Starting off with the falcon

From dropping bombs on dirt farmers, to shooting down shitty Russian planes, to defending coastlines with anti ship missles, the F16 is no slouch

Now on to the most successful fighter jet in any air force inventory. The F15
>104-0 perfect air to air record
>only aircraft in history to take out a satellite
>can lose an entire wing and get back to base safely
>makes Russians feel incompetent
>newest model can carry 22 AMRAAMs

Attached: 38819CFA-85D6-4309-970B-37D2CF991251.jpg (1200x812, 338K)

Next we have frances jack of all trades. This bad boy takes multirole to a new level. Let’s run down the list of roles France uses the rafale for
>air superiority fighter
>bomber
>anti ship/coastal patrol
>nuclear weapons launch platform
>aerial reconnaissance
Truly a marvelous plane, and one that I’m glad is allied with the US

Attached: 54AFB54D-D6FB-4D16-B07E-CF2D3084F7B0.jpg (780x520, 37K)

Yeah.

>22 AMRAAMs
At that point, isn’t it like putting way too many eggs in one basket?

It most likely will never need that many, but if it did it’s nice to have. The idea is to have a section of F15s acting as missle trucks for F35s in stealth mode that are forward marking targets, and relating data to the F15s.

we ace combat now

WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS?!

Girpen A CUTE. A CUTE

Attached: gripen ng_demo_20080423.jpg (2000x1341, 439K)

Yeah.

Yeah.

I can't stop liking that thing. Wish that more countries would buy it

Vomit

Canada might be next depending on elections. But F-35 would probably take it.

Attached: JAS 39 Gripen Canada.jpg (1200x1800, 1.74M)

So do the Swedes.

While I really like the Gripen and think that it could serve Canada well, I'm unsure if it's the right fighter for them. The F-35 has longer range first of all. Secondly there's no going around the stealth advantage.

Where the Gripen shines IMO is the ability to have a modern fighter with all the latest features, great EW, data link and a decently low RCS BUT low maintenance requrements and the ability to operate from shitty and remote areas with much less support than other fighters (and especially the F-35) needs.
Because of this I think the countries that would benefit the most from Gripens are ones where the potential enemy is close anough that you would expect them to fuck up your airfields and infrastructure, and countries that cant afford to keep pilots' flight hours high in a plane like the F-35. So basically Eastern European countries.

F35s are down to $70 million a pop too. Plus there will be thousands of them, so they will be in production for a long time. There will be a surplus of spare parts and trained mechanics. It’s the smartest move for Canada. That being said a mix of F22s and F15s would be perfect for Canada. As an american i would not mind at all if Canada flew the F22. Canada actually has a crucial role in patrolling up north.

It's far too fugly to be loved.

Not aesthetically pleasing enough to be mentioned. Good plane though

Why would we appreciate garbage

Attached: shilling.jpg (2048x1582, 687K)

I love that pic. Its lack of numbers compared to the American one really highlights the plight of the modern vatnik.

Atleast Russian small arms fan boys have a leg to stand on

>American one is combat records
>Vatnik one is prosaic buzzwords

Really activates the ol' almonds, huh Vlad?

Russia’s inability to field relevant planes never ceases to amaze me

Harrier appreciation time, sadly not in service (in UK) anymore, but still a classic timepiece nonetheless
>first actually successful VTOL fighter aircraft
>Rolls-Royce powerplant same lbf as F-15
>unmatched over the skies of the Falklands
>chad exhaust
>had immensely powerful radar (pulse doppler)
>popular amongst the public, everyone knows the "jump jet"
>Argentines called it "black death"
It was alright, not great now, but good for its time and type

I live near camp lejeune and still see these constantly.

>I live near camp lejeune
Don't drink the water.

Hey Jacksonville bro. I live off of piney green

Okay schlomo, NiG-flug and ZOG chairforce statistics aren't anything to go off of you inbred mutt

Attached: clownpepe.png (512x512, 46K)

Spewing memes doesn't make the poor combat records associated with Russian-built aircraft any less embarrassing.

That you read off of a wikipedia page or burger mutt "news" sources?

Attached: Clownsoviet.png (404x511, 37K)

Clearly you've never seen russian aircraft you amerimutt. Learn what a real plane is. Russian aircraft will always outpreform western aircraft.

F15 is 104-0 against commie planes

Oh yeah i love inflating kdr by shooting down sand people

>i-t...it doesnt count
What makes it really funny is how everyone knows how those vatniks would be all over it if the kill-killed ratio was reversed. Sour grapes in 9000 different sour flavours is what we got here.

You aint getting your rubles if you dont say something about monkey models as well.

But they WERE monkey models with untrained pilots. We both know when russian planes are tiptop shape theyre superior

Wasn't there a whole big engagement when the Soviets sent their pilots to fly Egyptian fighters against Israeli ones, because the Soviets blamed Egypt for poor piloting, and the MiGs still got fucked up?

Yes. Now coping vatniks will tell you that it was an unfair fight, because Israel send their best fighter pilots. They are just a bunch of two faced bitches, that would laugh in your face for making such comments if it were the other way round.

How come Russia can’t shoot down planes like that?

Is this a new pasta

Fake news

They just lie about it through the corporate shills called "news organisations" in the jewnited states of muttmerica

>truth is russophobic

Attached: 1535943804995.png (722x687, 720K)

Pathetic

Russian planes aren’t as good because Russian plane designers live in cramped apartment complexes. Russia will never have a good plane until they adopt a capability system that rewards people for their work. That’s also the same reason why Healthcare in Russia is so shit

Holy shit look at that pile of scrap

I cannot think about a 4th generation that I dislike in terms of aesthetic.

Also here to remind you the existence of the Tornado

Dayim, this thread is nothing but seething and autistic butthurt. Kinda sad that jets are being used as hostages by all these faggots.

Based and Tonka pilled

I can only think of what you posted

I'm disappointed

user, we did not forget. GOATS shouldn't be within 3 posts of vatnik trashcans

Superior plane just passing through ;)

My country has floating airbases lined with F18s. It’s an extremely comfortable feeling

x10 SPAMRAAM F-18C is extremely based, though it sadly hampers performance horribly.

Swiss would already have it, but their pacifists shot it down in referendum. Austria is also likely to replace their Typhoons with Gripen.

I Love F16s. Best plane.

Attached: 1280px-F-16_and_F-16XL_aerial_top_down_view.png (1280x1008, 2.68M)

Heres a closer pic of that weird F16. (Its a F16XL.) I heard it was the competitor of the F15E strike eagle but it lost.

Attached: F-16XL_NASA.png (1001x770, 1.1M)

I like it, but I'm really glad we went with the Strike Eagle.

>F35s in stealth mode that are forward marking targets
the engagement ranges are still the same, the F-15 would have been able to ping and track targets on its own with its own radar if it was close enough to fire on them with AMRAAMs

I mean i can see a budget attack plane being good with people who already bought the f16 because of its superior cost effectiveness. But yea im glad we got the strike eagle.

>too fugly for love

For shame, lads

Imagine that with the diverterless inlet and an F119 afterburning engine off the Raptor.

They put something in it, to make you forget. I don't even remember how I got here.
