Make sure to send off your fully-semi-automatic-straight-pull-shotguns back to the ABF when you receive your letter or you'll have a knock.

Getting my first HK roller-delayed blowback rifle soon. I'm pretty fukken hype.

What model? I've been interested in delayed blowback and lever-release guns for a while now but they are fucking hard to get unless it's a rimfire.

"Woah why do you own so many guns? There's no reason for you to own that many"

Attached: shitbridge.jpg (194x240, 15K)

you should have two guns and twenty bullets MAX. There's no reason for you to have an ARSENAL of weapons?!?!?!

Attached: greenballs.jpg (375x488, 18K)

"These personal arsenals that people own are unacceptable, I know! I'll make a website that shows people the amount of guns owned in each postcode. That'll spread awareness and totally not be used by criminals"

how many illegal semis do you think are around now with all the smuggled in stuff trickling in from the gangs and rural/richfags who don't care about the law?

More than there were, less than there should be.

I go to an SSAA range in WA and it's quite easy going, but I'm always hearing horror stories about SSAA ranges in the eastern states being fudd hellholes. What have been your experiences?

Attached: brassfudd.jpg (417x511, 31K)

a bloody lot. Lithgow started selling SLRs to the public since they were semi-auto, they used to be what the Enfield is right now, Australian-made milsurp. Every country bumpkin and his mother is packing one I'm sure.

My personal experience with the SSAA is fucking horrid. My local range practices "single loading only" for heightened safety. Whilst I can understand this it's fucking ridiculous. Some poor fuck had a .22 tubefed lever rifle, and would fire one shot, pull the tube out from the front of the rifle since .22s dont side-feed, load a single round, and fire again. It was like watching someone load a musket, saddest thing I've ever seen. Saw another guy with a WFA1 who would fire, pull the mag out, load 1 round into the mag, insert mag, chamber round, remove magazine (RO doesn't seeing a magazine in the weapon) and fire.

And unless I want to travel 1-2 hours to a range that doesn't do that (and pay more because I'll either not be an SSAA branch member there, or it won't even be SSAA at all) then I'm stuck.

What is most frustrating about these kind of ranges is that they're hurting the sport.
We need to introduce more people into shooting and encourage them to get their license, pointless bullshit rules and "old boys club" mentality of some ranges scare them off for good

The optics list is a bit incomplete, use the recommended firearms list instead for future threads

Yeah it's very daunting. I brought a mate who was wanting to get into guns and all the fudds and boomers just ridiculed him for his groupings. His shots weren't even bad, he was getting about 1-2inches at 25m with a 22. They make absolutely no effort to help newcomers, and all the fucking boomer/fudds treat going to the range as a race to get all the benchrests kek. Even the ROs and SSAA volunteers don't try and help newcomers. I remember my first time at the range was waiting 50 minutes for someone to sign me off at the book, and then learn that due to prior misuse, you have to bring your own staplers for targets.

Is this maybe a state thing or just exclusive to few bad ranges that also happen to be SSAA? My SSAA range is almost the complete opposite, you've got ROs letting new-comers do full details with their custom BR guns and actually trying to help them have a fun time.

I actually had a small chat with Geoff Jones (SSAA national president) at Shot Expo and he expressed some concern with the "old boys club" mentality of some ranges, I wonder if he'll actually do something or if his hands are tied.

Seems to be a QLD-NSW sort of thing from the people I talk to. I can get away with air rifles and subsonic 22s on my property but I still want to be able to at least dump a mag from one of my bolt-actions. There was some good talk in one of the previous threads of someone setting up an 800m+ range on a shitload of private land, which seemed nice. I've got an uncle that owns a resort up in North Queensland with lots of land but you can only go pigging outside of tourist seasons so I'm stuck with SSAA boomers for now.

Whatever you do, be careful about who you take to go hunting pigs with you.
If not eventually some pig doggers find out about it, trespass, spook the owner and the place gets locked down. No more hunting there for anyone.

It's happened so many goddamn times

unless they are willing to go for a 4 day drive and brave scattered abo communities that is.

