Looking to the Falklands War, a cut rate navy like Argentina can do serious damage to a major power like England. China's navy is powerful enough that there would be casualties on both sides but how bad would it be? Assuming no nukes.

A quick google search tells me that although China now has more total ships, the US has roughly 3 million more tons of ship. That is an absolutely ASTOUNDING firepower advantage, to say nothing of range. China has no capability to project force outside their territorial waters (i.e. the bugmen literally do not possess the logistical or technological capability to invade the US mainland at this time) and even if they did, the sheer amount of missiles that asspounded their transport ships would look like a death scene in a goddamn Mel Brooks movie. The complete and utter destruction of the Chinese surface navy would be measured in hours or days, not weeks. Their only redeeming value is that they have nuclear armed submarines to serve as a deterrent, but even then the best they can hope for is to cause an international tragedy before most of their cities are annihilated by a retaliation strike.
...and the worst part about this is, sooner or later it'll be put to the test and the seething europoors will STILL talk shit even after China is fully and conclusively dominated, because no matter how objectively superior America is, no matter how much its consumer economy helps their nation, people the world over still hate us cuz they ain't us.

Considering the fact that the US was shuttling huge amounts of military supplies across the Atlantic by 1939, I doubt it. Who knows, though, the Germans weren’t exactly the best military planners. So far, the only case that allows China to attempt to invade the US is through hiding troops in container ships before the war starts, which is some Tom-Clancy tier bullshit.

I think that may depend on how the war happens, though. US responding to an attempted invasion of Taiwan? Definite support from American ethnic Chinese. An aggressive war of conquest against mainland China? Might see some issues.

Argentina and the UK were on roughly the same level equipment and experience wise, and the ability of the Brits to project power was strained to its limit. Between the US and China there is simply no comparison, as the US has more forces forward deployed in the western pacific than the UK and Argentina had combined in the falklands war, and the the comparative number of expeditionary troops and supporting transport/logistics train available to China is pathetic.
If it was a purely naval engagement you’d see the Chinese losing ships and planes left and right. The Taiwanese would go into porcupine mode, the japs and Koreans would either do the same or actively assist the US by protecting US rear areas. Fighting would end when the Chinese cried uncle or the US got bored.
None of that will happen though, because the economic damage the Chinese would incur against themselves would be devastating.

Invasion California had the Chinese slowly draw Mexico into such a massive debt trap that it was basically their colony. America's influence a was so weak at that point, that the military buildup could not be stopped diplomatically.

Secondly, of all the immigrants I've spoken to (that includes those who are here on student or work visas who will eventually be returning to China and long term, been here for a while immigrants), I have met only 1 single person who was a die hard "China numbah wan" piece of shit out of hundreds upon hundreds of chinks who've immigrated that I've met.
He hated America, wanted to leach off American resources/schools, get an expensive degree then fuck off back to China to make money. The rest of them, whether from China, Taiwan, or Singapore, all of them had remarkably positive things to say about America. They enjoy the individual liberties, the cleanliness (China is dirty and disgusting in case you really didn't know), the economic freedoms. What I gather from the vast majority of these immigrants is a sense of pity. They see what illegal Mexican immigrants and wild niggers and their chimpouts are doing to the US welfare system/tax payers/effect on crime and total cost of living. They feel saddened that the majority of American leaders and politicians not only don't see this as a problem, but think of it positively. Most of these chinks, before they came to America, thought this was a 99% white country in which everyone was rich and had vast opportunities. When instead they came here to discover that the streets are filled often with more homeless people than in Asia, and a huge class of illegal aliens who speak worse English than they do and are confronted with dangerous niggers who despite making up 13% of the population cause 75% of the crime, they're thunder struck. You gotta remember, Asia is a largely homogeneous country. So when Asians come here, they're shocked and saddened that America's white people have allowed it to fall so much.
