Whats going on with these fudd fuckers? Why are people in a tizzy? Are GOA/2AF able to take up the slack?

The TL:DR is that as an 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, they are doing/did a lot of stuff that would get other nonprofits, like, oh, anime conventions, in deep deep trouble.

On the other hand, still a rage magnet for the left

So whats going on with lapierre? Is this some astoturf campaign against him?

I've clearly stepped into a sore subject here

Speaking from my own experience doing volunteer work for a nonprofit corporation.

LaPierre is *not* in an elected position, at some point he was APPOINTED as "Executive Director" to run the NRA full-time instead of the elected NRA President. This means he cannot be removed without the Board of Directors voting on it, and good luck with that.

What really activated the almonds was that the NRA was paying a Public Relations firm (Ackerman-McQueen, aka AcMac) a crapton of money, which they were using to pay for LaPierre's lifestyle. In return, LaPierre would always make sure AcMac's contracts kept getting renewed.

Poor damn dumb Oliver North tried to fix the NRA, but simply didn't have the political backing

>fix
What needed fixing and what was Oliver North doing?
I mean personally, I'd appreciate it if the NRA didn't constantly cuck on stuff at the Federal level. Was that what North was trying to fix?

My apologies for the duplicate posting.

There were other issues of "self-dealing" among the NRA Board of Directors in the form of contracts from the NRA being awarded to the companies they owned. They were probably none to happy with Oliver North trying to upset their apple cart.

Also came out after Sandy Hook, AcMac sent LaPierre on a nice Caribbean vacation in return for him okaying their rather aggressive plan to go on the offensive and blame Hollywood/videogames for the shooting and point out the hypocrisy of Obama's kids going to a school with armed guards

Attached: 1521951394392.jpg (2048x1536, 433K)

>take up the slack

What slack? The gap in the market for a fake civil rights organization that collects money to buy its' CEO suits while fucking over the morons stupid enough to give them the money?

That Wayne LaPierre was doing things that could lead to the destruction of the NRA and that there was no control over him. He's running the NRA how he wants and has been since his appointment, and his way is not always what the members want. Hint hint. You'll also notice Chris Cox is gone. Hint.

Imma break it down for you

Wayne LaPierre was APPOINTED the "Executive Director" of the NRA, which gives him a lot of power, in particular to oversee contracts.

He let out a HUGE one with PR firm Ackerman-McQueen (AcMac)

AcMac, in return, flies LaPierre everywhere, basically covers all his life's expenses, and takes him shopping in Hollywood for new suits

Oliver North figured out that this is really not the best way to spend their funds, so he tried to get the Board of Directors to oust LaPierre

But a fair chunk of the other Board Members were also getting perks (such as contracts awarded to companies they owned) so they really didn't want to stop the gravy train.

Chris Cox, the Chief Lobbyist, apparently had something to do with this as well, and resigned rather than be removed

Attached: 1521948426248.jpg (1024x768, 248K)

so the point is ultimately to replace the Board Members then?

I guess the mob is angry that the knight fails to protect her from being raped yet the knight still demands praise?

>totally not a shill thread

not everything you don't like is shill thread friendo. I first heard about this Wayne LaPierre shit on Jow Forums and most people seemed pro him and glad Oliver North got shitcanned, suspecting it to be a takeover attempt by the left.
Recently though looks like a lot of people are pissed at the NRA. So here we are.

Attached: 1562424823834.png (369x456, 313K)

Ultimately, but its not like a lot of NRA members actually mail in their ballot, and its also not like they fully disclose if they have NRA contracts.

Oliver North is a more-recognized name than Wayne LaPierre, and Chris Cox is the political power behind the throne; *combined* they failed to take out LaPierre

Unless its Ted Nugent, I really don't see a Board insurgency happening

Attached: Consider.jpg (1280x720, 338K)

Just NRA shills upset everyone's caught on to their "getting paid by both sides negotiating rights away" scheme

Amazingly, the left is heeding Napoleon in not interrupting an enemy in the middle of making a mistake

Attached: 1521951745515.jpg (1536x2048, 634K)

How is demanding the NRA actually start taking the 2nd Amendment seriously and not just being a TV channel for dumb boomers a mistake?

Later versions of the quote say "Never get in the way of an enemy who is self-destructing" which is probably more accurate in this situation.

If any anti-gun group went on the offensive now, everyone would rally around LaPierre and there would be a strong reaction.