Well I know some stuff has gotten through to aussieland, courtesy of some greedy but possibly also gun control hating arms dealers in the states.

very very good read.I have it permanently bookmarked. Shows that proff there are millions of guns that werent handed in and the ones that were are junk that was still legal after the grab to make a few bucks

almost looks like there was an average downtrend in gun deaths, with a giant portion being suicide. They also don't account for population growth in those graphs, almost the exact same amount of murder is occurring each year, but our growing population makes it less of a percentage.

Post "gems" from your state/territories firearm laws.
This one's from WA

I'd link you to the entire QLD weapons laws page

Qld/Bris here, tfw need more friends who own gats.

Anyone going to the militaria fair tomorrow?

got no money and I'll just get depressed going to the militaria fair

post fox removal

No funs yet? Theres a Jow Forumsangaroo discord if youre interested in trying out some gats some time?

I'm OP and I have a safe full of funs. Just don't wanna see an M1 Garand or Gewehr 43 that I'll never be able to own or a P14 Enfield or Kar98k.

Maybe come hang out on discord (fPm6WB) and you can shoot my p14 or any other milsurp, If you're able to drive to ripley.

been in that server before, good guys and all, run by bungins iirc. was in the inner server too until it got shit up by spergs and got myself banned for pointing shit out. sticking strictly to irl lads for now without connections to auspol but thanks for the offer

Attached: 1558151038004.png (573x500, 264K)

that's raw numbers user. of course there will be less gun deaths if there are less guns. we just kill people with spoons now.

Fug is that you?

ye

Attached: 1550920648756.jpg (482x427, 61K)

Ouch, yeah most of us got sick of auspol and lurkers and joined another server, but I still invite people there to make sure nothing dodgy is going on. Feel free to add me personally Shiro#5503, you seems like a nice person :)

Oof hey Fug :3, still got your enfield alerts going

Ye I'll add you mate thanks, nothing wrong with the auspol lads themselves, I still consider them all my brothers but I'll take range fudds anyday of the week over politically frustrated noguns when it comes to talking guns
I got back the enfield!!1!11!1!11!1111!!!1!!

>want wt15
>$6000
>banned soon anyway
why is life so hard?

As a leaf i have experienced this in Canada a few years back. Boomers and fudds are gate keeping retards that think their "hobby" is a secret club for their retirement and that younger gun owners are ruining it by bringing more modern and sleek guns into the mix. I had this happen to me at gunshops and my club due to my age.

>be me
>leaf
>go to gunshop
>shopping around
>see a nice side by side shotgun
>really had an itch for a shotgun
>see other older customers handling guns in the shop infront of the clerk
>go to boomer clerk
>ask if i can see that shotgun
>looks at me funny
>other boomers look at me funny
>ask for my license
>give license
>looks at it
>looks back at me
>"Well duurrhh.. a... son.. do you got your father with you so i can let you handle this?"
>Wtf told him i'm 24 why would i bring my father
>said he cant then
>i leave

this is why i do all my shopping online for ammo and guns unironically.

also at my club i was reported by a boomer to the club president for having "illegal" magazines in my AR15 even though they were the LAR15(loop hole mags) for the extra 5 rounds, so instead of 5, they were 10 rounds. Luckily the club politics changed, and it was the based 30 something year old with many black guns.

but good news, fudds and boomers are starting to die off in canada and are currently being replaced by younger SHALLS. My club is now run by late 20s-30 year olds and they all got black guns and are making things 100% better for everyone and more open and friendly to newguns.

Hopefully things get better for you guys, you really need to introduce EVERYBODY to guns and sports shooting and bring them in to keep it alive. our numbers are increasing rapidly in Canada, and i hope it does for you guys too

/vic/ bro here,

just bought my first 22 to actually start to practice etc.

what would be the next ideal option from here?

I really do like the k98's but they are a bit spenno.

