I prefer to use my fist to engage with someone, so I carry around a small karambit that I can hide with my hands. This compliments my my left fist that I lack confidence in, making it so that when I punch someone I deliver a cut. I'm currently learning how to be more effective with it though.
I carry a $30 Kershaw, which I use to open boxes and envelopes, peel fruit, pick teeth, pry open things, trim plants, cut meat, and so on, and not anything involving fighting people because I'm white. If you spend more than that on a pocket knife, you're desperately trying to convince yourself that you really need that super duper fancy steel and hand-molded grip, which you then always leave at home anyway because you're afraid of losing it.
Kabar Folding Hunter is IMO best bang for buck EDC. Combine that with a Gerber EAB to carry in your pant’s little coin pocket and Letherman Skeletool and you are set.
I will buy whatever I want to include benchmade and SureFire. If you don’t like it you are welcome to try to stop me. I’m sure your autistic arm waving and fake outrage will do the trick.
Today I carry either CS Eland or CS Ti-Lite VI. I plan to buy a fancy spanish folding knife with 5-6 inch blade, because if I plan to dress good, a knife should also look more classy than black polymer+polished or stonewashed steel >karambit But karambites are useless. Unless you're harvesting crops or killing captive serbians. > when I punch someone I deliver a cut Nice idea, but knife fighting has different leg work from boxing. One guy said that if you want to see a good leg work that would fit a knife fighter, look at Naseem Hamed. >commies Eat shit yourself. >antigun leftist politicians They're bourgeois as fuck. BTW I agree, fuck benchmade, they make boring knives.
Alexander Robinson
looks nice and sleek
Nathaniel Nelson
It really is It’s basically a buck110 with a thumb stud and belt clip, and the 110 is one of the best knife designs out there I have a few limited edition 110’s that I won’t carry, but I have no problem beating the Hunter to death
My Kershaw nigga. I aint paying 200 dollars for a blade I'll lose, break, or let someone else ruin. 40 bucks for my Kershaw Shallot and I still love it. I just bought a Hotwire for 10 bucks and it's a cute little knife with spring assistance.
Kayden Martin
>I prefer to use my fist to engage with someone, so I carry around a small karambit that I can hide with my hands
You are a tremendous faggot and I hope you get gut shot.
Austin Moore
I carry a tiny little Buck folder for cutting loose threads of my shirt or opening a box or something, and I carry a gun for self defence. Nobody wins in a knife fight.
I Sometimes carry a FAL bayonet with me. Won't probably help much in case some thugs want trouble but it's better than nothing in a country where carrying guns isn't an option
Jonathan Peterson
My edc. Not justifiable reason to carry this other than I just like big blades.
Chinese ultratech counterfeit. Counterfeit=$30 Real deal=$300 But... There is no way in fuck there is a $270 quality difference. Microtech needs to get their shit together, because their knives aren't worth over $100, max.
Nicholas Kelly
>Hotwire Oh man, that's the Wally World exclusive one, right? 1310WM? I carried one of those for years before upgrading to an Entropy, I still love how tiny and light the Hotwire is while still having proper scales on both aides unlike some of the similarly light higher end knives. Wound up leaving behind the Entropy most days anyway in favor of a Leatherman.
Gavin Lee
Oh no!! Not da gunz!!!
Ryder Reyes
I bet there is though
Isaiah Peterson
Under $20, light, thin, 3 inch blade. My ideal edc knife.
Been using a huntsman lite almost every day for years now, all the tools are still in good shape, even the philips head screwdriver which surprises me. Frankly at this point I feel naked without it.
I dont get why they aren’t more popular. They are one of the best EDC’s out there
Jose Foster
>420 Steel How often do you have to sharpen it?
David Ward
>Chinese ultratech counterfeit. can u give me a link or the name it goes by, bro?
Brayden Flores
Whenever I notice it to be dull. It doesn’t seem to be significantly more often than any other knife I have.
That being said, I do keep one of these Adjustable Edge Pro sharpeners on my counter and run all my knives through the ceramic hone side before most any use.
I'm not the guy you're replying to but DHgate seems to have them still. I would advise against buying a fake though. All they do is hurt the knife community, especially when people take advantage of other by trying to pass them off as genuine
Ryan Fisher
Kershaw Blur
Its big, its good, and its cheap I don't care if I have to ditch it.
I'd cry if I had to dump one of my Zero Tolerances so I don't carry them and they are money wasted...
