The last thread died to it.

I wonder if being able to carry Kh-101 cruise missiles technically makes it a strategic nuclear asset on par with Tu-160, B-52, etc.

I like the idea of Su-57 commanding S-70

How does that work?
Datalink?

Yes i'm dumb.

Me too.

I have no idea.

>Reportedly, an S-70 can be used as a smart wingman to the Su-57 and hit targets designated by the pilot in an automatic mode upon receiving authorization to attack. Many systems and weapons are unified between the two aircraft.

It's just some unconfirmed rumor. Officially T-50-3 is used to test S-70's avionics.

Heard they performed pretty poorly in Syria

Where is this gif from?

---> Keloid

Sure but only the pilot will have control over it?
Won't a Su-57 biplace be necessary?
Seems contraintuitive have to target with a drone and with your own fighter at the same time.

Heard so too, but you cant really innovate unless you test shit out. Syria has probably been a good testing ground for Russia both in tactics and gear

>inb4 Russia uses these to start drone striking people in Poland

Who?
>“The [vehicle] has been tested in Syria and demonstrated high performance in an operational environment,” the source claimed, noting that industry is now working to increase the Uran-9’s range, response time, and data bandwidth.

That's a bullet/RPG magnet tho.

And? That's the point of using it instead of any ordinary IFV that is a bullet/RPG magnet just as well, but also is manned.

Sure but it seems more "fragile" than a lets say a Terminator.
I'm sure they'll advance of that, but i still think a Terminator will make terrorists shit their pants more than a robot.

American media, everyone.
ria.ru/20180619/1522957833.html
Either way, they are working on improving it.

Because one is a 10 tonne combat drone and another is a 45 tonne manned support tank.

I wonder if it's engine also has thrust-vectoring. Imagine how cool could that be.

Attached: okhotnik-b chassis.jpg (309x438, 22K)

Quantumvatnik

Yes yes i know.
Also they could've just gone to their store and took one of the tens of thousands of T-72 they have and amde a drone with it.

You realize it's a different vehicle class with different purpose?

Attached: uran-9.jpg (1444x940, 230K)

What would be the benefits of that? Bigger payload, I'm guessing the Su-57 can stay outside of the immediate danger zone and what else? That seems like a neat idea all in all.

Very nice, very nice.

Shame it’ll be a rusted out hulk in five years when Russia moved onto it’s next totally awesome superweapon that will bring the west to it’s knees and we’ll make more than three of them this time, honest!

and then in 5 years we get to make a new post about that cool shiny thing!! its a win in my books.

Also diversification of targeting: Su-57 commands the drones to attack escort aircraft or vehicles allowing itself to focus on the main target, whatever it is. Remember Su-57 is designed to be multirole as fuck.

Attached: 1527574842251.jpg (1121x614, 97K)

Just like Su-30, Su-34, Su-35, Su-57, Ka-52, Mi-28... oh wait, no, these are all in production. Try harder.

Attached: t-50-3 (5).jpg (1500x1009, 625K)

Attached: yIq3U.gif (493x302, 652K)

God that would look amazing to see. A Su-57 flying overhead and 2 S-70s on either side. Hopefully it comes to fruition. I'm not even Russian but they really do make nice looking stuff.

>Su-57
>in production
Try again

are they going to have a fully autonomous mode?

Can't imagine that thing being very stealthy at all with that huge exposed nozzle hanging out the back.

I'm pretty sure its a prototype user.

tass.com/defense/1070884
Cope harder.

Attached: t-50-4 & su-35s.jpg (1500x764, 92K)

Just like they were totally going to produce hundreds of them. Before they reduced it to twelve. I predict they’ll stop at twenty this time.
Not that it matters of course, since it’ll easily be outclassed by the F-35.

It's a prototype airframe. Also, the engine is likely over 1 meter longer than what the drone is designed for due to its afterburning chamber.

Attached: 7-raven-aircraft.jpg (600x387, 36K)

I don't think you know the meaning of superweapon.

In any case it's always the same shit, though he didn't get it exactly right. You have vatniks making retarded claims about how it's going to be fantastic, for example with the Su-57 having plasma stealth, GaN AESA, ROFAR, the best stealth ever, long wave radar, higher T/R module count than the F-22's AESA and so on.

