The first Islamic indigenous fighter
It's not designed by Anglos you seething britfuck
>Anglo calling anyone Islamic
top kek
Italy is not in it?
Neat
I'm more interested in the MGCS though. I don't see what makes this bigfully different from the F-35.
>skipping 5th gen tech and going to 6th
Huh
>the virgin Future Combat Air System
>the CHAD Système de combat aérien futur
Nah, they're butthurt because Dassault/AirbusDS didn't contact them right at the beginning to ask them in person to please join. They could still join anytime but they're too proud to ask.
>The typical French static refueling pod
I bet the artist couldn't stop laughing while drawing it
It's Jow Forums-made as far as I'm aware, it won't actually have the refueling probe
I was aware of that.
If I'm still around in 2100 I'll be sure to go see it at an airshow.
In 30 years when we are putting out real 6 gen exo atmospheric fighters with active defense systems and holographic clocking we will look back at this fighter and say yeah the 6th gen thing was just marketing.
Italy is irrelevant in any field of aerospace industry
Like that legendary MiG bullshit?
>exo atmospheric fighters
Like a shittier Shuttle that also has to carry missiles?
>No lasers
Gay
And lasers.
>pointy nose
Means we are getting conformal radar modules, which is quite the step ahead of that bulky Tempest nose.
>European plane
No canards
>American plane
Canards
???
Welcome to Trump's America!
>designing 6th gen
>when you could never into 5th gen
>when you barely managed 4+ gen
>and need three countries to band together to even have a shot of making it to prototype stage
After all that J-20 posting. I like to see a plane that isn't a mess of various aerodynamic elements and design philosophies.
Given the size of budget it's pretty painfully obvious that European defence must be multinational. No European country could sustain a US-tier military budget
>MGCS
All those new job offers for FCAS and MGCS, makes my heart happy.
>MGCS
Redpill me about it
It needs the extra control for carrier landings.
i can not wait for this to turn into a political and social shitshow with lots of money vanishing and meager accomplishments over a 25 year period.
McLeppy and Leclerc replacement, supposedly Germany is going to be doing most of the work. Not much is known about it yet, it's not even known if it'll feature a traditional tank gun.
>it's not even known if it'll feature a traditional tank gun
What else could it feature? A missile system? A laser gun?
J-31 is cute though.
Too bad China paints everything in evil paint schemes like they're fucking Cobra or something.
That's actually the best part of Chinese planes.
Way better than the Russian pseudo camouflage
The two alternative proposals that I'm aware of:
>Large (50mm+) autocannon and a bunch of missiles
>Control vehicle that operates a bunch of robot tanks- similar to US proposal in pic related
In my lay-opinion the conventional tank is the most likely, though.
>inb4 Shillelagh 2: tank design failure boogaloo
Can't wait for the American plane to look very very conventional again.
Clashing thlough the sky
Comes the felrful cly…
COBLA!
COBLA!
Almies of the night
Evil taking flight
COBLA!
COBLA!
They never give up
They won’t say die
Spleading evil fal and wide
How will we sulvive
>Control vehicle that operates a bunch of robot tanks- similar to US proposal in pic related
Kek that would be hilarious
Tempest
The French Islamic population is fucking massive.
>I'm more interested in the MGCS though. I don't see what makes this bigfully different from the F-35.
>Bigfully
Trump posts on Jow Forums confirmed.
According the information we know now, the NGF:
1. About 1/4 to 1/2 larger/heavier than Rafale.
2. MTOW that will be similar to Mirage IV in 1960s.
3. Requirement of significant better payload and combat range than Rafale and Eurofighter.
4. Two engines of 30,000 pounds class each.
France is the most Muslim European country ignoring anything east of Germany.
SEXY
>The virgin Euro-Triangle
>The Chad Conventional American
Hard to know considering France doesn't keep official statistics. IMO there are more christian niggers in France than muslims, whereas in the UK it's the opposite.
>Italy is irrelevant in any field of aerospace industry
Not true, they are relevant in the field of space.
Eat tempura
That's a false and retarded comment
>Not true, they are relevant in the field of space.
Especially everything vacuum related like national budget and stuff.
top kek
Very YF-23 looking, I like it. But is my favorite, I want any future French fighter to have its probe. Even if it's not stealthy; like the red pants of WW1, the plane probes ARE France!
>"No."
