I had a big bucket as a kid I got at a dollar store.
Came with Japan Germany Britain and America.
U.S. was green, japs were a weird yellow green/ light olive and had a strange texture, Britain was a tan/orange and were the most varied out of the bunch(even had a bag pipe player), Germany was a dark metallic grey and was the least detailed of the bunch.
I still use a Nazi throwing a grenade as my mini in dnd

yes. it was all added as a free update. there is a 15 dollar DLC, but all that does is unlock the other classes. in the free version you can only play rifleman class with m16 (but you can pick up other weapons off dead people who bought the dlc)

Cats do that even in public sand pits. I remember digging for fossils in the sandbox as a kid and being disappointed that my finds were just some stray cats shit. I also had very poor vision but didn’t know I needed glasses because I had nothing to compare it to. So I’d be sitting there playing with my army men and pulling out turds and bringing them close to my face to examine them. Thanks for reminding me.

I never had an actual set. But It seems I got a couple of soldiers here and there, because I still have them. Including a few of these. Maybe that was what led me into Napoleonic reenactment decades later.
