You should never have only one gun, but I have a sp101 and it’s great.

Delusion

Perfectly fine only gun, as long as you enjoy shooting it.

Nah. You could do better but sp101s are great and I love the 3inch model.

I'd go for a slightly longer barrel like one of Ruger's 4.2 inchers It will be more comfortable to shoot.

Lol

Git gp100 r-tard

Way sexier than the rugers. What models are those?

gp100 is the size of a sw 686, an sp101 is smaller more geared towards carrying one

More geared to being a faggot.
5 shot revolvers are trash.

Are you even old enough to buy a gun?

I have a 3 inch, .357 for catty. Its Ay Oh Kay. Would it be my first choice for an only gun? Idk prolly not. It's a fine choice though.

>t. drops shots habitually

>As big as a K frame
>heavier than one
>5 shots

Can always get it in .327 Federal if it matters that much to you.

Relatively uncommon 3" model 10s. Most of them you see are cut down 4" guns like pic related.

Why would I get it I'm a meme round? I'm not a snowflake.

A better option

>He doesn't carry a 629

No, it’s a good option if you only have one gun.

But you should have more than just one gun, user.

finding the ammo is such a pain or so expensive.

I have one of those. As far as SP101s go, the 3" is the best size. The 4.2" is a bit too long to easily conceal and the 2.25" doesn't give as good ballistics when using .357 magnum or even .38 special +p. As far as it being an only gun goes, why only one? This would be a good first gun, or even a good only handgun, but you should get a shotgun or ar15 to go in addition to this.

>2.25" doesn't give as good ballistics
That's why you get the .327.

the smiths are much prettier but are either too big, don't handle recoil as well, or are unobtanium rare and cost many hundreds of dollars more, like the compensated models good ol SHIT27fed

>don't handle recoil as well

The closest not-luxury-gun I could find to the SP101 in smith's lineup is the attached 60 Pro which is a steel 3" J frame, but everyone says it's a bitch to fire hot rounds out of. The 66 Combat Magnum handles recoil well, but is expensive and huge. There's also the 586 LComp and the 19 CarryComp but theyre over 1000usd.

literally prove me wrong, what in smith's lineup is better than the SHITger SP101 for in-waistband every day 357 carry.

>what in smith's lineup is better than the SHITger SP101 for in-waistband every day 357 carry.

Apparently you can't afford the things in Smith's lineup that are better than the SP101 so what's the point?

It will be most just as easy to carry a GP100 4.2". Or look into a Ruger LCRx3 which will be lighter.

4.2 is ever so slightly too long to conceal comfortably but I make it work

bup

You left out a key piece of info for our consideration OP:
Are you planning on CC'ing it?

yeah

Revolvers are only carried by people who never intend on using them.

3" is your best bet, I find the 4.2" just a bit too long
it interacts very strongly with my balls
