I mean I'd take the greatest implement of battle ever devised by man over a Mattel-16 any day of the week and twice on sundays.

Heres an assortment. Stg-44, Carcano 1891 Cavalry, Beretta M1938, M14, Hakim, and Vz 52.

I think 30 seconds is the amount of training these guys get in a month

Everyone knows if you put the sight up to the highest point it increases the rifles power.

how the fuck are these stgs so mint looking

Imagine how fucking hard it is for these guys to find ammunition for those things.

countries like Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Yugoslavia, and the USSR had huge stocks of captured or stockpiled StG 44's. I think they got exported to a few third world countries, Syria I believe was one of them.

They weren't that old yet when the picture was taken

I remember reading that when I researched it and I also thought it was funny lol.

There's a bunch of pictures of Zimbabwean park rangers and they've all got various semi-auto Colt ARs. Like not even M16s; fucking SP1s and shit.

Plunging fire in the 21st century, actually pretty ingenious. And I wouldn't think it'd be hard to find ammo. The fact that they're still making it nonwithstanding, as there was probably pallets stacked in whichever armory they liberated it from.

The blood of infidels keeps them looking like new

1978 is pretty far from 1944/45 especially when you're in the hands of some uppity niggers.

The second picture is also the Syrian civil war, no date given but def sometime 2013 - 2018

Faggot

>1978 is pretty far from 1944/45
It's closer to 44 than it is to today.

Winner

Normally, I would defend any tank as "Well it's still a tank and if your enemy only has rifles then you still have a tank." Not sure about an FT though since if the enemy has something in 12.7mm or 14.5mm then they can penetrate it (and the weapons chambered in those would be fairly common.)

Thats still 33 years spent in Eastern German stockpiles and then being passed around like the neighborhood bike until getting put in the hands of some grimey Wakandan warrior

NERD!!!!

It's still produced, and apparently 7.92 Kurz is pretty common over there

That looks like a Houthi, not a Syrian.

Iranians love their "Bernos".

Wait- did he really just fire the gun from outside the tank? Please tell me there’s context.

yeah, you're less likely to get blown up by shitty old soviet ammo or DIY HE shit if you stad outise of the tank.

the contex I that the tank gun tends to blow-up after 45 years of abuse

priv partisan and other places still make 7.92 on the regular

based Ogaden milsurp collectors who oper8 not just larp

So they drive it to wherever, aim, bail out/run away, and then yell at the boot to pull the string? I would pay a lot of money to watch an armor battle between opposing forces who had to do this.

Fucking tight.

There really isnt any armor on armor combat in these african or middle eastern low budget wars. The "tanks" are just used as self propelled artillery.
And IIRC the story with that specific tank was they had to use home made shells with unstable propellant that could explode in the breech, and or/created awful fumes that smoked out the crew.

Underrated

I like how the Russians manufactured the T-34 with the idea that the average lifespan of one would be like six days on the eastern front.

And here they are still zooming in the deserts of the but thole of the earth

That's fucking cool. Imagine the stories that blade could tell.

Browning literally designed gun better than the 1911 but boomers don't know anything other than the guns their dad carried in WW2

Attached: 0f6.jpg (240x297, 12K)

From 1941-43 the average t-34 broke down after 30KM of travelling cross country. They were huge pieces of shit mechanically, but quantity has a quality of its own.
The -85 was really quite a late war product and so was comparably much better quality.

Filipinos are the kings of recycling old milsurp. They still regularly issue M2 carbines and supressed Grease Guns to special forces, as well as M14s and M16a1s to line infantry. Not to mention all the Mad Max shit they do to their vehicles

The Paraguayan Army still uses Stuarts and Fireflies in active duty. The Stuarts were previously delegated to training and and ceremonial use, but were recently recalled due to material shortages in the armored corps.

Honestly i bet parts arent a big problem because the powerplant and transmissions were all GM/Ford stuff that had a very long life of use in civilian and industrial applications.

i...is that foregrip made of a human spine?

Oh my fucking god...

A British Mk. V tank, sent to Russia after WW1 where it was captured by the Soviets and sent to Estonia where it was captured by the Nationalists and used in the Estonian Army until it was captured by the Soviets again and used in their defensive lines during WW2 until it was captured by the Germans after the invasion of Russia where it was taken back to Berlin and used as a training vehicle until it was destroyed during the Battle of Berlin and once again captured by the Soviets.
It is assumed to have been broken down for scrap after the battle.

This is what real feminism looks like. Absolutely based poacher fucker .

Looks like Fred Armisen

>There really isnt any armor on armor combat in these african or middle eastern low budget wars.

Well, fuck. Can we do a gofundme or something? I want to see how the Third World reboot of Kursk would play out.

Holy shit that's badass

your damn right it is

that was some crazy CQC they got on footage

GarandThumb?

now thats real fuckin metal

If the hi power is so much better, why doesn't anybody manufacture them anymore? And no, the roaches don't count.

The closest you'll get is the Arab-Israeli wars of the mid 20th century. WW2 allied tanks mixed with post war soviet stuff. Fielding armor requires a minimum level of infastructure and organization that African countries just dont have.

>Syria
>traditional Yemeni knife
Not saying it's guaranteed to not be Syria, just suspicious

Ammunition was included with the weapons back when the USSR was giving them out to client states. They found the ammo in the same place they found the rifles

KM, I'm glad you still post here. never leave

>which just adds to the general hilarity. We have a bake sale or something, buy like 200 random and assorted tanks. Each tank comes with one combat loadout. Then we have a lottery, pick any 2 hellholes that are currently at war with each other or would like to be. Gift half the tanks to each hellhole, and watch the magic happen. Set it up so we have live and continuous GoPro footage from each crew position, plus the sights.

judging from size it's more likely to be a goat or sheep spine

And how the fuck did I manage to turn that whole post into a greentext, while also omitting the part I wanted to quote

BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD
As a not one step back weapon, the PPSh is the perfect choice for a spooky accessory like that

mah dood Amed there has Iraqi Red Bull.

You're a stand up kinda guy and people count on you for support and backup.

When I was in the PI doing some training (innajungle) I'll never forget being out on the town in the wee hours of the morning drunk as fuck with my buddies and seeing the civilian defense platoons that patrolled the tourist areas with ancient M-14s. This was circa 2009 when the terror threat was high, so the locals made militias that marched around to convince tourists they were safe. Kinda wild to have a hooker under each arm, chasing away little kids selling bootleg Viagra and seeing a squad of grandparents armed like they were straight out of a Nam movie. Also lots and lots of M16's and M4's with the bluing completely worn off.

So youre saying we should all move to the Phillipines?

Because we live in a very cucked world.

Is this that Dutch soldier who went to Syria, then later joined isis and then got killed in a bombing?

well spotted, agree, this is yemen

No proof that he didn't genuinely believe he'd pop hots at max range setting. Post proof of that belief.

I bought a used hipoint once

Isn't the cz75 still in production?

Still my favorite

Does the chatellerault m24/29 even count, like it may not have the nicer ergonomics of something like a BREN but damn did it stick around.

Theres one African county that only in total have about 4 auto rifles, the rest are bolt action French and British ones.

There was a famous stockpile of 5000 that was captured recently.
