How much should I pay for a 92FS Inox and how hard is a G conversion?

I bought this Inox brig for 750
So a regular Inox at 700 seems reasonable. These are lgs prices of course. Check out mrgunsngear’s g conversion video

>Wait huh what I thot the max was 100 on an FBI test?
We do this one, you should try it some time, I can provide an 8.5x11 formatted B-8 center if you'd like.

If you're wondering how the times work, just set a countdown or stopwatch on your phone. Alternatively I can suggest a really good shot timer app and instructions.

walther ppk or springfield 911?

neither

Regarding the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Compact: What's stopping the pin used to switch out backstraps from obstructing the magazine, either from coming loose over time or from being hit while reloading? This seems like an Achilles' heel much like the Glock 19 Gen 5's cutout that can easily catch the magazine.

The problem with the Glock 19 Gen 5 at 7:50
youtu.be/Y_q6juMrNlM?t=469

Unless I'm looking over something, my plan right now is to buy a Glock 19 Gen 4 (the G19 Gen5 MOS that doesn't have the cutout is out of my budget).

I want a longslide glock in .45acp.
Currently I have a Glock 21 with a factory threaded barrel. It must be 5" or so.
I have, on backorder, a 6.6" barrel and a G21Longslide. From lonewolfdist. They said they actually have no expected time for when those will be in production again.

So I was thinking, what about a Glock 41 MOS with a threaded barrel? I think the threaded barrels get up to 5.85".
The whole reason I want to do this is to get the maximum velocity I can get out of 45acp family of cartridges. Like .460rowland or .45 super. Reloading to really nice pressures.
Will I be losing out on much by not having a 6.6" barrel versus the 5.85"?
I'm not even sure if the quantitative difference from my 5" barrel to 6.6" will even be a lot.
What does handgun general think?

Please respond.

>how hard is a G conversion?
Not hard if you are mechanically inclined and have tools. Hard if you are mechanically inept and have no tools.

One is DA/SA 380 one is SAO 9mm, pretty different.

911 would be my pick

>What's stopping the pin used to switch out backstraps from obstructing the magazine
Your hand. It can't easily rotate with your hand there, and there's a little (mushy) detent keeping it lined up.

I've never heard of them blocking mags or coming out and the M&P has been used by a LOT of police for a decade.

If you don't want an M&P M2.0 because of this perceived weakness and don't want a G5 glokk then how about a CZ P10C for $380?

No one can tell you what your heart wants but you user. Let it soar

I'd like the name of that app, asking for a friend.

Looks like tranny cock

Hit the range today for the first time in ages. Shot decently on paper, and shot steel for the first time, had a ton of fun.
I also got to handle three guns at the LGS: A CZ TSO, a CZ Custom Shop A01-LD, and a Ruger Super GP100. All were fantastic. That Super GP100 is absolutely leagues above a regular GP in fit/finish as well as the trigger pull, but I guess it had better be considering the price.

I’m a child of divorce, give me a break
;^)

Never had an issue with ?m&p 2.0 even after a few thousand rounds. Shit is locked up tight. Plus if you have proper grip, that shouldn't be an issue. Still ditched my G19 overbite, gonna ditch my G26 for a shield soon too

Honestly they’re all cool, post pics of the 454 bud

That’s awesome! I really want one as well
Care to give us a rundown on what it’s like?

Hey cool! People see the Stoeger ones for $300 and get it in their heads that the Beretta ones are super cheap too. Lucky you!

>SP01 length kadet
Woah I didn't know that existed, rad.

Steel is great fun, you can get into it really cheap. Find some super cheap $5-10 AR500 steel gongs on eGay, buy some $5 shepherd's hooks from Home Depot and you're laffin

Attached: spinbois.jpg (2700x1800, 1.69M)

Both are boomer memes

Yeah so there's the base 75 Kadet kit, and there's an SP-01 specific one. But the guy that talked me into getting a Kadet kit also talked me into getting the base kit specifically, because apparently the SP-01 specific one (as well as the Shadow 2 specific one) is lower quality in materials and fit/finish. I didn't want to have the base kit because of the shape being meant to match the base 75, but it turns out the old kit was discontinued and now there's the "Kadet II" which doesn't have any contour to the front, meaning it matches up with the SP-01 dust cover perfectly. It really worked out great and I'm super happy with it.

Need your help. Walther Q5 user from the prev thread. Mine has quite a bit of trigger creep, recommendations?