>FCAS program collaps
>France pushes for static refuelling probes
>Germany and Spain are confused that France wants to bruteforce the static refuelling probe despite its obvious aerodynamic and stealth flaws
>Germany and Spain buying the latest Turkish stealth fighter
>France builds the first flying stealth refuelling probe on their own
The NGF's nose is pretty bulky, it's just that it's very long as well which makes it seem thinner.
Makes me wonder why Dessault & Airbus went with a V-tail.
Always heard it isn't worth the work to make it workable.
kek'd fucking hard.
France/Germany are zombie countries. Their demographics has killed them.
savage
In theory there are two advantages regarding V-tails.
Less drag, though in reality drag reduction was way lower than hoped.
And better performance in high angle attack maneuvers.
Looks like 2D vector controlling only
It depends where
Honestly there are a lot of areas where you'll never find any black or arab, they are essentially in major cities
>despite its obvious aerodynamic and stealth flaws
I don't know about stealth but concerning the aerodynamic it's negligible
>It depends where
>Honestly there are a lot of areas where you'll never find any black or arab, they are essentially in major cities
Bro, j'habites en France à temps partiel. What you write would have been true 20 years ago, today things are less clear cut. They've been seeping out of the cities and into the countryside quite a bit since the turn of the millenium.
But regardless I'm speaking in total. France has tons of niggers many if not most of which are christian. The UK has less niggers but probably more kebabs.
>The French version of the fighter will be able to carry a nuclear-tipped missile, the successor to the present ASMP/A, and also operate from an aircraft carrier
Spicy!
Call a nigga webbie he on that savage life
My main problem with Tempest is the pelican beak
You say that like any single EU nation has the same budget and population of possible to useful aerospace engineers to match the US. Banding together is the smart thing to do
wtf that's the best part about the PLAA though. Only dark color schemes are quite nice
>Fighter jet costs incomperable amounts of money to produce
>No room in the budget to make the 3D rendering looking better than an Ace Combat 4 screenshot
???
What info am I missing here?
It's the uk
Whats wrong about it?
>Bro, j'habites en France à temps partiel.
And went to french school with Joey Trivianni
Yeah it looks fugly
How will it fare against the Qaher 313, though?
>Needed 50 states to band together to make a 5th gen fighter
>Needing 50 states + multiple foreign countries to band together to make a vtol 5th gen fighter
o i am laffin
Iranian engineering is godly, eurotrash plane cannot come close
I can smell the cologne through my monitor
Germans do smell terrible after all.
No one can match Iran
I can do this in Kerbal Space Program in 5 minutes
I love those concepts where you instantly see that no engineer ever touched those designs.
What's the deal with American's and tail less designs?
Looks cool
The FCAS could be tailless too though
And what are your grounds for saying that?
You actually want some control surfaces if you want an air superiority fighter, which was explicitly stated for the NGF.
Just look at the FA-XX thing.
Inlets position makes no sense for a stealth aircraft. Not just would it take away important space for payload but also makes installing carrier capable landing gear more complicated. The RCS issues should be obvious.
But but they never made a 5th gen aircraft!
Ignoring the fact that a simple Ryzen build has more processing power than supercomputers in the 80s when the YF-22 was designed.
Companies are capable of checking design concepts in masses instantly.
FWIW that's a fanmade image, this is what Boeing actually put out.
>But but they never made a 5th gen aircraft!
I agree that this is overblown but having modern fighter design under your belt helps quite a bit.
Good that the both lead companies are industry leaders
It's not really that crazy.
That problem with that argument is always it would mean only Lockheed would be capable of producing a 6th aircraft in the USA. Because not countries are designing and producing aircraft but companies.
Also ignoring the fact that Lockheed hasn't designed any of the teen fighters but were somehow capable of designing a 5th aircraft in the 80s.
What a lot of people forget is that multiple companies partnered together to make proposals for the ATF program. So, its not like Lockheed went it alone.
>Lockheed hasn't designed any of the teen fighters but were somehow capable of designing a 5th aircraft in the 80s
They (Actually the General Dynamics/Convair people) designed the F-16 and F-111.
Well, actual aircraft concepts always get more conventional than the previous design studies, to reduce potential developement risks.
And then often the less riskier design wins the trial, so was the YF-22 picked over the YF-23 because it included way less risky new technologies.
No. Lockheed bought General Dynamics' aerospace business in the 90s when the YF-22 was already designed and picked.
Boeing was the secondary contractor for the F-22, but they had also no previous experience in any of the teen fighters.
