Pvc pipe only degrades in sunlight. If you use the proper primer and glue it should outlast your lifetime. It will only take ground pressure. I don't know about frost lines in your country but try to get it below that the freeze cycles can uplift buried objects over time. Vertical burying can be done with a post hole auger or go horizontal. Vert will be harder to retrieve. Don't forget to vacuum seal ammo and leave magazines empty
