>install New Vegas again
>save Goodsprings from the Powder Gangers
>make it to Primm, rescue deputy
>already bored
What should I do now? I wish I could get invested in games like I could when I was younger. I'm barely an hour into the game and I'm already so bored.
Install New Vegas again

play fallout 3 or get past primm. if you are bored, take a walk through death claw territory
If you're looking for a haedcore game style the mod DUST survival simulator, really made me get back into NV
just go apeshit on the NCR
Maybe I should play Legion this time, I've only ever played for House and NCR.
I feel you. I've recently upgraded and decided to enjoy all the games, that ran poorly - I couldn't.
>play fallout 3
Have you ever done the Yes Man route? Or the Benny route?
T-there's a Benny route? I always killed him in the private suite.
As a female character with the Black Widow perk (or maybe not, I always have it by the time I get there), you can choose not to kill him after sleeping with him. Then you can work with him to take over the strip.
Oh, I'm playing as a male character because female would be immersion-breaking. If you side with the legion, do the NCR MP's or securitrons on the strip attack you on sight? I still want to do all the strip related side quests.
Securitrons act the same way as they do if you take the NCR route, and the NCR acts passively but offers some decent comments if you're wearing Legion gear. If you're worried, just wear NCR armor around them and you won't be attacked. Should be fine though.
Personally I always get bored between Nipton and Novac. Never get there.
Best way to fend off boredom for me is to just run straight to Freeside after Goodsprings. Not like you can't do Primm, Nipton and Novac (and whatever comes after Novac, can't remember I probably haven't played that part of the game since 2011) later on.
COUNRY ROOOOOOOADS
TAKE ME HOME
TO THE PLACE
I BELOOOONG
WEST VIRGINIA
Stars of the midnight ranges
If you're bored you could always do one of the DLCs. They aren't nearly as fun as the DLC of the other games though.
>referencing the second worst Fallout game to date
In a thread about the second best Fallout game no less. Shameful.
>implying I have the money to purchase them
I made the mistake of not buying the complete edition or whatever it's called.
>hasnt played any of the dlcs
you are missing out
ill agree with this user, the fallout 3 dlcs were better than the new vegas dlcs. was anchorage in new vegas or 3? i recall it being a really solid dlc
don't do quests just adventure also use nofap because jerking off to much makes you lose intrest in things nofap makes life exciting
>tfw
>you start a new game everytime you get to midgame because being a low level fuck makes the world feel bigger n shieet
>not playing TTW
Legion runs are best runs, especially if you go full survival and unarmed
Just pirate them you fucking pussy
It's called difficulty/level scaling mods
Operation Anchorage was Fallout 3
It's been scientifically proven that the lower someone's IQ is, the harder it is for them to enjoy rpgs.
Play in a way you haven't like only use fist weapons.
Actually roleplay, NV is actually really good for this.
Or learn speedrun strats and start timing yourself.
second worst?
you think 76 is gonna be worse than fallout shelter and BOS?
I've started a new courrier to go and destroy all factions in god mod
fists and thrown only is a lot of fun
That's bullshit user. After sleeping with Benny (and not killing him), Benny just goes to the fort. There is no Benny route.
Just do some cocaine, it's what I do to escape my own crushing anhedonia
I don't even count those. They aren't "real" Fallout games.
>he can buy cocaine
Don't you have some party you should be attending, normalfag?
Source?
Ah, my mistake. It's after you free him from the fort that the route is done. It was never completed though, but it does mention in the end movie.
This. 76 isn't either.
i recall most every dlc for fallout 3 being pretty good, i cant remember what dlc i really liked alongside anchorage. i recall 2 being really good, one being pretty good, and another being okay (the one where its supposed to be louisiana or something where you take a ferry in the far south of the map on the river just south of the dam or power thing or whatever it was called where you helped the brotherhood of steel)
fawkes is like a brother to me
>playing TTW
Enjoy your broken immersion. How can the lone wanderer and the courier possibly be the same person?
imo this stupid settlements system they put into fallout 4 should be removed from any future game
Mod the fuck out of it
But it's the only thing even remotely interesting about Fallout 4. Everything else has been dumbed down and streamlined.
I second this
lanigiro
Well thats the problem
its fucking retarded how much free shit they hand you in fallout 4. i wanted a legitimate fallout experience, not easy kiddie "get power armor super early" mode and then have some retarded fucking settlements to manage. i shouldnt have to manage that shit, thats why they gave these settlements leaders in the past and they would tell you about their struggle so you could help them and go about your business instead of having to stop and tend to their every need. some random creatures attack town? shame, 3 townspeople i spoke to in the makeshift bar died, actually liked talking to them and could name them. in fallout 4? oh some nobody managed to get into trouble, whatever
you're a synth that's been implanted with memories
As if you cant suspend your disbelief just a bit to enjoy a little extra content. Its not like you dont already have to ignore so many immersion breaking things to begin with.
I haven't played it, but iirc you don't even need power armor training to use it in 4? They just hand it and a minigun to you and you kill a deathclaw in the first hour or two of the game.
>Its not like you dont already have to ignore so many immersion breaking things
Like..?
yeah you just walk up to some random town and they give you power armor from the top of a ship. its got some power limit thing to it but that doesnt negate the fact that you receive such good gear so early on into the game for absolutely no reason
if fallout 4 is any indication of what fallout and elder scrolls is going to be like in the future im worried
Made an unarmed critical stealth build in Fallout 4. It's funny as shit one punching everyone in the ass/dick

Fallout is a series all about player choice. Fallout 4 has almost no player choice.
its not about the scaling of the beasts, its not having any gear and being a nobody, not the courier that killed the president
