nitride has to be done at a specific point in the barrel making process because itll fuck up your heat treat and potentially warp the barrel. and no gunsmith is going to chrome your barrel

I couldn’t imagine spending that much on a single gun personally. I’ve always been the type to buy a weapon and upgrade the things that matter to me on it. Generally that’s the handguard, trigger, charging handle, stock, rear irons, and buying an optic.

I bought the best 'cheap' handle sight and it was shit and had to spend $70 to get a decent one (maybe they exist for $50).
