No

What is the best (be it stopping power, ease of use, or sturdiness) antique handgun? (anything thats classified as antique in most countries)

3k civic with simple mods

is cheaperthandirt reliable? really want a cz 457 lux and they have it cheap af

your gf is a poor nigger

They pissed off a lot of people a few years ago during the scare when they cancelled peoples orders and hiked the price of magazines to astronomical levels

surprisingly yeah. people are mad at them for overpricing/scalping but they do sell items reliably. its not a scam or anything.

It's a functioning knife.

C&R? 1911. Old as shit but still using smokeless powder? 1911.

Should I get a Nikon Superdot for $100 or a Sig Romeo 5 for $115?

A Colt new service or new army.

You should not get any Sig optic.

Nice digits.
What's wrong with them? I thought they were rebranded Holosun which I've heard are good for the price.

It's a decent knife. I don't care for the half serrations personally, but I carried a SOG daily for 8+ years and never had any major complaints.

Be happy you have a gf that bought you a knife. Mine got me a knife for my birthday too and most of the board just bitched about the news that run the company. The board is really declining, especially in the summer and not at night.

solid knife

I demand serrations!

SOGs are good and I personally like that blade profile quite a lot.

1911, Colt New Army. Or Remington 1858 converted to accept 45acp.

Had a custom sheath made for one. A week later it snapped in half. Piece of shit knife. Don't let the step up from chinese mystery steel fool you.

gun.deals/search/apachesolr_search/02301

But how did it snap in half?

What is that rectangular bump out on the left side of an AR upper for?

Building my first AR and bought this barrel during their 4th of July sale. It arrived today covered in a gritty factory grease (filled with metal filings). What's the best way to clean this off before installation?
Also is regular lubricant enough to protect the threads or do I really need proper grease?

You're going to need to be more specific. Are you talking about the brass deflector behind the ejection port?

Brass deflector.

This thing.

I know we've discussed this to hell in this board but can anyone state how war can be bad for the economy? Asking for a friend.

I'd buy it just for a wall hanger

Every single word on that listing is a red flag. Wouldn't even hang on a wall, that's what pretty things are for. What the fuck, user?

Worthless garbage.

Looks like pure shit

It’s bad in the long run.
To find a war, especially a prolonged war, governments must borrow money from central banks (in almost every country they are privately owned, not operated by the government). To do so the government issues bonds which are essentially promises that by the time the bond matures the government will have enough money to buy back the bond with interest (sort of like a loan). To pay for the bond the central bank prints money backed by nothing which enters circulation when spent by the government. The increase in the money supply leads to inflation of prices because the relative value of a dollar (or whatever currency that country uses) decreases.
Some countries may be so burdened by bond debt that they must issue more bonds to pay the interest on existing bonds. Think of someone making out a credit card, then transferring the balance to another card, which maxes that card, and so on.
This is very over simplified and I’ve probably made a few mistakes in my explanation, but there are hundreds of YT videos that explain the process better than I can.

better than my camillus walmart knife

If your plate carrier has no molle, is it okay to wear a chest rig over it for mags or what's the best solution?

Does the CMMG .22 LR bolt work with the LAW tactical folder?

Attached: cmmg bolt.jpg (1280x720, 54K)

You should be so lucky faggot. Asking a bunch of foreveralones to rate your girlfriend. Pathetic.

Why do they market "AR Pisotk Lowers"? Is it just so they can market AR pistol brace combos w/ the lower or is there a legal difference between an AR lower and an "AR Pistol" lower?

Legal difference. Pistol lower can be either but a rifle lower must be a rifle.

Pretty sure they dont because you cannot attach the BCG extenstion onto the .22 bcg. It might work if you can figure out a way to put something else in that space to keep the bcg from moving.

>wife wants a house gun
>has no interest in my rifles because they're relatively big for her. they arent big, its an sks and a mossberg 500.
>wont listen to reason about getting a long gun for a house gun.
>wants a smol gun, just for her.
im gonna take her to my favorite gun store, and let her hold some pistols. im thinking:
>lcp 2
>sig p365
>glock brand glock 43
>any snub .38
>makarov
>shield in .380
>xds in 9mm
any other recommendations for tiny hands new to pistols?

What camo is this?

Does anyone know of a site where I can buy a Scepter 5 gallon fuel can that isn't either price-jewed or beat to shit? inb4 "just go to Leafland faggot". Alternatively, how dangerous would it be to paint one of their red 5 gallon "EE-PEE-AY approved" cans with some od green rustoleum or someshit?

>tiny hands new to pistols
tiny guns are not good for new shooters

Look at the Shield EZ 380. It's made for girls.

she wont listen.

the EZ 380 is still pretty small.

Holosun or save up.
Yes but a plate carrier with molle would be a better option.
Look for full-size or compact handguns (Glock 17, 19, etc.). If she still refuses, tell her to rack the slide on a subcompact without struggling. Then take her to shoot a couple rounds through one if the range allows rentals. Or just be a man and smack her out of her retardation.
Looks like some kind of duck hunter camo, possibly US M1942? I'm not an expert.

Less funded units use the FLC still, while better funded units use something called the TAP's

Attached: Tactical-Assault-Panel-2.jpg (500x375, 62K)

Tell her LOUDER.

