Why the fuck are FNs FNCs so rare?

Yep, they were banned in 1989 and I think only a couple thousand made it into the country.
Also, a company (I think S&H) churned out a shit ton of registered sears for them before the 1986 MG registry closed,
so there is actually more registered FNC sears out there than there are semi-auto FNC's in the U.S.
Because of this, a lot of those semi-auto FNC's have been legally converted to machine guns,
driving up the price of a semi-auto one drastically.

It's a lot worse than it looks in that pic. Metal finish is only good around the receiver and beneath the woodline; there's a lot of old pitting on the exposed barrel. Stock was refinished at some point, at first I thought by Bubba but given that it's worn through on the left of the butt I'm not so sure now.

I picked this up a few weeks ago. Its a henry big boy in 357 mag. I didnt have a lever guns so i thought this was a good one. Its a smooth shooter.

Prolly at the front of the tube, I’ve seen larger caliber rifles that load like tube fed .22s

Henry rifles use a tube like a old 22lr. Its weird but a fun gun. Henry also only just released one that has the side loader but it can still load through the front.

It makes me sick to think that had that ban never happened. The AR would likely not be as popular today. Not that ARs are bad. Its just people will want European rifles. Because they are well built.

built a 350$ AR pistol for my bedside gun. Cheapest possible AR on the market. If I end up killing someone with it I have no problem giving it to the cops. Better this than my other guns. Super fun to shoot too.

Im going to say that. If you have your guns in a safe. The police would need a warrant to confiscate those guns. However they could use the excuse that the shooting warranted a reasonable cause. I still would refuse to open the safe.

Last I shot one, I could never get through a full 6 rounds without a malfunction. After two mags, it disassembled itself mid-magazine. The firing pin sleeve was never recovered.

Nope, no pinky hits. My only real issue with the gun is the ammo, I found an ammo that works perfectly but even trying some of their approved ammo selection I would jam constantly.

First time I ever saw an FNC was on a gun show table next to an AR-10. I had to double take because I thought my brain had gotten mixed up when it told me there was an FAL in 5.56 next to an AR in .308.
