Is this the most underrated surplus pistol of all time? Specifically the m57 with the frame safety.

>longer grip than other toks
>wider, smoother trigger
>tall, adjustable sights
>hammer forged barrel
>sear blocking safety
>still in production
>lives up to reputation of reliability
>thin, yet strong
>lighter recoil than some 9mm loads while more powerful
>can easily be found for sub 230 dollars
>new production will be arriving this summer

I don't like the M57s, but the original Soviet TT-33s without any safety are the best from my experience.

Im considering ordering one today. Idk why they arent more popular.

Are they still 199 on classic? That's where I bought mine on yesterday.

I have an m70a 9mm version and I love it!
If you end up having mag drop issues, file your catch

Yeah the deal ends tomorrow. Im glad they got another shipment cause I was worried I missed out.

what about the Zavasta m88a? Anyone here own one?

Just bought one

>Idk why they arent more popular.
Ammo is expensive as fuck

It seems more middle of the road. Like its not great but I wouldnt say expensive as fuck.

No more expensive than 45 acp.

Great guns but the mags are difficult to come by

What's wrong with m57s?

>fucking frame safety
Dont buy a shit version of an ok gun from classic because sweaty ben jewed you and come here and try to show off your purchase you dweeb.

I shot it once and had some failures to eject to it's sat in my safe for years, my friend's has been 100% though

Classic pisses me off. They actively wont approve pretty much any critical review.

I have to pay tax because I live in NC and you cant even trust the reviews since they only allow good ones.

They are "christian" but have little integrity.

Where to cop a no safety version? I'm also still asspained that Ben sent me one without a fucking crest.

Who knows, its all up to sweaty ben.
But to be fair you shouldve made better choices than to buy a tok with a safety.
>baby hands

I thought all Toks imported here had to have one installed? And yes, handlet here. Which btw, the m57 is a good gun for small hands.

Seems like youd be better suited to a TT33 or bulgy than the big boy guns.
>that extra round is just wasted length on your hand.

I bought 3.

One had to be filed to function properly. The other two were pretty fantastic.

Gib cheap 7.62tok pls

Are M57s okay? They are actually cheap here in Canada and we have plenty of surplus that is also cheap. I want to put wood grips on it if I can

They do. Look for an M57 with the glock-style trigger safety installed, then take out the trigger and just buy an original trigger off ebay.
Ta-da! your M57 is now all-original.
