Idk which to go with.

Dunnae have one yet, but plan on a savage 99 in 303 savage I think

Does anyone know of a 44mag lever action that has a threaded barrel from the factory?? I've found .357's but I already own a 44mag revolver so I would really like to find a lever action to go with it and be able to use my SilencerCo Hybrid suppressor on it.

Fuck I want a lever gat so bad

I want something in .357 mag so I can share boolets with my revolver.

Do I have any options other than a Winchester 1894?

What is your problem with Winchester? They have a reputation as THE lever gat company for a reason.

perhaps he is boycotting the japs and thus will have to buy brazillian

Do you take that to the range in a flower delivery box?

Nothing against Winchester, but when I think of lever actions the first brands that come to mind are Marlin and Henry

Stop pretending to be me
I have nothing against them, just curious if I had other options is all. Also the price tag.

So as a newfag to leverguns, Winchester is the golden standard?

I wasn't pretending to be you, I was just saying that I don't consider Winchester to be THE lever gat company

Winchester if you want loading gates, Henry if you don't.

>boycotting the japs

But why? Their food is tasty(fuck, now I want chicken teriyaki), their women are cute, and if anyone makes I better light truck,I haven't seen it.

Marlin also has loading gates

Marlin is an option to consider, as long as to thoroughly inspect it before purchase.

And for what it's worth, I handled a Winchester import lever, and the action was gritty as fuck, like someone poured a handful of sand in there.

So, perhaps a good rule of thumb is just to inspect every make carefully before handing over cash.

Henry does make nice levers though, if you're willing to pay a bit more.

Yeah, but they're owned by Cerberus.

This is on my wish list... little pricey, so other guns give it the bump.

Boycott Japan? Why? They make such good porn!

Hey lads. Any of you have trouble shooting .38 spcl through yours? Mine seem to get stuck coming out of the mag, in the carrier, locking the action up. Guessing it has to do with the OAL of .38, even tho the barrel is marked for it. JM Marlin 1894c

Check your feed ramp, you should be able to see it lower and the tube release one round. Sounds like you might just need some polishing

It feeds .357 fine. Yah I'm gonna do an action job on it one day but I don't have the tools for it right now, namely a dremmel

I got a Rossi R92 in .44 mag, now Ineed a wheelgat in .44 mag as well. What are some good options out there?

Ruger Blackhawk, Ruger Redhawk, or S&W 629.
Also, people insist that .44 Magnum handguns are really hard to shoot and very unpleasant, but it kind of isn't if you have have the right shooting form.

Every day that goes by that I don't find a reaaonably priced used .44 magnum Marlin from before 2000, I inch closer to just buying a new made Henry.

When will it end

Is the Mossberg 464 a meme? I like 30-30 and they have a pretty attractive price.

I've shot the Redhawk a few times, that will destroy your wrist if you don't hold it properly. Was leaning towards the redhawk, just curious what else is out there. That 629 classic with a 5inch barrel is pretty sexy.
Uhhh, not sure.

They're beauties.

That's turning my iron onto the big iron. If I got that, def need a nicer leveraction to go with it. Oh darn, lol

Yes, that's .44 Magnum revolvers to you, you fuck. Rimmed .44 caliber cartridges stack wide and tall.