Ethan Powell
Why would you have to ditch a ZT? European?
Luis Miller
thanks user. this any good for $39? something else you recommend?
That's probably good for that price range. However there is a slight risk of it being confiscated in customs due to it being both counterfeit and the importing automatic knives isn't entirely legal.
I have a fake Troodon I've bought from there. It's actually pretty solid even though I don't trust it to be made from good materials and just feels kind of dirty owning a counterfeit
Easton Hill
thanks. i don't give a fuck about customs. shit always gets through.
Ryan Sanders
Spyderco Tenacious. Honestly, I don't see the point in buying the more expensive Spyderco besides having them made in 'Merica.
Aaron Cooper
My Para 3 lightweight was under $100 and made in Colorado. I love it. The upgrade in the steel alone is worth the cost over the Tenacious, besides it being made in 'Murka
Josiah Russell
Is Leatherman an approved company?
Gavin Cook
A Kershaw Link. The Kershaw Link is the missing link between made in America quality and made in China affordability.
Easton Kelly
sure. for now at least. they don't seem to be donating to anti-2A causes.
$120 is MSRP but they're most commonly found for $60ish, which is still too much for that knife IMO
Nolan Garcia
Kino taste my friend. Delica gang.
Carson Reyes
Browning speed load, originally bought it for the ability to use construction blades, now I just use the normal blade as edc
Hudson Cruz
kershaw skyline, and I watch anime
Colton Ramirez
SOG Aegis clipped to my dress slacks left pocket. Work IT in an office.
Owen Lopez
For my birthday my gf surprised me with a Benchmade 940-1. I had only used my 30 dollar Kershaw Speedsafe up until this point but man is the new knife light, its like I dont even have anything on me. Im glad she got it for me though because I dont think id ever spend that much myself.
Angel Perez
The 940-1 is a wonderful knife. One of the best every day carry options out there.
inb4 anti Benchmade spergs
Jonathan Thomas
I just dont understand what the fuck the problem is. Benchmade, based out of Oregon, sold cutting equipment to the police in Oregon to destroy guns that had already been rounded up? Its just business. The guns were going to be destroyed anyway. They probably cringed hard when the cops tagged them in that post though. As far as im concerned they were assisting the police, from their point of view, even if theyre assisting the police in doing something shitty and lame. Then some fag posts about how Benchmade donated to the Democratic party? So fucking what? What kind of tribal warfare retard state does your mind have to be in to think in this manner? If you want to argue about it being overpriced, hey, thats a different story, but as far as I can tell this knife is solid as fuck and looks great too.
OP here, thank you all for showing me your knives, I do have to say that the big amount of them are quite interesting. Not my kind of hat unfortunately. >karambites are useless I don't know man, seems like a very effective weapon when watching people who know how to use it. > *insert second sentence here* I mean I kind of figured that out all ready, but thanks. I'll study this man later to see if I'm missing anything. Wouldn't want to be caught off guard you know? Bad day I assume?
Justin Kelly
What did you do to it? Looks great!
Chase Sullivan
I carry a Zero Tolerance 0452 (pic related) It's mostly for minor tasks/ fidgeting around. The thing was damn expensive, but the action is well worth it.
>Frankly at this point I feel naked without it. Same Also nice dubs
Anthony Thomas
Karambits became popular weapons in the same way the kunai did, they started out as regular farm tools used for fighting because they were common and didn't stick out, literally any style of knifewill be effective if you specifically train like an autist with it. Karambits are just meme tier and don't offer much over most other knives and can't really be used as well for other purposes. They cut the guns themselves and also donated to dems.
Daniel Williams
Is S90V a meme or is it actually good and warrants the increased cost?
Joshua Johnson
>seems like a very effective weapon when watching people who know how to use it There is difference between "exhibition techniques" which are used to impress people, and real practice. Large share of ultra-short blade techniques are exhibition only. To see if a person's knife fighting technique worth something outside of demonstration, try to find that person sparring. > I'll study this man later to see if I'm missing anything. Wouldn't want to be caught off guard you know? I see. Also, try to check some spanish fencing. Carranza, Thibault and anonimous MdR may have some interesting things in their books.
Levi Rogers
It's good if you don't like sharpening knives. That stuff sucks to sharpen, but holds its edge.
Carson Rogers
Geez you're not the guy who hates icepick grip and who has a hardon for spanish fencing are you?
