Good starter AR?

Good starter AR?

I'm stuck between the MP 15 Sport 2 and the Ruger 556.

Help bros, a boomer told me PSA is bad for building yourself and I am unsure as to what to do!

I find the menthol cigs the most offensive part of that pic. Menthol subhumans get out reeee

Are you calling black people subhuman? 99% of all menthol smokers are black.

Crush is alright. If you're not feeling menthol you can just not pop the bead. I'm not a huge fan of menthol either but the crush isn't really all that bad.

i wanna hit that bong

556 MPR

AR556 is a good starter. I bought mine years ago as my first AR and it runs great 15k rounds later, same bolt and barrel. Only thing I have replaced is the buffer tube spring and the handgaurd (plastic broke, replaced with cheap chinesium quad rail for muh M4 aesthetics. Now I lend it out to kids or my family when I go shooting.
The camel tobacco sucks, filter, menthol, or not. I smoked american spirits for a while, some dark greens and blacks got in the mix but I have since ascended to LSMFT gang.

Its my moms favorite gun. She is a better operator than 90% of you nerds.

Either will be fine for a first ar. I have the sw and it’s been great. I’m pretty sure you will find the ruger cheaper most of the time. They both run about $600 depending on where you buy it.

Yes

Had to overspend for my first AR because Maryland is South Africa, but I wanted the Smith Sport II real bad. Is the Ruger AR 5.56 the piston one?

Gas piston model is the SR556 and is discontinued which is fine because it didn't work so well. The AR556 is DI and works with just about any ammo. It is overgassed and carbine length, which is fine, people complain about nothing. Reliability is always way more important than longevity and in my experience I haven't seen any more unexpected wear in overgassed ARs, as long as the metalurgy is good.

>le funny boring thread with off-topic shitpost OP imange

I want to fuck your mom.

>thinking you'd be the one penetrating

... I would let your mom peg me.

Would that still make you his step-dad tho?

I would definitely let his mom peg me.

I built a PSA AR as my first AR and I had never handled an AR before that. Only needed pliers and a locally bought lower. It was easy as shit and interesting.

I have an M&P, it's pretty good. Only thing I'd suggest is changing the handguard as it doesn't have any heat shielding.

Don't fall for the S&W/Ruger AR15 fudd meme. It's not 2010 anymore. We have much better choices for cheaper prices these days. Build or buy one of PSA's already built ARs. Preferably with a mlok rail handguard.

Ruger always, but get the Ruger 556 MPR
