Best way to break in a gun and give it that worn look?

Use it.

Run it out on BLM land, go prone and get abrasive dirt and sand to scuff the finish

Just use it.
Take it to the range.
Out in the woods.

The fuck is this thread? is this your fetish or something?

Just some good honest holster wear.

Maybe I just like to see guns that do more than collect dust in a safe

I named it Valérie, after Valérie Quennessen. I've always had a thing for her. it just seems right.

Cherish it for years, use it as your daily carry, eventually, you’ll get the look you want.
Or just beat the crap out of it, but that’s like trying to build relationship character with your GF by kicking her down a flight of stairs, then reversing over her while trying to get her to a hospital.
Cumulatively, you may do worse over a five year relationship, but rushing this stuff is never a good idea

>Tfw have really good worn milsurp but no good place to take pictures

Do worn bayonets count?

Hi-Standard "Sentinel" circa 1955

Not quite sure if this counts as wear, more like abuse

Remington Model 51 someone used as a hammer

Even cleaned up, old worn wood still has a lot of character

Customized guns that are actually worn are so dank. Means they're not treated like a safe queen just because they've had some minor work done

S&W K-frame M&P previously of the Texas prison system. The nickel finish has worn off in a lot of places

No telling how many years it was in service

It's like skin
You can clean up the superficial stuff but the scars and knicks will still be there

Attached: 1911.jpg (930x858, 313K)

Now that hits me in the nostalgic feels

I kinda like that. I imagine some trapper in the early 1900s just deciding that a weapon is a tool like any other and beating a steak into the ground with it.

Yess

>Show functional wear on guns, no purposeful ‘battle’ finishes allowed

In other words, the opposite of literally everyone's guns on /k.

Do you not have a floor

My great grandma used a Starr as a hammer on her farm

I get upset when I get little scratches on my rifle and niggas out here trying to get it

I do like the worn look tho

N-nno you

Still a better alternative desu. Kind of like an abusive mother who keeps her kid a virgin just for a slutty friend to show up and turn his social life around for the better.

My space cowboy gat. Tbh, I'd rather cerakote it black or reblue it, but considering the wear on and around the serial is way too heavy, no cerakote guy I went is willing to do it.
The wear does have some character though I guess.

Sell it to me and buy a nicer looking one. That's a lot of beautiful history you'd be erasing

>space cowboy
How many episodes until it gets good

Nah, here Neu Jermany it's a pain in the ass getting handguns, considering you need a separate permit for each individual one AND you cannot buy more than one a month unless you have an exemption. Maybe in the future I'll get a nicer one.
If legitimately not b8, animation, action, and music wise, from the get go. Story wise, depends on the episode quite frankly; some are masterpieces and some have absolutely no point. All episodes are great however.

I have one of these. Mine's worn but not like this. They are pretty good for an inexpensive revolver.

Very nice. Is this a trapper model?

I liked reading this

did they beat that gun with a ball peen hammer or something? Good grief...

See you space cowboy..

I think he’d do well looking at low quality finishes like the initial coating on the M45A1s.

>bought same week i turned 18 in 2008
>take it everywhere because lived in alaska and hate bears
>carry daily for 6 years of canoeing, camping and get to bring it aboard the fishing boat i worked on because the captain would let me use it to brain huge 100lb+ halibut instead of trying to beat the fuckers to death and risk men falling overboard
>move to maine for 2 years
>take it on three day canoe and camping trips every weekend for 2 years and put it in my truck every day
>pretend french-canadian socialist raccoons are surrounding my camp and do failure to feed drills every night before bed because paranoia
>move to missouri
>humidity, mud, sand and water everywhere
>pakistani friend doodles on the handguard with an exacto knife
>try to write "die" in serbian but i'm pretty sure it's translated wrong
>the handguard breaks after i fall on some rocks and have to do improvised first aid with a shirt sleeve while bleeding all over my hands and getting it on my rifle
>his current state

truth, because the faggots on here who actually use their guns often enough to wear them either covering it up via fake bluing pen or Photoshop,

t. faggot with a 2011 with the left side of muzzle end of the slide worn and the magwell scratched up from missed reloads

It was the cheapest way to get a noveske. Nobody wants them, fine with me, so I can get them at a discount. Seems strong enough and lighter than mlok.

Oy vey, that’s a lotta wear.

sameboat as you
keep my guns looking nice
I like the well worn/ heavy use look
it's that in between part that bothers me
when its still a nice finish but you've put a few blems dings scuffs or scratches into it

I currently have a WASR that I covered in sweat rusting away in my safe. It’s got a nice coat of surface rust right now but I’m hoping it will only get worse. Looks quite nice as it is now.

Not b8, i keep hearing about it so i watched the first two. Its good yeah, but at this point I'm not exactly running to watch more.

Picked this up at an auction. Can anybody tell me how old my slampig is? If so I would like to come by an succ off your pets out of appreciation for your knowledge.

is this a milf thread

1980s
Enjoy your misdemeanor

Fuck me running this story was so fucking cool
>god I wish that was me

>kept his Century wood
>broke from small impact
Pottery eh

It's pretty episodic, so don't expect every single episode to be connected to all the others. Just enjoy the ride. Or don't, if you don't like that sort of show.

Copsurp, still shoots fantastically

i think the trapper was abit longer. i suspect it's a custom length.

You just wrote the English spelling of die in Cyrillic. The word I would use is пpoпaдaти, or "ruin" or "destroy"

That's probably how it was made

thanks m8

Post your AKs, no bakelites faggot

The worn look on AK's makes me hard.
Bakelite master race.

Attached: GP 1975 Sporter stabby.jpg (3000x1400, 1.12M)

Bullshit. The point of customizing a gun is to specifically make it more useful/better to use for the owner that paid for the customization. Which means it's more likely that owner then used it

>Hahaha, you don't own guns, I own guns
>Doesn't post guns

That is what you get with severe rust pitting.

>doesn't use a web of 550 cord to move about
Look at this faggot

Does carbon on the muzzle count?
