French militar parade

You may not like it but this is what peak assault rifle looks like.

the fuck are those? lock-on systems or something?

Anti drone lasers

Not lasers, jammers.

They shoot quantum bullets.

Is that the finalize version of the Felin helmet?

Is that a famas?

That looks very Giger inspired. I’d love to know what’s inside of these things that they require these funny shapes.

Fuck i want it

>curved magazine
>cpu fan on the side
Is this really a jammer?

>Let's get a guy to stand on a drone
>lol,k
Also this concept has existed since the 60's: remember the flying platforms from MGS3? Those weren't entirely fantastical.

Probably a Molot Verp with body kit.

Tacticool covenant weapons? Looks like the French got to area 51 before us

Attached: DroDraber.jpg (1280x854, 226K)

Lol wtf do you mean before us if we're the ones who made and own the place?

Man California compliance is getting even more crazy.

Older French Gats are cool though.
I need more.

Ah, that makes sense. Thank you.

Huge, bulky scifi guns are becoming reality i see.

its not a gun

>all this hyper advanced an expensive drone jamming gear
>defeated by simply not using off the shelf components like a retard or by using laser communication or by just making them fucking autonomous
Unless they can also fart out one hell of an EMP, they're barely better than a shotgun.

>mfw polish antidrone bullshit gun has better aesthetics than french thingy

Attached: lanca 2.0.jpg (1280x720, 113K)

Kinda weird new world we are in. Military and police never used to worry that someone could drop a mortar grenade or rocket on their parades and units. Now we have drones and it's not a possibility that someone with a hundred bucks to waste will send something flying over them. It is guaranteed. And most of them will not even be terrorists. Just morons.

>the russian one just attaches to an AK-105
>if they don't feel like using the one that is straight up a flying AK-105

Those guns are in a very good condition.. seems like they've never been shot and dropped only once

Why not just use 12g or 20g frag or buck for drones?

Because then you can't inspect it for evidence, also most of these things are used in places where you don't want buckshot raining on the other part of town.

I was thinking more for the battlefield, away from populated areas.

On an actual battlefield you will have your Big Nigger field grade jammers on hand. The kind you use for disrupting comms for miles. These are for security use.

ok

looks like a 20mm launcher with a big dumb shell on it

That's a US T48 you dumdum.

It's okay, we must celebrize the revolution by doing an other revolution.

The modern battlefield is a city.

>US T48
>we could have had a fal

They are anti-drone jammers.

>buck/bird
not enough range
>frag
good luck hitting it
>proximity frag
doesn't exist

>>proximity frag
>doesn't exist
You tempted me to make timed frag and an optical rangefinder.

>The modern battlefield is a city.

The answer to urban warfare when not playing nice has always been lots of high explosive. Before you mention Stalingrad its the exception not the rule as the soviets pumped men into that meat grinder in a manner that would be unsustainable by any combatant today. If Afghanistan, Syria, Vietnam etc teach us anything it is that cities are controlled by the surrounding territory very readily and are best bypassed and encircled as economically as possible or simply flattened. Only in a hold your punches less that full conflict are cities combat zones for long high explosive is cheap and there are more ways to deliver it than ever

>>buck/birdnot enough range

40M is more than enough to be ok with any blast radius a small drone can carry go look up the loads and chokes geese hunters use
>>fraggood luck hitting it
Shot down endless shit for more than a century but in your brain airburst frag is innefective

>proximity frag doesn't exist
It does for 40mm, doesn't it?

Why do drone jammers all have these retarded shapes?
And why do they have to be so front heavy? This is one thing for which a bullpup would be better.

>Why do drone jammers all have these retarded shapes?
>And why do they have to be so front heavy? This is one thing for which a bullpup would be better.
Because antenna theory cannot be changed.

Vietnam had cities with thousands, Iraq had millions, future wars will be near cities so big you literally wont be able to travel around them. Nightmarish sprawls the size of half the landmass like Tokyo, LA and Shengen.

Some kind of assault guillotine?

You forgot the big city where I expect combat might actually break out. Beijing.

put the battery in the rear and have the antenna start near the shoulder

And it'll still look like a snow shovel.

so?

Why? Nothing is forcing them to make fuckhuge retarded plastic shells over the antenna, they can be more form fitting

Retard here. What would happen to these cities if the opposing military would be to identify where they get their tap water and simply, like, disable that.
It seems like it could make the problem of them existing go away quite quickly, without committing too obvious a war crime.

>Retard here. What would happen to these cities if the opposing military would be to identify where they get their tap water and simply, like, disable that.
The civvies will hate it but the soldiers were never drinking from the tap in the first place. You want to hit the water tanker trucks.

