I'm curious about this too because the ones we get at work are dogshit.
That said, >>/QTDDTOT/

Ive seen a few utubes and some complain about the strap digging into the back of your knee of certain models...

I imagine the only kind of knee pad that isn't annoying to wear is one that's custom tailored into your pants. That way you can strap them up loose and they want slide down your leg.

I'll tell you right now that the strap-digging problem is going to happen on almost any pair when you first start wearing kneepads but it goes away after a couple of weeks of consistent wear

The single strap dosent dig and attaches below knee so it dosent shift much. There comfy (I use them at work all day) they don't have a hard face so they don't slide but they can be damaged. Poor fag approved.

Queston/suggestion: I have a set of these at work and I love them because they use solid rubber straps instead of elastic cloth like most off the knee pads I've used before. The rubber is incrediibly grippy, it will rip out leg hair and rub your legs raw should you try to use them in shorts. But the grip means they stay up fantastically without being too tight. Only problem is that the catch comes undone too easily. Anyone know of a rubber strapped knee pad that has a better locking method?

Came here to post this. I never used my issue knee pads except once when I had to. They're hot and bulky get these.

I use my acu and bdu types for home projects and they work ok. I had them issued 2003 or so for the bdu ones and 2012 or so for acu.

Both are almost the same design and neither are perfect, but I have worn them for hours at a time and they were decently comfortable.

Pants material does bunch up at the straps, but it’s easy to adjust. You don’t need a lot of tension to keep them in place.

I used them in the field as well and they worked fine out there.

I would recommend these types if you can find them for a good price.

I would try Navy gear, since their kneepads probably see the most use.
