitational field manipulator.
Harnesses earth's gravitational field by redirecting and amplifying it in an attempt to deflect incoming projectiles within close proximity or reduce the projectile's kinetic energy upon impact.

The gravitational field intensity decays by square of distance and the degree of amplification and redirection achievable is determined by the surrounding gravitational field, power source, and system design limitations.

Stem cells regrow any body of a human, and stem cells resurrect. Stems cells are easy to collect from human births. Stem cells are easy to make from semen sperm cum. Stem cells are easy to make from human breast milk.

Tiny carbon nano tubemetals in body will maintain some electrical current from background electrical radio waves. Some directed energies are effective to carry these tiny metals. Some magnets also effectively STEM these tiny metals. When the metals are moved then the metals carry some of the earlier electricity. There was already background electricity at the place the metal would be carried to. This process is callable as, "collecting" electricity. Sometimes the collected electricity is enough to stimulate muscle movement and even sense of touch.

Stem cell resurrection, and directed energies to rearrange molecular position of things are an explanation of multiple dimensions. Certain arrangements are thicker enough against human body that our weight is supported. Other arrangements are less thicker where are own molecules of our bodies are thicker. Using directed energies and stem cells to reinforce current body cell arrangement, our bodies can be more or less likely to slip through things that have had their molecular positions arranged to lack thickness at where our body molecules are currently thick.

We can have multiple thickness arrangements at the same time. These combinations of arrangements can be planned so people can travel through some things and others can not. This technology makes doors out of anything...but we only need to be in a favorable molecular arrangement so the thick molecule zones of us slip around, and through, the thickened molecules of something else. While we use stem cells, we are more likely to survive slipping through something.

A one cubic-foot fabricator, expandable to 64 cubic feet. Field deployable with a 4 kW generator and raw materials. Fill the base with water to add weight and stabilize the base. Capable of common machine processes and improves upon 3D printing with high precision vapor deposition/removal process.

Passive/low power atmospheric water generator in a box, expandable to over 10 square meters, weighs under 5kg, collects water during optimal dew point. Collection mesh has very high surface area with high concentration of condensation nuclei via adsorptive polymers embedded on the outer surface of the mesh.

Extremely fault-tolerant logistics supply chain, capable of independent operation for up to six months with no contact. Capable of utilizing local materials, salvage waste, minimal production capability for key defense and sustenance capabilities.

Greenhouse facilities with hybridized strains of crops. Long term deployments set up shop and have a supply of fresh food. Great for military PR.

Self-healing inflatable structures, wear/weather/UIV-VIS-IR resistant. Adsorptive chillers maintain temperatures up to 40 degrees Fahrenheit above or below environmental temperatures depending on climate. Regularly flushes interior air with fresh, climate controlled air every thirty minutes.

Economical woven-cermet material, lowers carrying weight of rigid structures by 20%. Tolerant to tension, compressive, torsion, and flexure at or above what it's designed to replace. Does not require autoclaving but performance is improved if it is.

Pretensioned foam-like ballistics plate, sort of like dragon skin but at a nanoscale level. Breaking one portion does not compromise protection for nearby structures. Absorbs up to intermediate rifle cartridges and is so cheap to produce that it's literally thrown away like styrofoam in the field. It can be separated from the more expensive strike plate. Soldiers who have many shot plates while on deployment prefer to stick them on vehicles.

Flexible and transparent nitride glass, very hard glass for ballistics protection. Requires fewer layers of PVB and glass to protect against threats, saving on weight. Adds to the long list of optical crystalline materials available for use.

Hollow microsphere ceramics and plastics, reduces weight of non-critical rigid structures as a filler.

Deformation resistant, high memory, EVA material. Think of a pool noodle, but no matter what is done to it, it always returns to its original shape. Does not require exotic materials or production processes.

Extremely high drag coefficient structure above Cd=2.0 . Greatly reduces velocity to safer levels for parachutes, improving general outcomes for jumpers and reducing likelihood of injury.

Economical production process for UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight PolyEthylene). Supplements paracord and tow ropes, allowing for thinner ropes or stronger tensile load.

Ion-sensitive linked MEMS actuators, pioneer technological application to better-than-replacement prosthetic due to its ability to mimic muscle contractions. Only drawback is regular service and repair of said systems. It's stupid expensive since there are trillions of them in just one limb. Self repairing systems won't be commonplace until 20 years after its debut in the military.

Some form of drug or excitotoxin cocktail that allows soldiers to get retard strength on demand. Soldier's stupid factor increases exponentially when they decide to use it for fun. Super-coffee product. After years of complaining that soldiers can't stand drinking that weak-ass brown water at the DFAC, military researchers have found a way to gut punch soldiers with a coffee-flavored cocktail of natural compounds extracted from various exotic plants that makes them wired, focused, and most of all awake, even if they don't want to be. It's sold in the vending machines, next to the bag of hot cheetos in packs of five freeze dry powder packets for $2.50. It's no surprise that it's a big hit. It's one of the military derived products that turns a massive profit. Soldiers usually just dump all five in with hot water. Hilarity ensues.

