I do SL 5x5 and in a year i have newbie gained my way up to a 5 plate squat while losing 75 lbs, and am switching to 5/3/1 soon. I'm lifting just fine with a small amount of creatine taken at night, thanks, don't need anabolics.

I am a fat fuck, user, if it weren't obvious enough from the 'lost 75 lbs with a barbell', my calves are freakishly huge. I squat 4 plates for 5 reps and can easily 5 plate 1rm, and I probably will be able to 5 plate for 5 reps here pretty soon. Is 430 lbs not 5 plates?

Either go keto or outright starve yourself. Keto will let you cut without the feeling of hunger, allowing you to follow pretty much arbitrary schedules without relapse. However it might be very slow.
Don't believe the meme tdee shit, though, you have to manually measure tdee and adjust your measurement as you lose weight. It can take a month or two to find your tdee. Starvation means you don't have to care about doing this though.

Tried this and hated it. Doing two meals a day feels much better. Just make one extremely light. I've been doing 2 scrambled eggs and some veggies for breakfast, and normal dinner just lighter portions since my stomach has shrank.

When you are under a certain bf%, it is significantly harder to gain fat. When you are above a certain bf%, it becomes significantly harder to lose it. In the middle you can easily go either way, which is why the middle range is recommended for cutting-bulking cycles in body building.
Moreover, even though lots of inbreds keep brosciencing the opposite, genetics are, in fact, a thing. That and diet composition have a big impact.
