Having problems with my P80 g19. Consistent stovepipes and its ejecting left or straight up. 124g NATO ball, tried new glock mags, different shooters, stock and lone wolf recoil springs of 15, 17, and 19 pounds, full detail strip clean/oil, and the extractor/ejector are not damaged.
theres never any fucking ammo for my vss vin and im tired of getting it imported
Psa ar-15 build having rough failure to feeds where it bends the fuck out of the round and dents the case. Wish l had taken pictures but anybody have this happen?

I recently installed a reduced striker spring for the 48, going to shoot some hard primer 9mm to see if it's reliable enough to ignite anything else.

Have you tried different mags? What gassing/buffer are you running?
I havnt tried new mags yet. As for the gas/buffer its just whatever comes on their complete upper receiver. It ran just fine the first time l shot it but this time around it kinda shit the bed. Any mag recommendations?
What's bending the case? Like is it not feeding straight? Is it feeding at too steep of an angle?

Well it sounds like a magazine related issue. Maybe try Pmags, Lancers or GI aluminiums.
Although if you have the wrong buffer it could be causing the bolt carrier to not properly pick up rounds. Like other user asked, how is it denting the rounds? Any pics or specs would help

It looks like it its feeding at a weird angle. It was almost bending the whole cartridge on the way into the chamber causing the bolt to stick since ya know boomerang shaped rounds

I appendix my Glock19, there is some printing but I don't give a fuck. Not fat but I think if I lose a few lbs and workout my chest/shoulders more (no homo) it will print less.

I have a PSA AR-10 and used to have the same issues when it was new. After running a couple hundred rounds through it, the jams stopped.
Also noticed it was more common if I used Remington Core-lokt (or whatever the fuck it's called) vs. Hornady's soft point ammo. Haven't had any jams with FMJ.

Similarish problem, my P80 has failures to feed and sometimes failures to eject. I only have 2 Pmags for it, is that likely the problem? Ejector is a factory glock one.

My mini 14 trigger guard comes open during firing, which makes the trigger assembly come out partially and I have to snap it back in.
I think I may have caused this by slightly bending the trigger guard during disassembly. I’ve been told I can bend the trigger guard back with vise grips or something, and it should go back to normal. Haven’t done it yet be because I’m afraid to fuck it up. Thoughts?

Not a gun problem but Finnish steel AK magazine gave me failure to feed. I fixed this previously on a Russian slabside but the bottom of the Finnish magazine's spine is a little bit bent so getting the spring and follower out to replace them is going to be a pain.

My Ruger LCP has feeding problems if I try to use hollow points they get stuck on the feed ramp straight on and don't even try to cycle.
So I have a mini-30 my mom gave me thats been sitting in a closet safe for 25+ years. I wanted to go shooting with it and took it apart to clean it up and I notice theres a bunch of rust build up on the barrel by the gas-block. Most of it wiped off but theres some that didnt wanna come off. Should I be paranoid about shooting it? Still new to the owning a gun scene and just wanna make sure I dont end up being another statistic of why guns are bad mmmmkay. Can go grab pics if that would help at all

Get a sharpening stone and grind your rear rail assembly down for at least 200 counts.Oil like a motherfucker and rack it a few hundred times. I was having the same issue and that was my solution

My g20 pf45 runs perfectly. Do you have the original system or the newer v2 rail system. Stove pipes can come from a few things honestly. Could even be you if youre limp wristing. If your extractor isnt dammaged try a recoil spring swap, could be too light. If that doesnt work its likely limp wristing
It's the newest frame. Also I said that I tried multiple different shooters (to isolate limp wristing) and 4 different recoil springs
Shooting cheap SA ammo through my DSA FAL 200 rounds no problem, next time out shooting with friends gun fires, bolt slides back kind of weird. Check chamber, cartridge still in barrel with a quarter of the lip bitten off. Still stuck in there, my next solution is to dremel the cartridges base off and use this shell extractor I got off amazon. I tried brass rod down the barrel and soaking it in blaster, no budge, trying to twist the base of the cartridge with pliers, no movement. The only other thing i've seen on youtube is using a grease gun but it seems kind of drastic as I would need to buy a grease gun and the custom fitting.

My FN49 dents the fuck our of brass. I dont know if you can fix this because of the ejection pattern. It also wont reliably function with surp ammo. Cases get stuck, there are no rupture or anything. The headspace is fine and it fires PPU just fine.
