I take it on every hunt and LARP I go on. Honestly thinking about getting another one for when I go trail running or on short day hike. It just the right size of being just big enough without getting in the way. I've got buddies on active or in the guard that have them. They always keep mission critical gear that needs to be accessed quickly. The guard guys keep snacks and extra batteries in them because it's the fratty guard.
10/10. Well worth the $65 I paid for it.

Just picked up this fanny for a decent price, going to take it to a tailor and see how much they'll charge to sew in 2 or 3 strips of elastic webbing inside the main pouch and replace the top zipper with good velcro.

You can only really load two at a time with them and it lets you index them better in the hand, when I practiced with a full strip the middle one or the third one after two often slipped out of the strip.

Drawing from a fanny pack isn't going to be ideal, but I can do it smoothly about as fast as I can draw from my ankle or pocket holster. Also, my fanny pack has a zipper with two sliders. I cut the zipper pulls off and keep the sliders two finger widths apart on the side to be able to hook in easily and pull the thing apart. It works well for me, and I do practice with it