Finally, some new weird prototype weapons.
That itch has been hard to scratch since the end of the cold war.

>proximity frag doesn't exist

You should refrain from posting on Jow Forums if it's to say such nonsense, buckaroo.
We've had them since ww2.

Look up Daewoo K11 for such a system in 20mm.

At least post the right one.

user, check the 4th law of firearm safety. “Be aware of your target and what’s behind it”.
Blasting at a drone in a populated area=no good.

Amazingly, key infrastructure is generally recognized as potential targets by major defending forces in most of the world and resources are allocated both to defend them and resume operation. Just because they aren't sporting MG nests doesn't mean they aren't covered.

Would picrel work on drones? like small ones with low altitude? not sure what kind of range these things are capable of.

No, they were rotor-based whereas this is jet-based. It is capable of extreme agility and obviously far more compact. The French military is interested in it. Dunno whether it really will have any military applications, but it's certainly not equivalent to those designs of the 50s and 60s.

>Look up Daewoo K11 for such a system in 20mm.
We all know mate.

Well your battlefield would quickly be filled with fleeing refugees fucking YOUR army's logistics first and foremost. If you don't help them or attack desperate people you can turn the entire population into enemy combatants.

Looks like a Gauss cannon from terror from the deep.

In case you haven't noticed everyone levels cities during urban fight. Look at what the US did to Mosul and Raqqa, they did not "play nice". They still had to send in ground troops to root out the survivors from the rubble.

Stalingrad is not the fight of the future. Mosul, Raqqa, Fallujah, Aleppo and Grozny are.

>a war zone.
just a normal sunday afternoon in paris

D-dok?

Thse are what is used to shoot down choppers with Epstiens 'friends' on board

I assume we are talking about the US waging war in the highlighted places. I'm no expert but it feels like they could pull it off, especially considering they don't insist on taking the installation for their own use.
The presence of defending personnel even makes it better for the paperwork, "enemy combatants had taken cover in location A, so we de-located it."
Like, just drop some thunder on it yeah? And keep doing that until the tap water starts glowing.
How good are the best non-US AAs to the best of our knowledge? If Syria is a showcase match, they don't come off looking too hot.
Fair but if we're talking about urban fighting, all civil population present during the actual fighting is already screwed.
Yeah, it's more about creating chaos and crippling the city / forcing evacuation. Wouldn't the chaos fuck the defenders much worse than it would interfere with the attackers? For one, defenders' job is to protect these people that are now having a pretty rough time.

All I'm saying is, big cities dont look like ASSETS in a war scenario, more like liability.

>For one, defenders' job is to protect these people that are now having a pretty rough time.
They should have evacuated the city once a siege became imminent.

Best use for this would be rapid insertion of forces in a raid style attack. You could insert into facilities without having to breach walls, dismount, do your operation, and then take whatever exit option was required (blowing a wall, taking a helicopter, or using those to get out). They would definitely not be a fighting platform, however.

>No cover, can’t fire back at targets effectively, very visible to anyone everywhere

It’s a good thing it’s French then, it likely can retreat very quickly.

Don't they also have anti-drone falcons as well?

Ahh yes, the French. Sucking at war since 1590.

Le impressivé! In une stroké le armee de la francais has révélutionizéd le guérre avec le quantum téchnologue!

Very clever design.

A retracting bayonet to avoid accidental injuries

the middle eastern country version is a 10 year old Down Syndrome Arab with a suicide vest, running at said drone.

>Sucking at war since 1590.
Ahh, another one. Lemme guess: 1/2056th German Ancestry Wehrboo who never opened a book but swallow everything Internet says?

Not surprising. Won't even bother give more (You)s than this one.

Ah, the FAMAS 2 I see

Anyone got a good pic of the exoskeletons?

French had to war USA war of independance for you your burger shit, Washington won literally 1 battle and lost like 10 lol.

*cough* agincourt *cough*
*cough* dien bien phu *cough*
>MUH NAPOLEON
he was Corsican, doesn't count.

France needed americans to win. Otherwise it wouldve been the french-indian war all over again.
Americans with french assets=win
French with french=embarrassing failure

My, do you learn that by rote? It's admirable.
Why don't you tell us where you're from, so we can return such good humored friendly banter?

I'm a flip

Hello Ian

Meh, it's true.
Afganistan = american with french assets - victory and continued control
Irak = american without french assets - abject failure, thousands of dead, birth of ISIS

Guess US forces couldn't tie their shoelaces if their allies weren't there to do it for them :^)

You got me with that one.
