Ive dont really have any bad range stories. Only thing I can think off is when the guy next to you reaks of weed.

I saw a group of rednecks getting dinner plate groups with an AK at 7 yds. The paper would ripple with each shot it was so close. How can you even be that bad a shot?

I live in a college town, so the nearby state gamelands range is plagued by international students that have absolutely no concept of safety. I've had one walk down range literally while people were shooting to attempt to put a target up. I've been flagged a good number of times, once by a chinaman trying to clear a pistol malfunction with the gun pointed straight across the firing line (on the rifle range).
Needless to say, I started going to a different range farther away. When I do go to this range for a quick trip, I bail out immediately if I see an group of asian people show up.

One time at the range, I turned around to talk to my GF, but still had a pistol in my hand, unloaded, pointed away from everyone, and the guy who made sure everyone follow the rules pulled his gun on me and told me to drop the gun or he’d shoot.

The only time I've ever went to one(outside of competitions) was a sheriff's office public range with my buddy. Had a boomer RO watching us the whole time which made the whole experience kind of awkward. Only decent part was getting to shoot at their pistol plates which was fun. I understand that ranges have to have ROs to maintain safety(especially after reading the stories itt), but shooting on your own land is 1000x more fun.

I live in Calgary Alberta Canada so we don't get much if any Hispanic or Black people come in. I do see a lot of Chinese/Filipino people at my range though. I'd say almost 30% of the range-goers are asian. Pretty much all of them are well versed in range etiquette and have been shooting for a while since they have been here since kids or are second gen.

Never encountered any fresh of the boat asians at my range, though I would imagine it would be pretty scary for other patrons and I would probably peace out until they were gone.
