Again, if you want to compare Sweden, or Denmark to all of the U.S., you're purposely warping the scale. Compare them to U.S. states of similar size. And in most cases, states of similar size to X country in Europe are either way safer, or comparable. Only a few U.S. states are outliers that are worse off than any nation in Yurop, and those tend to be states that house huge cities run by a certain political party...take a guess...where most of their violence is basically quarantined.
