My dad had a pig farm when he wa sin his 20's, he knew a lady that disposed of extra food from different events, were talking mashed potatoes, spaghetti, etc, the trash bags were filled to the brim, he said that he would just dump everything on the feeding tray/thing of the pigs and they'd start chomping, not half an hour later, he'd come back to clean forks and toothpicks the pigs found in the food and somehow spat out.

Not really, I’m having a friend raise one for me for a big bbq in the fall. The piglet cost $80 I believe and a 50lb bag of corn is around $12 form a local feed mill. But you need to raise more than one as they can get lonely.

Not likely. Standard ammo doesn't do much to hogs that size. They've come out with some ammo types designed for them. They're usually fully jacketed slugs.
