They're right though. The Y chromosome is a LOT more volatile and prone to mutations than the X one. There's a larger variety of random mutations in males, making them more diverse and scattered than women in every way. Women just stick to how they've been for a long long time, because they already have their wombs and their tits and they don't need much else to be valuable. Being a male is simply more competitive, and most males will not end up with fortunate mutations.
