Is alcohol the best?

>never had alcohol before
>grandmother orders Japanese food and a bottle of Sake
>she get out glasses for it
>really small so i think it wont do anything
>have 5 glasses which is probably equivalent to 8 shots
>don't get drunk but all of the anxiety and depression disappears
>stop thinking about never having a gf
>feel happy all day afterward
>tfw probably gonna become an alcoholic to avoid all of the feels

It may be nice now but it won't last.

The more you drink the less it'll affect you. If you over drink you might be in for a world of bad feelings! Or if you're a dick to people (assuming you'll be in positions where you drink and hang out with people), you won't have a good time. But if you're a happy drunk who's nice to others, you might be fine and you might be able to live out the alcoholic lifestyle you dream of just fine.

I had hot sake once, it was pretty good.

It is the best drug in moderation. Otherwise it absolutely wrecks your shit. If you drink by yourself on the weekend to relax after work there is nothing wrong with it. What's even better is to go out and meet people while drunk, it makes it super easy and people will talk to you even if you're ugly.
But user please don't become an alcoholic

>get actually drunk for the first time in my life on the same night I lose my virginity
>like 5 shots Jack Daniels, whiskey-dicked all to fuck but don't care, don't feel drunk
>have completely terrible sex as a result
Yeah nah alcohol's overrated.

>it will never be publicly accepted to go around day drinking with a cool flask
>cowboys had it right

Are you literally me three years ago?
You gotta moderate it though, luckily for me I can't afford to drink every night of the week so that helps me regluate myself

>drink
>feel sleepy, thoughts confused. nothing gets better
>drink more
>feel sleepy, thoughts confused. nothing gets better
>drink more
>feel asleep
Alcohol is a meme.

I can't say I like it overall, although I do like an evening scotch or a red wine with food, the effects of booze just aren't very interesting or fun to me, it just makes me feel like I've gotten up from a deep sleep and gotten no rest from it. Now, cannabis on the other hand, that stuff is Krishna's soma, I cannot say enough for the great things that cannabis has done for me as an aid to imagination and contemplation, although it is still a drug and should be treated as such.

Yeah i know, im only 19 so i cant buy it so im not going to be hammered. im probably only going to have it with family.
like i said above im only 19, but i am really worried about when i turn 21. i have the idea in my head that im only going to buy wine and Sake. in the back of my head i know im probably going to go over the edge.

no no NO
it isn't

forgot to mention you. what do you mean, did you do the same thing as me? what are some tips to control myself when i turn 21?

Yes, I had alcohol at a family thing and remember thinking at the time that this was the thing I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
but here you can drink at 18, living with my parents and only getting a job a few months ago has been restrictive too, I guess you just gotta hope circumstances outside of your control limit you

>>tfw probably gonna become an alcoholic to avoid all of the feels
That is usually how addiction develops.

How to become happy drunk? Is it possible?

>alcohol is 21+
weird as fuck desu. I've been drinking hard liquors since I was 16 because noone gives a shit in this eastern euro country. you can even buy it at 15 if you run into a nice vietnamese guy whose only concern is to launder as much drug money as he can with his convenience store. that being said, I've never had any problems with alcoholism. that means you can do it too, because I have an addictive personality and I am into anything that alters your consciousness. The best way to repel yourself from drinking too much in the future, when you're still starting out go overboard and when you're vomiting your guts out, not even able to stand up and walk, and suffering through the terrible hangover the next day, you'll be sure to never do this to yourself again. I have never drank too much/vomited from drinking/had urges to drink since I was 17

Is 2 glasses of wine per night too much?

I honestly just think it's ingrained in your personality. Why, are you a sad or angry drunk or something?

I do meditations while im drinking.
They say that it's easier to learn a second language when you're drinking; my understanding is that it inhibits the filters that prevent you from incorporating new "social knowledge"; knowing this, I get drunk alone and meditate on being less socially anxious, not giving a fuck, being confident, and near the end of my jag, I take a walk and talk with random people. It works.

ill give you some advice as an alcohlic. if you want to go down this path be ready to gove up everyone. you will eventually lose everyone as you embarass yourself from one blackout drunk day to the next. the plus side is you really stop caring about a gf or being a normie. it is the perfect cure at the cost of isolation. gl friendo

I've been drinking since 14 and can confirm it is the best (i'm surface normie/ deep cover autist). However It has helped fuck up my life when I've used it to cover up long term depression/apathy.

ANYWAY, what I came to say is that Sake is rice wine, and 5 glasses of it is definitely not equivalent to 8 shots of liquor

Don't over do it though, as an alcoholic i can tell you it's all going to change as soon as you are feeling a little bit down or angry or whatever the first thing you always have on your mind is to drink until you fall asleep. You have a hard time saving money as everyday you will need to drink otherwise you will feel half dead.