Neat. More pics.

found the glock fan

I saw a 2ds at my local shop. almost wanted to buy it then realized that they are like the glocknade meme

Also I guess I should mention that I bought the SP-01 in college, and over a few years did various work on it and installed aftermarket parts. Then after college I picked up the S2 and suddenly had the problem of "this does the exact same thing as my SP-01 but is better in every way" so the SP-01 wasn't getting much use. That's when a guy pitched the idea of the Kadet kit to me and it's been my 22lr trainer/warmup gun ever since.

Guy moved here and decided to unload 6 handguns to cover expenses, he dropped off two 84s, two 92fs, this cougar, and a hi power from 1965, all priced to move. Just absolute dumb luck that I was even there to pick up the scraps.

I've only seen 1 occurrence of that ever happening only with a 20ds

I'm not the guy you're replying to, but I tend to like the SP-01 Tactical because I like decockers for carry. The S2 has much better internals though. Makes sense, since the S2 is built competition spec.
What was the price on that Hi Power if you know?

spotted a few at a gun show today but people always overprice shit there. Armlist has some

I didnt catch the price on it, but I got to see it in the layaway room and goddamn i wish i had been there sooner. Absolutely beautiful unit, easily a 98% condition.

God the 92a1 compact is ugly. The rail and squared off trigger guard, the stubby grip out of proportion to the rest of the gun, probably nice gun to shoot though

Oh, it's a dream to shoot.

Attached: prisma edge.jpg (1000x1000, 300K)

So I'm going to sell my M9A3 to a buddy who really wants it. I like it, but I really only bought it because it was a really good fucking deal at the time. I'm considering replacing it with either some 1911 in 9mm (Most likely a Sig Match Elite Stainless since I can get one for a really good price. I don't care about poo parts, I own a 320 and poo parts haven't broken yet), a 92G LTT, or a Wilson Combat Vertec Centurion.
Any thoughts or comments? I've never owned a 1911, but have shot quite a few and like them enough. I like the LTT aside form the brig slide, and the Wilson is a bit more than the other two options.

I could also get a 92X, but I'm still find the DA/SA with safety only fucking odd.

l2shoot better instead of pushing the rear sight.

Attached: Crow of Judgement.jpg (600x625, 21K)

pretty sure his slide is just machined all fucked up, the top anti glare flat is offset severely compared to the centerline of the bore.

You guys freaked me out!
Just checked and the flat is centered, it just looks that way because of the photo

The LTT doesn’t have a brigadier slide
And don’t think of the 92x as a da/sa with only a safety, unless you want to decock manually think of it as a gun to be used cocked and locked like a 1911.

On a second check the flat is offset, but from pictures of the top of other brigadier slides this is by design. Doesn’t bother me, but it makes me feel better that it isn’t a defect. Here’s someone else’s with the same flat

Attached: AA2E6860-01B3-4029-82E1-77AD2E0E53A1.jpg (600x400, 45K)

For some reason I thought the ltt had a brigadier slide. I might be mixing them up after watching and reading so many reviews. I've never actually shot a brigadier slide before, just heard that it's mostly there for strength and makes shooting "different".

I have both a brigadier (OP) and an LTT.
There’s no difference in shooting, since it’s only 1.5 ounces heavier. I do really love the way the contours look though. Pic related explains why it was developed in the first place

Attached: 2A1D5E61-AA4A-4685-84DB-7D85A922FFB8.jpg (1125x1237, 849K)

gonna check out a 6" 422 tomorrow

Nice
I only knew about the model 41

If that is the case, then I might consider guns with brigadier slides then. I wish I could shoot one, but I don't know anyone who owns one or any range that has them for rent. I guess if I don't like it I can always just sell it later. Still, I'm more heavily leaning towards a 9mm 1911 right now, just because I've never owned a 1911 before.

I'm still pissed I missed out on one at the shop I used to work at. Came with a ton of shit, like several mags, an optic mount and a threaded barrel and we were only asking some low ammount (I don't recall how much exactly, just that I was super pissed I didn't see it when I went into work that day)

I also almost bought a 41 we had for a good price, but after reading up on production dates and how newer production ones are sort of shit, I took it off layaway.

it takes 41 mags

>hg still generating hitlerdubs
I noticed that some of the Kadet kits have that angular F117 look, I guess those are the inexpensive ones? That's a shame, I'll watch out for them and specify the older kit or the Kadet 2 kit in the future, since I pretty regular shill Kadets to people wanting a good .22.

