More annoying is picking up all the brass so it doesnt build up quickly.
Its a good hider but if you want a Saker 556k you should have it unpinned and replaced with an ASR mount.
I tried to shoot skeet with my sxs sbs but it didnt go well. Probably something to do with the fact that I havent added a bead to the front since cutting it.

Ive never inspected an M&P close enough to know the exact process.
If its a rollmark/large diam engraving full of paint just strip it out with a pick and fill it with black paint.
If its a narrow laser engraving you can just fill it with black paint since the whiteish color is likely coming from the aluminum under it.
If you really want you could use bondo or a twopart epoxy to fill it and then sand it down until it is flush. Then rattlecan the entire thing so the texture/luster doesnt show through.

Every month I order minimum 1k 5.56 and 500 9mm for blasting through. I try to shoot for 2k when weather is good and easily meet that with classes tacked in. I end up shooting more 5.56 than 9mm just because loading pistol mags is tiring and I prefer rifle.

Ive seen problems from every can company. I prefer ASR because dead air cans lack flats on the can itself. You can grip the mount with a spanner no problems but if your shit is seized on a MD or you have a MD spin off you have to use a strap wrench which is less than ideal. I really appreciate sico having wrench teeth on both the mount and can

Magnifier is off by 1/4"/7mm or so but can still adjust it to center. BCM VFG Incoming. A 1 MOA or smaller dot, a better aligned magnifier and being able to have the iron sights rearward while preserving the magnifier eye relief would be nice.
Also I'm now a very big believer in 20"+. 2600 FPS+ implodes soft targets, 2800+ FPS implodes hard targets. Speed is king.

Also made the mistake of adjusting the damn quick releases so they were easy to use.. The cheap magnifier fell off. I've now resorted to just clamping it on and then tightening it and leaving it tight like that and using it as an 'in case of emergency flip off' instead of attempting to use it as an easy release for cleaning.
$50 vs $200 is still worth dealing with the bullshit