Long term loiter munitions that are available upon operator request.

Basically think of a large stealth UAV that orbits the AO and can drop munitions upon request from various members of the unit on the ground. It'd provide a different camera angle for the guys on the ground, but then they can simply laser a target or hit it with smoke, or designate from the UAV's perspective, to then call in the ordinance. You could make it whatever scale you wanted too, ranging from a man-portable version that could just drop five or six grenades in a small urban combat zone, or you could make ones large enough to be dropped off the back of a C17 that could do long term loiter with hellfires, rotary canons, or basically whatever the hell you wanted.

The real fuck you would be whether you want them recoverable or not. You could make smaller ones into mobile bombs so once they expended their payload they could then use themselves as one final munition.

These probably already exist, and I don't mean just as normal UAVs with ground operators back at an airfield.

Long term loiter beyond sight range would scare the shit out of combatants, especially if its entire airframe is pretty much filled with bombs. Whether it's a suicide UAV is probably dependent on the kind of equipment it has on hand.

Instead of just one UAV, I'd think it would be one large UAV mothership with payload that also has all the good equipment to detect targets. Smaller worker-bee UAVs loiter a larger perimeter and communicate with the main mothership and other UAVs. The mothership flies very high out of sight range These smaller UAVs have less advanced sensor arrays and depend on more economical solutions such as a an array of smartphone cameras and maybe some LIDAR. Their computational capabilities can be contained within smartphone hardware as well with maybe a parallel processing board included.

Motherships are recovered or fly back home when the mission is over. The worker bees can continue to loiter or suicide bomb if it's too expensive to recover or they run out of juice. Memory and compute components are rigged to self destruct before impact. Worker bees are also fault tolerant and have redundancies that allow them to fly even if one of their propelling motors are shot or malfunction. If they are shot and the operator does not react in time, it tries to beeline straight to whoever shot it in a suicide divebomb.

I like the mother ship idea. If we're going to go all out and use the bleeding edge of American technology I think we'd be looking at a large scale solar powered mother ship with a wingspan of maybe 250 feet or so, that way it could essentially loiter up at 40,000 or 50,000 feet indefinitely. That may not be preferable once we're using munitions that could only be launched from the mother ship such as large JDAMs or ALCMs, but the trade off is based on weight and whether we'd want to do midair UAV refueling in order to host large ordinance or if we want it to be slow but with an infinite loiter time.

It'd probably have a couple dozen small UAVs that are either themselves bombs or another type of delivery vehicle. To beat out current air support we have to be able to deliver munitions faster and more accurately than current UAVs or jet aircraft, speed can be handled by the infinite loiter, and the sensors can be quite strong given that we'd be looking at basically a solar powered U2 mother ship. The end objective of the program would either be ensuring that all operators no matter where they are have access to immediate air support, or having something that can opportunistically hunt over head of a city or large formation for multiple weeks at a time while waiting for the right time to drop a little bit of death.

The weak point is that quality SAMs would see the mother ship as a great target, obviously they'd fly out of MANPAD range, but dealing with an S400 would be a different matter. That'd likely mean resorting to stealth in the design, which may be another potential boon for an electric aircraft that could fly more slowly and at a higher altitude without giving off large heat or IR signatures.

The things we could do with long term loiter drones are basically infinite. If we stretched the idea so that the drones could land and then sit dormant for orders, we could seemingly develop a long term area denial ambush systems that lie in wait.

I think you guys would want something like a few hundred Raytheon Stormbreakers.

>The weak point is that quality SAMs would see the mother ship as a great target
A large glider will definitely have an issue with that and protecting against such systems would have to reliant on intel and due diligence to ensure these systems are targeted by a worker bee first. The fundamental flaw of the mothership is that its worker bees indicates that there is loitering, so these systems will have to rely on additional support to get rid of anything that could detect them.

It's probably not good to capture territory with them, but rather to make sure combatants don't move back in. Its best application would probably be to burn territory even after ground troops withdraw or move on to other places.

But what's the source

gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=4642976

>The fundamental flaw of the mothership is that its worker bees indicates that there is loitering, so these systems will have to rely on additional support to get rid of anything that could detect them.

I agree with everything you said. But I think it'd be wise to use this fundamental flaw to our advantage. That is to say that if we utilize stealth to reduce the signature of the aircraft, we could do the inverse to increase the signature of the bee. Obviously losing the queen would mean close to a hundred million or more dollars going up in smoke, but losing bees should only mean a couple million at most per drone; if we provide the queen with four or five drones that only work to serve as decoy queens we can end up with a huge dollar net-positive as opponents use their pricey SAM systems to take shots at what they think is the queen. Once one decoy goes down she'd drop another and it'd start doing its work in a totally new area, draw attention away from wherever the queen is. There is even a chance that SAMs would miss the target bee since it is creating a signature far larger than it actually is (that would be done through both the geometry of the craft, and an unfolding sail or something that serves to mimic the signature of what they'd believe to be the queen).

