45 ACP < 9mm

Give me three reasons people still carry 9mm. Do it.

They know elementary level math, for starters.

It's cheaper
>inb4 muh poorfag
Why don't you carry a .45 super then? Size of a .45 velocity of a 9mm

>Capacity
>Size of firearm
>Cost of ammo

What do I win?

lol, pitiful op

But 9mm is better OP, what do you mean?

You're absolutely right. 45 < 9

Don't know but personally im buying a full size 9mm because it carries 15-20+1 of 9mm vs my 7-8-10+1 of .45
I carry my .45 for work with 1 10 and 3 8 round mags
I will carry my 9mm in a shtf oh! teotwawki, zombie infested dream land as a secondary with 3 20 round mags. This should hive me a total of 360 rounds in my load out witch pretty much guarantees i cant be surprised at any angle sinse it will be covered by a bullet acording to sun tzu feng chuy teachings

Because 45mm is impractical compared to .9 ACP in handguns

Brother. The fnx 45 is the modern day 1911. 15+1 rounds of 45 is a blast. Great gun for HD and Duty.

stfu with these fucking boring threads you retard.

Just traded my standard in favor of a tactical. Not gonna lie, I'm pretty bummed at the variability between individual triggers. My standard's trigger pull was like a solid 1/5 of an inch shorter than the one on the tactical- set up at the range trying to shoot it as though they were the same gun and my first 3 mags were all over the paper.

By all accounts, if you can afford to buy and shoot .45, and can afford the physical real estate to carry a .45 when it matters most, and can handle a .45 well enough to place effective follow-up shots, then it's undoubtedly superior in terms of CQC. But thatd a big if. 9mm is much cheaper in the long run, hence the (average) shooter will be able to train more with it. Also consider that most people cannot carry a .45 with an acceptable capacity in their day to day lives. Finally, most people are not hardcore gun enthusiasts that train to be truly proficient. Therefore ot is less likely that they can handle a .45 as well as they could a 9mm with less effort. Plus, given a hot 124gr HP, 9mm has enough 'stopping power's for my taste

>Higher capacity.
>Recoil management.
>Cheaper round so more practice.
>Quicker follow up shot because of less recoil.
>9mm today is not like the 9mm ten years ago.

People who carry .45 are retarded as you clearly demostrated.

Really just showing how stupid 45 aarp users are. Don't even understand basic math symbols

I like almost all calibers, except 22LR

I carry them all from time to time

The fnx is such a fine shooter. Just try to find a proper grip position and grip tighter, if you have too. Also suppressor height sights can take some getting used too.

>mixes wood and zenit
>that atrocious tape wtf were you thinking
>thinks his opinion on taste means anything

>not carrying and training with one sidearm exclusively to maintain peak performance under pressure
Its like you want Tyrone to kill you for your iPhone and credit card

I know this is bait. Generally shooting someone with a handgun is not optimal so why split hairs. 45 and 9 are both good calibers. I'm not sure why people underestimate 9mm so much, 9mm is not a weak round for self defense from people or medium sized wildlife. Women, teenagers and manlets also often can't shoot 45.

10mm>45acp

Welcome to the 21st century you fucking FUDD

That AK is aesthetic as fuck

>Duty

What is your occupation

>larger ammo capacity
>more controllable recoil
>in close quarters, the difference between 9mm and .45 is negligible.
Duh.

Why would this not qualify for a duty gun? Also I rock a sig m17 in 9mm for work in armed security.

The same amount of 9mm can fit in a vastly smaller gun than a big ass fuddy five. Fuddy five is best compared to 10mm or 460 Rowland because it pretty much necessitates a big gun. 45, when compared to 45 super, 10mm, or 460 Rowland is much less powerful but the most controllable. It's advantages are frontal area and great expansion with hollow points. If for whatever reason you need/want to shoot ball ammo for penetration 45 would be best because it's all gonna fly through a torso but fuddy five is the biggest hole.

460 XVR is king and you know it

did you mean to say the 45 is lesser than the 9mm? because thats what you said.

>cheap
>ez mode for capacity and recoil
>Kills people just fine

Whats my prize?

More rounds than a 45! Lighter than a 44 magnum! And still enough umph for crowd control!

9x25 Dillon is better than every other pistol cartridge.

It's also actually .45 caliber. Why the fuck do you think you can shoot .45 Long Colt and .454 Casull through it?

I carry both because indecision is not always a bad thing and New York reload.

CENTIMEEEEEEETERS

Attached: 1563262320025-1.png (603x1232, 485K)

Based centimeters poster. Assuming proficiency, bigger is literally always better. Its just a matter of practicality past that, such as cost, size and weight, etc.

My ideal sidearm for a situation I know is gonna be hairy is a G20 for sure.

>tfw the Boomers that prefer 45 ACP are so old they forget basic math