Then reality kicks in and it isn't anywhere near as good as claimed at best, or isn't happening at worst. You know, for every one of these projects there's some bogus S-P-A-C-E MiG or supercarrier that never happens. Whatever happens they'll either move to the next project or just pretend that it's still the best no matter what, like with the Su-35, S-400 and so on.

It kind of sucks too because whenever you're genuinely interested it's almost impossible to avoid the lies and garbage information. You also end up hating vatniks for being utter retards when all you wanted to do was learn about their weapons. I've always loved pre-Armata slavshit tanks but I haven't read anything about them in years because I don't have the patience to go through the propaganda anymore.

I don't think local meme words have relation to reality or that anyone cares about them.
Didn't read further, it's clear you're just another underage memeing local.

>superweapon
>meme word
You're a special kind of retard aren't you?

Why would he need to cope? There are currently 5 times as many F-35s as Su-57s planned until 2028, and there'll be over 150 of them produced every year until 2028. That's more of any combined slavshit Russian can produce.

Nuh uh! They’re totally going to make eleventy thousand Su-57’s and millions of drones!

>There are currently 5 times as many F-35s as Su-57s
Pray tell me, who gives a shit how many F-35 the US has?

Attached: 15a18m r-36m2 voevoda (1).jpg (800x537, 101K)

>inb4 “artificial sunrises”

Probably more than those who care how many Su-57s Russia will totally have anytime now.

It's funny how the replies are entirely about ego and having a comeback than anything else. At least he skipped all of the stages and went straight from "muh Su-57" to "muh nukes" without passing by Su-35, S-400 and so on.

Yes. And what are you going to do about it with your F-35s? Oh right, express deep concerns in the US Security Council.

Attached: 1466875757001.jpg (1400x764, 81K)

That's strange seeing how local amerimutts seem to be concerned about it 24/7.

Attached: 1268693722271.png (494x400, 25K)

Yeah, it’s kinda hilarious how predictable it all is. You’d think he would’ve at least gotten some new images by now to spice things up.

>he's already posting the ICBM
are you ok ? feeling a bit tired today are we ?

>Mutts post same dumb shit
>Get same reply pointing how dumb they are
>"Wow you are predictable!"
It's a big question who's more predictable here.

>No arguments

Vatniks care deeply, since they keep investing in failed export products like the SU-57

What does Su-57 have to do with F-35? Have you watched too much CNN lately? Is Putin under your bed, stealing your hamburgers and is about to invade your freedoms with his evil Su-57? Fucking underage retards, I swear.

Yes, aircraft crash from time to time. What of it?

Outsold handily by the mighty chatriot

Was it ever offered to france or germany?

Germany requested classified information about the F-35 about a year or so ago, indicating they could be interested.
France never put up a request for proposal.

defensenews.com/global/europe/2019/01/31/germany-officially-knocks-f-35-out-of-competition-to-replace-tornado/

The Japanese F-35 crashed because of pilot error, and this is a very bad attempt at Photoshopping an F-35 being pulled out of the water

It's an artist impression.

>The main argument is to keep European companies involved in building combat aircraft and, perhaps even more importantly, staying clear of disturbing Franco-German momentum in armaments cooperation.
Honestly the only proper reason desu. If you can keep the industry inhouse then that tends to be better in the long run.

Attached: S-70 Ojotnik and Sharp Sword.jpg (1280x1322, 382K)

I like the new F L A T design that Russia is doing with their aircraft

Yeah, they’re hating the thing so much, they’ve decided to buy more.

Need them to fight Godzilla

Russian stuff looks brutal as always.
China's thing looks like a copy of the American thing, as always.

Why post this image? The two aircraft are competently different. What kind of comparison are they trying to make?

Ohhh, they signed a CONTRACT? Well surely that means they'll stick to that number this time....

Fuck off, Sprey.

Oh right, and I forgot to add UK for the F-35 list.

size, also S-70 would be Su-57´s loyal wingman.

Chinese Dark Sword also looks interesting.

Actually, I'm not sure if the RQ-170 has s-ducts. Looks like the just have a radar-opaque mesh in front of the intake like on the F-117.

Wow they actually have plans to fix the stupid retarded flaw. Good job vatnik.
