Anyone wear an ankle holster? I started a new job, and ended up on second shift. Not only am I second shift, I'm also literally the last guy in the building, alone for over an hour. I typically wear jeans and a tshirt. And am required to wear an 8" toe and metatarsal protecting boot. It's warehouse type work, but for the first several hours of my shift I interface with front office personnel. I dont think I coukd get away with anything at the waistband, or even pocket carry (maybe with one of those covers that squares the pistol off?) as I need to have use of my pockets to carry items I use throughout the shift.

So an ankle holster seems like the best course of action. Anyone have any experience with them? I want something thats going to go above the top of thw boot, so basically mid calf level, and needs to be secure.

I can with the same bullet and powder charge (65gr Lehigh Xtreme Defenders and Power Pistol) achieve 2kfps in the 29 for conceal carry, 2.5kfps in a 40 for open carry, and 3kfps in a 16" 9x25 AR all using the same mags and there are 30 rounders for 9x25 Dillon now.

Because the BC for 9mm bullets is trash and I would say even with 3k fps out of a 16" 9x25 Dillon AR I wouldn't really trust it to hit where you want much past 100 yards. But I like the idea of a 2.5kfps fanny pack pistol that easily defeats all soft body armor and overcomes human tissue elasticity to create permanent wound channels like a rifle instead of only wounding with crushing and temporary stretch cavities like normal pistols.

OH also because 357sig is a higher pressure round it performs better in shorter barrels so unless your carry a glock 20 or longer the 357sig is the right choice unless your going for cross compatability like I am then 9x25 Dillon is cool.