Attached: 1522335583598.jpg (451x600, 89K)

I fucking wish we had leftist delusion NRA

Truth

Attached: 1521947675792.jpg (500x395, 65K)

well clearly if they want the NRA to remain a limp sack of bullshit, they should attack now and get people to rally around LaPierre

the gun control groups need the NRA to be their bogeyman so they can continue fundraising off them. So long as their members are scared of the big meanie poo-poo head NRA, they will keep volunteering and donating

Attached: 1522334922745.jpg (600x450, 66K)

So..we done beating this dead horse?

Attached: 1521956131218.jpg (1429x2000, 287K)

They took down Voldemort’s government with deadly weapons tho... Funny how in th books, all the students and teachers are armed

I dunno who's more cringe, NRA ebegging for everyones money and then buttfucking our rights away or the fucks who protest them who also vote our rights away.

Aside from being insufferable, Harry Potter fans only know Trump == Voldemort and don't even critically analyze their reality

Attached: 1522337612599.jpg (1024x1024, 405K)

and gotta post the other part of the Harry Potter Megamix, which usually garners some observations about that protest sign towards the upper right side

Attached: 1522337629714.jpg (1024x1024, 400K)

NAAGA will take over
NRA Dindu nuffin

Attached: attack_Helicopter.png (208x178, 11K)

Thanks for the assist.

Also, reminder the left doesn't care what gun organization you belong to, they just don't want you to have guns, period

Attached: 1526752742805.jpg (720x720, 93K)

>GOA/2AF able to take up the slack
Are you fucking retarded? The ONLY effective way to prevent bad gun laws is lobbying. GOA/2AF has NONE! ZERO! ZILCH!
Lawsuits alone can take DECADES to overturn bad laws, and sometimes not even decades are enough.
NRA is the sole reason why you can still own guns today. And especially """"assault"""" weapons.
This is why jews and anti-gunners have such a massive hard-on for defeating and vilifying the NRA.

PS: GOA shills and NRA detractors are nothing more than idiot goyim.

>Whats going on with these fudd fuckers?
boomers and fudds woke up from their comas
>Why are people in a tizzy?
turns out in addition to not doing shit for gun rights, they actively light their donors on fire
>Are GOA/2AF able to take up the slack?
no. also GOA is similarly useless and i'm sad to see people unquestioningly shift their neetbux to them. if anyone saves us it will be SAF/FPC, in 20 years, maybe, and only assuming RBG leaves the bench within the next few years

Attached: 21fsnu8zllo21.jpg (1079x1323, 274K)

>turns out in addition to not doing shit for gun rights, they actively light their donors on fire
meant to say "donors money" here, although i suspect boomers would be able to rationalize either scenario

Also, looks like the Zoomers are paying attention to the Woke Parkland Teens

Attached: 1521942720133.jpg (746x739, 175K)

Honestly, if you can't legally vote or legally do porn, you shouldn't be allowed to protest. I'd literally donate $15,000 to someone who could pass a law preventing minors from ever taking part in protests again.

Attached: 1559694942819.jpg (1668x1612, 944K)

So if the only way is lobbying, and for some reason only the NRA can lobby, why have they achieved jack shit.

>why have they achieved jack shit
nigger,. the only reason why CA/NY/NJ style laws are not widespread and "the norm" across the country is the NRA-ILA lobbying. THE ONLY REASON!

Attached: 1521942806991.jpg (1029x1372, 302K)

I heard Firearms Policy Coalition is better than both

NRA lobbies for the industry, not your 2A rights. Donate to Trump 2020, buy your local ICE agent a donut, more Russian ammo, really anything else.

So I'm confused, are you the user trying to push for support of the NRA or not? You are explaining things that makes me not want to support the NRA until they kick LaPierre out and also change the board of directors if they allowed this to all happen.

ITT
millennials coping

the reason why we're losing is because we're not taking advantage of zoomers
zoomers dont have jobs or anything of the sort, so it boosts protest numbers as they have a higher chance of attending

Attached: :DDDDDDD.jpg (300x300, 13K)

They disguised their intent by asking what was going on with the NRA then subtly shifting to other pro-2A groups

Just remember this little gem from Saul Alinsky "Power is what you have, plus what your enemy thinks you have"

Attached: 1521942793664.jpg (1029x1372, 343K)

I guess a little elbow grease and lead could fix that, huh?

>fucking leuchtpistole

>We read 1984 and animal farm!
If you were at this event, clearly your reading comprehension skills suck

Indeed

Attached: 1521949603925.png (388x388, 335K)

Looks like we beat this dead horse

Not NRA but wanted to throw it out there