Attached: 1552874207880.jpg (1600x982, 677K)

why are female political leaders such shit cunts

Vi/k/torian.
SSAA only has 2 ranges in Shitbourne, one .22s and pistols, the other centrefire.
>shoot laser/reddotted .22 revolver-rifle
>rest of line is 20 university chinks hiring club boltactions for first-timers so keep ROs occupied
>no fucks given
Go to centrefire range
>shoot WFA1 with 30-size mags multiple loaded
>boys down on the far bench are handloading .416Cheytac rounds between shots
>half the line is boomer deerguns, the rest tacti-black precision boltactions
>no fucks given
>'fudd'-era RO takes a break to shoot his .44mag revolver rifle, almost at cylinder-dump rate
Must be a NSW/SEQld Fudd thing

Vic.
Depends what you want to shoot, but minimum legal calibre for large deer is anything 7mm/.270 diameter or above.
So simplest is Tikka/Sako/Lithgow etc in .308 for easiest buying ammo.
If you're cheaparse just buy second-hand and upgrade later when you get cash.
K98s and Nuggets are rarer in Oz than Seppoland so dont follow memes blindly. An average modern gat will outshoot the finest ww2 antique anyway.
Then get your dream k98 when youre ready and have skills.

Woah, GCA has a whole of 4 actual official members. Why do you need so many members? Is it to compensate for Sam Lee's tiny penis?
Can't some of you just fall under a bus or die of aids or something? Nobody NEEDS that many shitdribbling fucktards....

I swear everyone cheering the death of boomers is either a kike or an unwitting agent of the burgeoning shitskin

Make a donation to them then make a complaint to the government anti corruption department and say look I honestly thought this organisation was legitimate but I think it might be a bit sketchy. I think I've been scammed....200 shooters do that gun control Australia will be at least investigated

holy shit nice going kunts this thread is alive

>this actually sold on usedguns

Attached: BUBBANO.jpg (480x119, 10K)

Get a small centerfire rifle next like a 223.
This will be an easy step up from your 22 and ammo won't be massively more expensive, these cals are also a great intro to handloading which you'll want to learn if you want to get into the bigger, more expensive and less available calibers.
Course, this will be too small if you want to do Sambar, but it's ideal if you get invited out to spotlight for foxes and cats.

You won't get one anyway as QPS isn't issuing PTA's for them.

For the price it would have been worth it considering the cost of the SIA pistol cal conversion. I was gonna buy it before it sold.

That's why you don't go to the Springvale range unless you really need to.

Yeahnah, it's set up that donors are non-members, so they get to take your money and thats it.
Otherwise it would only take 5 shooters joining to vote them out.
They'll never get investigated because its mainly foreign donations - they use Oz GCA as a testbed for all the dumb Yank GC ideas that they can't get past the 2A and NRA so they can then go 'but it worked in australia'.

Warwick WFA-1 lads - overpriced meme-cannon, or actually useful rifle?

still mad i didnt buy that

a bit of both but mostly meme with a stupid price tag, untill some one starts making custom uppers for the semi/full memes

Both

Righto, thanks - it's hard to find fuck all written on them. Do they shoot straight, do you happen to know?

any of you cunts have to send your LA102s in for the barrel replacement?

Attached: la102doc.png (800x263, 101K)

That poor mk3.

no4/jungle carbine

Straya has bubbas too?

fuck

Boomers encouraged this mass migration and removed countless rights. Why wouldn't people cheer for the inevitable removal of the insane?

Got one.
As per = both.
Shoots very straight, but for a monolithic upper it should.
Its a lot heavier than an M4. Theres one cunt whos had his cutdown to take an M4 frontguard and foresight reckons its a lot lighter.
>bought it (1) had the cash so fuckit (2) support aussie gunmaking (3) fuck the leftards
>Worth it for all 3.
Buying a Rhonda pumpie for the same reasons as soon as someone reviews the accuracy.
Figuring on getting a spare barrel in 6.5Creed for PrecisionRifle Comps as wont have to change hands to work the bolt between shots should make better times and consistency.

Attached: download.jpg (197x256, 8K)

got my AB a month ago, any rifle ranges around brisbane that aren't ssaa? their single load rule is fudd autism and I bought a shitload of enfield clips I'm dying to use

Exact same predicament I'm in, I just wanna dump a mag and feed some stripper clips into it, sadly I'd probably get banned from all SSAA ranges lol

The Qld Military Rifle Club.
Been a few years since I was in Qld but they used to run AnzacDay and other .303 specific shoots including 'MadMinute' runs.

Nice; I’m jelly.

>unable to own AR15s or other bona fide black rifles/ tactical rifles, or armour
>tacticooling up a 7615 is not only expensive but also gay as fuck
>tacticooling up a bolt action is as above, but even worse
>softly forced to just own normal ass hunting rifles
>have learned to live with nice, normal guns in lieu of being an autistuc faggot who tries to make a sporting rifle into a HSLD operator weapon when it is incapable of ever being good

Anyone else had this happen to them?

