Mistakes were made

Try being a manlet with tiny hands. That will help. Normal hands do that. The Magpul MIAD can back your web rearwards a bit. Otherwise you just deal with it.

The light is in your field of view on the left side of the barrel if you're a right hand shooter. Placing the light over, under, or on the opposite side will allow for illumination without the light physically blocking your view when shouldered.

Basically your list of fuckups are as follows, some minor, some major:
1. Buying a DD complete, ever (overpriced af)
2. Keymod
3. Strike Eagle
4. Using DD's mags instead of Magpul or GI spec
5. That chinzy looking sling, though you're on the right track with 2-point
6. Light on wrong side

You could have gathered up some parts and had literally any gun shop put you together a lower with a nice Geissele or Larue trigger, slapped a complete upper with a preinstalled MLOK or quad-rail tube instead of keymod, and had more than enough money left over to put towards some decent glass and irons, and you'd have a rifle that could curbstomp that DD for the same or less money.

I didn't buy it complete, I traded about $750 worth of stuff for it with the optic already on it. It was too good to pass up. Not really an ar guy so I've been lurking here to try and learn. Sometimes pretty difficult to seperate meme from actual advice. I have about 10 or so magpul m3 window ones. Maybe I'll just sell it, I had a build in mind if this one is beyond salvaging

If that's the case you didn't do bad depending on how the insides look. If I was you I'd swap the light to the other side and start figuring out what optic I wanted and saving for it. Also pick up a Blue Force Snicker's Tactical padded sling.

Try Manta Defense's new Mlok rail protecters.
It's the same material used on their other products such as the rail covers issued on the m27 iar.
The rail covers are essentially immune to heat so you can continue to hold your mlok handguard no matter how hot.

This. Also get a more angled pistol grip for your giant monster hands, the one you've got on there looks like it's designed more for an SBR. Go for Magpul MOE or MOE+ depending on whether you like a rough plastic or rubberized finish, though I'm sure someone here could recommend you a more gucci option if that's your speed.
The keymod rail should you've got should be acceptable.
