>For me it's Hoppie's #9
For me it's Hoppie's #9
Hoppes & Ballistol gang

I love the smell of that shit, even though I know it's pretty much just scented acetone or something
IN-FUCKING-FINDABLE IN SWITZERLAND

Imagine living to be 40 cause you didn't die from cancer
Just smells like guns to me.

Some morons mentioned they oil their guns with motor oil the other day LMAO!!!1!
Imagine, some people out there clean their guns with fucking WD40 hahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
>his firearm does not reek of Hoppes #9
A shameful life you lead
Corrosion X is completely inert and skinsafe, cant say the same for hoppes, which is mainly kerosene.
Wait, getting hoppes on my skin is bad?
I liked the smell of the old CLP before they changed the formula.
Its just light mineral oil and water.
it's toxic as fuck and a carcinogen.
chrome-extension://oemmndcbldboiebfnladdacbdfmadadm/hoppes.com

Fudd bait.
Don't h8, just make mo bettah b8.
>one armed bandit test
not a way to test lubricants outside of the scummy salesman trying to shill his junk, 4 ball wear tests are the only valid test in tribology.
start using shampoo guys.
thanx fren
Lol no it's fucking not. Corrosion x is toxic as fuck moron. You're thinking of ballistol retard
both are non toxic and totally skin/body safe.
Go back to plebbit
I'm Larry Potterfield, and that's the way it is
The zinc additive in head and shoulders that helps dandruff reacts similarly with steel and extreme pressure as zddp and sulfur based EP additives. This is just a salesman making other products look bad (And notice how the sales guy couldn't help himself by using the amsoil product 3 times)
It's possible to have great 4 ball wear results but have an oil fail in other ways. Load Wear Index and 4 ball weld are a bit more useful, but data isn't always published.
I like the smell of balistol
>he doesn't know
>he probably doesn't trust Corrosion X either
die
>>he uses chrome
thanks for all your privet info and location dumbass
Anyone else try this stuff? Seems to work well and it smells like grape candy.
>I have a multitude of lubes for all my guns, high end greases and CLPs
>always end up using hoppes no.9 to lube the rails on my favorite rifle
Has anyone ever used Hoppe's 9 to fap?
If so how was it?
Stand aside
Yeah user, works great
I like the grease

You're going to learn to love the smell, son.
Based. I use this and it smells amazing. Something like an industrial orange smell.
Ed's Redpilled
not as good a corrosion x.
I want to smell like my milsurp
Hoppes and CLP and Windex ultimate poorfag gang. Oh, and Q-Tips.
Is it okay to use synthetic motor oil lmao
Is Hoppes no9 ok to use on chromed barrels and chambers?
Hoppes smells the best. I would have it no other way. I don't know what the fuck they put into their solvent to make it smell good, but damn that shit is the best cologne. I don't go crazy with the #9 oil afterward, and generally oil the barrel in and out. For everything metal on metal, a light coat of WD-40 lithium spray after cleaning. I have never had any issues with this arrangement, though I am sure there is someone who could complain about it.
>Is Hoppes no9 ok to use on chromed barrels and chambers?
I don't know, but I couldn't see how the oil would cause issues with the various alloys used in firearms.
No 9 is the solvent not just oil. it is for dissolving unburned powder and copper fouling.
When you use it the stuff makes a green mess that wipes away but is it messing up the chrome?
Damn, they did?
I was raised on CLP.
Recently bought some more.
Noticed that the smell didn't bring back old memories. Thought maybe something was wrong with me.
Now I have to find 'old CLP '
>but is it messing up the chrome?
Doubt it. Chrome is used all over the place when carbon steel won't cut it. I doubt that anything sold for cleaning a gun will cause any damage to any steel alloy.
no
What gun solvent tastes the best?
I accidentally got my weed soaked in Hoppes
I use q-tips to clean my gsg-15... if theres a better way that doesnt take 3 hours please let me know