Almost but not quite

When a stripped lower is sold, on the 4473 the dealer classifies it as a "receiver"
If the lower is a complete lower, assembled with a buttstock, the dealer must classify it as a "rifle" on the 4473.
According to stupid ATF, Once a rifle always a rifle.
But they allow a pistol to be converted to a rifle and back, as long as the gun in its rifle configuration follows rifle regulations (barrel length, OAL).
This is why some lowers are marked pistol. If the FFL sells it as an assembled pistol or a stripped lower, it's able to be converted back and forth.

Is that Woody Harrelson?

She needs physical proof that she's being retarded if mansplaining isn't working. Take her to the range, not the gun store. Alternatively, buy something for yourself that would be good for her, make her like it, then paint it pink and give it to her or something.

Are Chinese Tokarev 8 round magazines compatible with Romanian TTCs? Most sources say yes, but Classic Firearm's page says no.

Anyone got good pics of Holland and Holland rifles in Nitro Express calibres?

Hey yall. I just got some electronic ear pro and it has a nob for "adjustable frequency tuning" wtf does that mean? I googled, binged, and ducksuckgoed, to no avail. Can someone explain what this feature is, all it seems to do for me is make it more static.
Thanks in advance.

I am looking for my first handgun. I like the m17 but I am thinking I should just get a glock. What do y'all recommend?

Are small unit tactics from ww2 worth studying?

google "Holland and Holland Nitro Express" and filter by file sizes larger than 2MP

Why is gen 2 the best Glock?

Attached: wm_8489894.jpg (3264x2448, 1.28M)

because thats the gen that gave us the glocknade meme

Glock 19

glock 19 or M&P 2.0 compact

It will skew the sound dampening to tune out high pitch noise. Useful if you’re around sirens.

For example, it will mute a siren at 70dbl vs 80dbl when cranked all the way towards high-freq

Fuck no. Great way to stabilize if you’re standing or crouching without a bench to rest on.

Bipod is more aesthetic.

Any idea what this AR stock is called (the black part at the end).
I have the sig folding adapter, but I can't find the tube.

I've DM'd the poster but I don't know they'll get back to me.
instagram.com/p/Bj0Bm3RHWVh/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=3f1mj1322cz1

Or similar stock that's a narrower diameter than a normal buffer tube? The cheekweld of a full diameter tube is just a little too high.

Have you ever shot an M17 or even handled one? Or have you just looked at pictures?

The safety is unnecessary and gets in the way. Very annoying.

I’d recommend a Glock 17, but if you’ve got a hard-on for the M17 consider a regular full-size P320 without a safety instead.

Does anyone have an invite to the Northwest meetup discord?

any advice for a first time gun owner going to the range for the first time?

Attached: IMG_1664.jpg (4032x3024, 1.77M)

Know the golden rules, practice them at home, and don't be ashamed to ask for guidance when you're at the range.

Get a budget pair of noise cancelling earphones off Amazon for roughly $30

If you need help from a more experienced shooter or the range officer, being able to hear them on the firing line without taking off your hearing protection is a godsend.

Also consider a pair of cheap shooting gloves if you’re shooting a semiauto rifle like an AR or AK. Weapons manipulation is a LOT easier if you have the smallest amount of heat protection and padding on your hands/fingers. If you’re only shooting pistol, just go bare-handed.

If you’ve never been exposed to gunfire before, it might make you jumpy from the “shock” of it. Especially on an indoor range. Don’t worry: you’ll quickly tune it out.

Have fun!

Thanks mien nigga.

Go to a gun store that'll let you handle different pistols and figure out what suits your hand best. Polymer 80 frames for Glocks also have a completely different angle akin to something like a 1911. All modern handguns are pretty much the same and all solid so pick whatever you like.
It's not going to land you a job or anything.
If you're making posts like this, nothing anyone says can cure your crippling autism.

The top part that includes the spring guide rod is making contact with the top part of the reciever so it might work.

Attached: cmmg bolt2.jpg (2200x1467, 106K)

instead of going to a store to buy a gun, take her to the range and let her try the difference between a compact or subcompact pistol, a pcc, a rifle and a shotgun. She'll soon find out why long guns are inherently easier to shoot.

Also, if she's really autistic length, get her a braced pistol.

thanks!

CZ75 series is not marked with a "**".

>fake news

is that still the same shitty set up where all the weight is on the torso and not on the hips?

Does anyone have the coords for the Northwest meetup coming up?

walther ppk or springfield 911?

dude i have that same sword. you're looking at MADE IN INDIA on the side. it's kinda neat but it's definitely a piece of shit. i didn't pay no $40 for it that's for sure.

A2 or Collapsible M4 stock for a 16in mid length AR?
I'm kinda leaning on the A2 for the Vietnam m16 look.

Attached: a2.jpg (880x660, 30K)

Depends more on your arm length than anything. If an a2 fits you get it.

Neither. Both are bad.

Im looking for a cold blue pen just to touch up the blueing on some of my older guns. They all seem to be for black finishes like that of the AR. What can i get for something like the blueing on a star BM or browning A5? Not looking to do a full blue refinish btw just a touch up.

Attached: 4720F0BD-6DC3-463C-A637-E55D303BF80E.jpg (1989x1605, 724K)

An A1/A2 dissipator would look awesome IMHO.

No

Does anyone have suggestions for this?