Regardless, I think your take is on the money. This wouldn't be a weapon for a great power conflict unless someone wants to do large formation movements without requisite AA emplacements, but it could serve to be ideal in counter insurgency operations or in maintaining territorial control. What troubles me most is that all of us on Jow Forums are freedom loving folks, and we've come up with the ideal means for the U.S. government to stifle any sort of domestic insurgency. There is absolutely nothing local American militias could do against a system like this except for blend in and never have large group meetings.

Those already exist.

>Hazing? Punishment? Reduction of rank and therefore pay?

Those are reactional. And don't work.

Need something like a microchip that causes excruciating pain if you are not in the designated place at the right time.

Haven't considered the economic war perspective. Forcing them to outspend on bullshit is a viable strategy.

As for the weapons system itself, it is a tool. These days it is natural to distrust governments and their potential intents to monitor its own population. US is very good at stinging and dismantling dissident groups when it can be bothered to. I don't think it's as big an issue as expected though. A lot of red blooded Americans (especially Jow Forumsommandos) tie themselves closer to principles and those close to them. They're keen on sabotage since they know organizing into large groups don't work and no one really knows how things go wrong if someone throws a wrench into the works. The only unifying goal is their ideology and it somehow works despite the lack of organization.

Real threat is its people. Nations are made by its people. It can change with ideology or demographic shift. People taught to hate their nation won't care about its collapse even as it becomes harder to live in because of letting the powerful strip them bare. Foreigners don't have deep roots no matter how much they burgerboo about it. That's the root of where these nationalist movements come from. They remember that the predecessors were much more successful and built a nation prosperous, and they want to return to that. It worked. Whether they'll take the steps to revert to that is a completely different matter.

Threat of war, shots already fired. The grim reality that they're gon' die (for real) straightens them out or gets them pregnant really fucking fast. Only works once though.

That's primarily a discipline issue though and you can't really beat the stupid or asshole out of them these days. Discharging them (after a long and tedious process of documentation) is usually best course of action, but there are politics and numbers to meet and they are technically activated. Not gonna happen. I don't think even a dishonorable discharge would motivate them enough at this point.

The fastest way to get people to adhere to a unifying national ideology or foundational belief is to get recent migrants and those who don't believe into a [seemingly righteous] conflict on the nation's behalf. While this is not at all related to our stealth queen bee drone, the solution to the problem of people is in engineering conflicts to get them to identify with the national identity so that they then build personal value in maintaining a respectable system of government. In many ways contemporary nationalism, predicated on anti-migrant and pro-domestic sentiment, is unhelpful to the cause of convincing migrants to adopt the classically American way of thinking as it often relegates them to being an 'out-group' when what we really need is for them to adopt the views of those of us who have long standing familial ties to these lands. There is a deep gulf between the latinos I know who served and those who couldn't have cared and don't have family who served. I'm hopeful in this regard; many latino migrants come from South American nations that are constantly torn by conflict and violence, and as a result many of them see value in enlisting in our armed forces. The challenge we face once they've enlisted is what is getting at. Refocusing our national ideology to be appealing in the 21st century is key.

But given how we discuss a matter like this, the reality is that citizen control has never existed, and the future has always been shaped by the intentions of elites. But, if I can advance myself in the federal bureaucracy to the point where I may possibly oversee our fleet of wandering queen bee drones of death then perhaps I may be able to take part in an effort to stave off the self hatred that has come to define European nations.

Regardless, there is a wide ocean between the ideology of the Jow Forumsommando and even the ideologies of other American gun owners, never mind the general public.

What's the merit of a flying wing (ala Gossamer Albatross) serving as a drone mothership as opposed to a high altitude balloon or frame carried by high altitude balloons?

If you want to loiter for months/years at a time, wouldn't a balloon be a better design? And wouldn't this also significantly cut costs if we happened to lose one?

Stop with this flying wing non-sense, it has a time and place.

Attached: Solar-Impulse-2-Around-the-world-without-fuel.jpg (600x391, 86K)

The challenge is that air support has to be where it is needed in a short time frame. An F18 can cover a huge distance very quickly to delivery support, and a gossamer albatross never really has to leave the AO, but if the balloon is in the wrong place that might be fatal. Plus in somewhere like northern Afghanistan the way the winds interact with the Himalayas and Karakorams means it becomes difficult to judge wind patterns, something that flight control still has to think about today.

It isn't a bad idea though, balloons could certainly have their uses, but powered flight seems necessary for ordinance delivery.
