SBR Charger VS VZ61

How lethal would a Ruger Charger with an 8" barrel firing CCI Velocitors be? compared to say a .32 or even a .380 VZ61?

Airsoft belongs in
>>toy

Literally not airshit, it's a Charger in a PMACA chassis.

I literally just pumped a 25 rnd butler creek into my chest.
Not airsoft my ass.

It's .22, might as well be airsoft, or do I dare even say as dangerous as paintball?

A take down charger with a silencer, folding brace, and detachable 1-6 is super quiet, compact, and accurate enough to 100 yards. Hard to mount an optic on a vz

>wasting 200 dollars on a stamp for a sbr 22

>Jow Forums is slowly reaching the point were even actually firearm discussion is frowned upon

Not everyone is poor.

IIRC. 22LR kills more people each year than any other caliber in the US.
Would you want to get shot with one? No.
The issue isn't deadliness, it's "would it stop someone" which can be an extremely difficult question to answer even with large calibers because shot placement is a huge part of effectiveness.
Essentially the answer is
>.22 is potentially very deadly

A folding stocked, full-giggle, integrally suppressed 10/22 SBR is my dream plinker.
BRRRT

velocitor .22 in 6" = 40gr @ 1210 fps
corbon .32 in 4.5" = 60gr @ 1190 fps
b.b .380+P in 4.5" = 90gr @ 1230 fps

What do you hope to gain by going with rimfire?

I assume you're comparing semi-auto Charger to semi-auto Skorpions, but if not, full-auto makes a big difference, too.

>cucking to big daddy government, defacto registering your firearm and paying $200 for the privilege of modifying your firearm with big daddy gubmint's permission
It's not about the $200 you fucking moron

>i merely pretending

Exactly not everyone is poor
But not everyone is stupid enough to be put on a federal registry, like you numbnuts.

plenty lethal, the primary issue with rimfire isn't power, it's reliability. Rimmed cartridges don't work well with box magazines.

Enjoy being on a federal registry list jackass. And if you think $200 is a lot, you need a better job than McDonalds

>hurr durr you're wasting your money
I have enough money that I can spend it on frivolous things so I do.
>hurr durr it's not even about that, it's about the gubmint
I pay my taxes and drive the speed limit. I also have enough income to have land and machine tools so if it goes south tomorrow, I still have lots of options. Any other complaints you'd like to bring up? It sure is nice to be white and affluent.

>It sure is nice to be white and affluent.
Not until you get Daniel Shaver'd.
Remember who polices you user, it's not guys like us.
Please make better choices.

So in your mind, better choices is openly talking about felonious civil disobedience on a monitored board? If I was privy to such things, i certainly wouldn't advertise or advocate it among strangers. That's the sort of thing I would talk about only among friends in a private setting. In the mean time, I'll be enjoying my registered NFA items in public or private with no fear whatsoever.

>better choices is openly talking about felonious civil disobedience on a monitored board?
Strawman, I've never said this, this is suicide.
>I'll be enjoying my registered-
Stop right there, enjoying guns is for fags
I know what I'm dealing with now, please buy more stamps.
Bread and circus is all you need.

I got bad news for you kid if your posting on fucking Jow Forums you are already on the list.

Hope you never bought a gun with a 4473 or intend too because... list

Or a CCW permit, again a list.

>on the list.
Not Federal
>the 4473
Paper only, gone after a period of time
>CCW permit
Again not Federal.
Don't cave to the feds.

I forgot to answer OPs question.

Two Stamp SBR 22s are the best shit ever.

I have a 4.5 10/22 and a 4.5 MP15/22 and a 10 inch contender 22 (SBR as well)

They are all fucking awesome, though the Contender is more enjoyable with the .30-30 .357 or .300 blackout barrels shooting subsonics, pretty cool in .22 as well.

I’m saving for a Norell pack right now for the 10/22 then I’ll be happy, and it would unironically be my 1 gun.

.22 and .32 have similar velocity
Thirty two is a heavier bullet by a large margin 32 is also more reliable since its rim fire
.22 is cheaper and more readily availabe
The vz skorpion will be a more compact package
Theyre different use cases

As if the NSA and FBI isn’t all over this board, especially thanks to Snacks faggotry back in /b forever ago.

>As if the NSA and FBI isn’t all over this board
I wouldn't worry about it user.

Oh don't let me interrupt your intense 5 day a week training sessions or your weekends volunteering at your local Republican/Libertarian/Socialist party headquarters. I for one make it a point to send a letter to my state and local representatives twice a month advocating for the dismantling of gun legislation, donate to the political candidates I think will further our cause and work with my church to improve the lives of underprivileged whites in my area. What do you do to improve your life or the lives of those around you? "prebbun fo duh habbenin" is not a valid response. Your lone wolf fuck everyone including the gubmint mentality does nothing for anyone. Wake up, grow up and get active. Getting yourself caught in your basement with your oil can suppressors and coat hanger lightning links only hurts our cause and adds to statistics for the grabbers.

tfw no 22 magnum 10/22

They existed once.

Also Volquartsen and Magnum Research still do them

Savage makes a delayed blowback .22 WMR and .17 HMR rifle, btw.

i like how these kids think they are not already on some gov lists and that purchasing a tax stamp some how outs you more as a gun owner, they they post on a weapons discord thats been linked to hundreds of autism induced fuck ups around the globe.