PrecisionRifleSeries - or are you a WAfaggot who isnt allowed 'boltaction machineguns'???

>boltaction machineguns

Attached: fullyautomaticboltaction.png (623x674, 929K)

Is this shiro from aus/nz

I think there is one range local to me that may do it, but I also doubt it as it'll be full of F-class fudds (QRA). The alternative is SSAA single shot ranges. The ranges are also not long enough and not setup for PRS.
PRS would need multiple steel targets setup at various distances (not necessarily 100m, 200m, 300m, etc., but arbitrary distances instead), and would need room to setup barricades to shoot off. PRS simply can't be done off a bench; that's just benchrest shooting.

I'd do PRS if I had spare cash and there was a better range near me but at this stage it's way too inconvenient to justify the several thousand dollars to setup for

Actually it’s spelled autistic

What's a good club to get the licensing process started in WA?

Yeahnah.
This copcunt identified this as 'i dont know but think its some kind of machinegun'.
>knowyour fuddcopp memes

Attached: images (2) (1).jpg (511x288, 20K)

its only gonna get worse isn't it

Attached: 1563580123079.png (903x898, 586K)

I shoot a mates one a lot and it does shoot straight, as straight as any bolt action .223 does that's not made out of tin foil. His one works 100%, never had any reliability issues with any sort of ammo. They're just heavy as all fuck for that they are and expensive.

Anyone seen The Fix by Q? Seems like one of the few guns that could be viable in Aus for tactical larping innabush. Shame they're nearly $6000

Attached: Q-TP-FIX-308-Right-Closed_2048x2048.jpg (2048x1077, 133K)

Learn to read graphs

>Watered down rapid fire

wut

How much worse can it get? Full gun ban?

a law without teeth

Just get a Remington 700 and a magpul chassis or some other chassis.

Like the other anons have said - bit of both. It's a well-made, accurate and fun rifle, but it's also expensive, and doesn't really do anything functionally or drastically better that other cheaper alternatives can do. But if you have the spare cash and you want something fun and ergonomic to fuck around with, I love mine.

Attached: 12312321312.jpg (1200x800, 93K)

Who’s been to the range on the weekend, cunts?

wait for some cunt to do a shooting with a rapid fire assault bolt action

feminism is a hell of a drug

Don't need a club to start the process (Unless cat H), but one of the most easygoing clubs in my experience is Mundaring Marksmen.

You're mainly joining the club for a support letter but the respective firearm you license through them is going to be restricted to club use only. If you wanna get something you also might wanna hunt with, get a property letter instead

Yeahnah. If one of the tactical-sniper-bolt-action crowd ever snaps he'll be waiting for Alpers Lee and Shitbridge to be standing somewhere in a row so he can 3shot3kill without having to shift his bipod.
>GCA has nobody left to whinge about it so media cant do anything
>less than 5 still not officially a gun massacre
>Simples

Get hand gun collection licence. Thats what I did. You can still shoot them on your property and you don't have to go to stupid clubs

qmrc.org/

Don't buy a Wedgetail product. Alex is a fucking wanker.

whats the going rate for a p14? sorta new, dont wanna get ripped off

You shouldn't go round saying stupid shit like this. Either you're a liar about your license or an idiot. I've got a collectors license with A,B,C,H,M endorsements for temporarily inoperable weapons. You can ONLY use these weapons legally at your collector guild's meetup and shoots (SSAA has them twice a year in the big ranges), or a historical society event. If you go out on your property and use weapons registered on your collectors license, the police will consider it a breach of your license conditions, and thus use of a prohibited weapon. I agree that it's a lot easier than getting your pistol club license though, you don't need probation periods, fingerprinting, referee checks, mag capacities, etc. If you manage to get endorsed by your guild or society to collect operable post-46 handguns then you could build some pretty mean high-capacity pistol carbines (legally too).

tldr:
don't be a sperg and say shit like that

Attached: 1538962344625.png (1228x1150, 191K)

What’s he asking for, what factory, and what condition? Matching numbers?

its restored mix and match / fair condition he's asking 600
