In order to skirt being classified as an SBS, it’s had to have been made on a virgin receiver that was never intended to receive a shoulder stock, therefore even if that were true, your gun would be too short to not be an SBS, and if it truly was and registered, you’d have actually used a real stock rather than a brace. Furthermore the trench gun aesthetic you’re going for significantly predates the introduction of the mossman 500 series of guns by at least a decade,and the average Jow Forumsommando can readily distinguish a Mossberg pump from older designs the vintage of which you’re attempting to stylistically emulate. Beyond that, the trend of having a pistol grip on a scattergun, and the proliferation of ar furniture such as your particular pistol grip at that to firearms beyond the ar15 and m16 further contributes to the mounting list of anachronistic and legislative red herrings that prevent you from bamboozling anybody. I get it. You’re proud of how your project turned out, and rightfully so. It’s cool in a sort of Fallout series kinda way. Post your meme shotgun in relevant threads, but stop trying to trick people for some perverse validation of your woodworking project.