YOU ARE ALREADY ON MULTIPLE LISTS

>siri tell those fags on Jow Forums they're stupid for sharing their personal information with the govt.
>siri make a reminder i have spooper skeekret militia meeting with my chubby buddies in moms basement tonight
>alexa order dominoes for me and my buddies while we talk about how much we hate big brubber
>I'm so gonna talk about how stupid everyone on Jow Forums is on twitch later
It's unbelievably comical.

Bingo.

If you post on basic bitch gunboards or social media groups you are on the list. Yes even barfcom and fuddroad, yes even your boomer faceberg group or discord server.

Everyone is on a list if you have an interest in guns.

Hope they never bought anything offline either.

It's literally impossible to be gray now.

Just for guns you and the family would have never had to buy anything with a 4473.

Then all your ammo a d accessories would have to be bought in person with cash.

Then you could never talk about it except in person, especially never online.

The trick is to not be on the red list.

I'm gonna build me one of these. This could serve the same roll as the vz61. Come the goog, it would make for a nice stopgap to get to a rifle.

Hello Fort Meade nigger how are you?

380 but 22 will be quieter.

the way forward is to promote firearms ownership. is everyone's on the list, the list becomes useless. make sure to take random nogunz shooting

Ruger charger's use the same barrels as 10/22s right?

What's the best battery free optic for these?

>This could serve the same roll as the vz61.
It could combine the ease of carry of a pistol (i.e. fits in belt holster) with the 3-point stability and practical accuracy approaching a carbine/smg? Post your proposed holster, pls.

The only thing they actually have in common is a light-recoiling cartridge that would make them controllable in full-auto, but that's the one thing that doesn't matter, because Hughes amendment.

Based and skinwalker pilled

Yes same barrel and vblock

I use a 3x prism on my 9" takedown

IMO the benifits of a red dot fat outweigh the negatives of having to use a battery, especially if on a QD mount with irons. However, if you live in a place that has 100% humidity 24/7, or is so cold it will sap your battery life too fast, I reccomend any of the several fiber optic iron sights. I WOULD reccomend a battery free RDS such as a meprolight but that seems like a waste of a $400 optic. 1x prismatic optic maybe? Of course, that runs into issues with eye relief...

I think this is a great application for the Romeo 5 or equivalent Primary Arms or Holosun, they basically have near Aimpoint level battery life off of of common CR2032 watch batteries and are plenty durable for a 22.

Magnification is also kinda pointless with 22 as well, unless hunting or long range shooting with it 200+ yards.

Red Dots will easily get you to 100 unless you have eye issues.

JMHO

Absolute trash in terms of terminal ballistics. No point in owning one when cheap AR-15s exist unless you really love the idea of wasting .22lr.

Shot placement matters far more than what cartridge you're shooting. An AR, PCC, or shotgun are obviously superior, but a reliable semi auto .22lr is still plenty formidable. The biggest problem with .22lr isn't that it has shit ballistics (unless you're using .22lr as your DMR lol), but that it doesn't function well with box mags.

If you get a load functioning reliably .22 is still very effective, especially when compared to any non-firearm. Poachers use suppressed/subsonic .22lr all the time on large game, for this exact reason.

No shit .22 is capable you fucking retard, my point was entirely in response to OP's post, which if you actually read, would've made you realized made your generic commonsense post completely irrelevant.

>reads entire threads on Jow Forums

What are you even saying? Op asked a question and not a single person in the thread gave him a direct answer until I did.

I only really want a pistol 10/22 receiver; don't need the rest of the parts. who makes the best one?

Only one I have experience with is the Brownells one, and I like it just fine.

>how does it compare to .32/.380
>Buy an AR

Truly a font of knowledge, much more helpful than

deadliest rounds would be the cci fragmenting

You have never hunted squirrels

Why does everyone put these heavy bull barrels on these ultra compact 22s? Wouldn't a light weight sporter profile barrel make more sense? Those chode barrels probably add a whole extra 16oz to the gun.

Attached: 35554566810_bb67d15f46_b.jpg (1024x622, 118K)

You have never read posts you're replying to.
>unless hunting

Not necessarily.

The only reason why Reagan lived was his assassin used similar bullets and they didn't penetrate deeply enough to damage significant portions of the body.

Now, if you are shooting squirrels or woodchucks, or trash pandas.. sure fragmenting is the way to go.

If you wanna shoot something... bigger, quietly subsonic FMJ is pretty much the only thing that will get you the penetration you need.

If you don't care about loud, the argument starts and ends with Mini-Mags and Velociters.

Aesthetics, look at he step down of the barrel to the can with your pic. Bullbarrels are damn near flush.

exactly what this user said, perhaps you ought to work on Reading Comprehension on your break from School?

>Paper only, gone after a period of time
20 years, yep you're not on a 'list'

In theory, could you buy a charger and normal 10/22 both take down models, and mix-and-match?

does anyone make iron sights for these? maybe a rail mounted option, standard AR sights would probably be too tall.

What is Jow Forums's opinion on these under-folding 10/22 stocks?

How's the cheek weld? The 15 degree drop seems really steep, but it's hard to tell without actually handling one.

the ACTUAL state of poorfagposters

wondering this too

>How's the cheek weld
from my experience with folders of all kinds of folders (E. German AK, underfold AK, topfold mossy mav, sidefolder Mini14), they are universally shit-tier for cheek weld.

Underfolders are generally pretty shit.

>folders are generally pretty shit

Side folders at least can have a proper cheek rest.

Do this with troy micro sights

Does someone else make short rail mounted iron sights?