Yeah bud there are several of things you can do. In descending order of difficulty:
-Find someone with an old PPQ or any generation P99/MR9/SW99 who doesn't care about the great trigger and swap single action levers with them [free]
-Install a set screw into the sear cage like pic related [50 cents plus a tap]
-Buy a PPQ single action lever from Germany [cost unknown]
-Buy a P99 single action lever from Walther USA (they REALLY don't like selling single FCG parts, or will flat out say "no") [$17]
-Buy a complete P99 sear cage from Walther USA and take from it the single action lever [$50, if they have them in stock, they had 1 left last time I called]

I want one bad but I can't justify the meme price

if this is real, is there any reason i shouldn't buy a Glock 48?

Attached: 0000471_s15-glock-43x48-15-round-mag_600.png (600x600, 185K)

Only every reason there is to buy something instead of a glocc

Also that's not a factory mag, idk who makes it or how many millions of rounds of testing they do (protip: that won't happen), it's absolutely 100% not as reliable as a glok fagtory mag and that's reason enough not to carry the gun with that mag in it. It's not even Mec-Gar, who themselves make some unreliable mags, it's a literal who? company.

But still neat

Should I get a foregrip for maximum edginess or not?

Attached: ARGZKS2.jpg (3126x1242, 491K)

Where'd you put your engraving? I wouldn't think there would be enough room on the inset serial plate.

This is a great idea
Glock mags are naturally thick due to their polymer coating. This means that in a “staggered stack” glock you can fit a double stack metal magazine. Here’s a picture of a CZ75 compact mag in a g43x.
Since the length of the grip is the same as the g19, there’s no bullshit magic needed involved in getting 15 to work flush. If designed and tested properly, this could very well be just as reliable as a Glock mag

PLASTIK GEYS GET OUT.

Attached: a.man.of.sips.and.taste.jpg (1248x884, 840K)

my shadow 1 did not come with adjustable sights, did you upgrade them yourself?

Yes.

any other upgrades you've made? I only changed the trigger to a straight trigger

Now thats dedication

Attached: Screenshot_20190714-111831_Facebook.jpg (1080x2220, 1014K)

No. I bought a one step lighter hammer spring, but i didn't install it yet. I'm really enjoying the sights tho. Original fiber optic was not installed properly, it was blobbed out side the sight instead of inside the hole, and adjusting the rear was a pain in the ass. Now everything is squared away.

BTW, if anyone has pic related light laser combo, pls redpill me.

Attached: tor-fusion-torch-angle2_0.png (760x816, 339K)

How's the trigger change btw. Notice a difference? Is it an improvement?

Hey what's a good smol holster for a HK P2000sk?

Attached: couldn-amp-039-t-get-into-the-police-station-blew-themselves-up-outside-instead-were-noone-was-harme (1093x801, 180K)

what's a good 80's aesthetic red dot? Big and bulky preferably

yeah, absolute improvement. But then again, I'm also impartial when it comes to straight triggers, i just really love them. Since i have quite small hands this was also a nice addition for me because it allows me to have more control over the handgun. Only downside is that it modifies the gun to SA only. Furthermore, for some reason it also seems like my trigger is a lot lighter in SA now than in SA when it was a DA/SA.

One smaller part of criticism is that the wall on the trigger could be a bit more pronounced for my liking. It works fine for IPSC and stuff but for real precision competition it's only 90% ideal.

also, I'm a trigger snob

No point in buying it when tlr8 exists

C-more railway

This is 1.5K at LGS. Thots? Browning Renaissance Hi- Power with heavy wear.

Attached: IMG_20190627_112222_2.jpg (900x675, 145K)

What i don't like about that one is that the backend seems to be polymer. That disgusts me to the core. Is it polymer? The second thing i don't like is that they stupidly put the laser on the bottom, creating a greater height over bore difference for not much gain.

Maybe you now press the trigger lower, so your finger gets more leverage? I use mine for bullseye comp, what it was never meant to do, and i have that "hole" right before it breaks. Apparently gunsmiths who know what they are doing can make it go away. Would you say your groups have improved with the flat?

As far as logos for manufacturers go, I guess this one is pretty cool. If I was into HK and wanted a tattoo I’d get the antler proof

I wouldn’t buy it for $500

No, you wouldn't, because it is $1.5k

Hello friend, good taste
It’s the wood that makes it good
Based

It’s fucking gross, why are you even considering it?

I wasn't the same guy, just making a funny.
It is a gross gun, indeed.

Theoretically, could you stick a .357 sig barrel in a glock 17 to let you really overload 9mm?

Are you high?
>overload 9mm
What?
You want a glock in .357 sig?
You have to change more than just the barrel to convert a G17 to .357 sig. The case dimensions are different, so the slide will no longer be compatible and, similarly, the rounds will not fit into the 9x19 magazine.

Recently ordered this. I’m stoked to get it, I don’t own a handgun in a real caliber.
