Been working on a map of the kingdom my players are currently in for a DND game for my reference and I'm really happy with how it's coming out. Red lines are major roads/trade routes, white lines are noble's estates.

Not too shabby, I've tried my hand at some pixel art recently as well. It's a surprisingly multifaceted art.
Interesting shifting piece. The sound design and progression is sort of meditative.
I don't know if you meant this to have the campy, tongue-in-cheek comedic value it has to me, user, but I really appreciate it.

To anyone experienced with programming/game design/game maker 2 preferred here; how did you guys manage to learn the language? I have some good days but most of the time I feel like I can't retain information as well I'd like to and feel a bit stupid for it. Especially coming off a good day.

I learned to create a spawning system, movement, one directional shooting, and menus the past week but today I was totally stumped trying to do simple keyboard movements which I already did several days ago no problem.

It's Puzzle/RPG in the same style as LISA or Earthbound. The issue is I am new to art and I am mostly trying to get that stuff to work right now. Walking cycles are really hard.

I'm writing a graphic novel (broken up into a ton of little four panel images) with very minimalist black and white art. It's a sci-fi story about a neet in the very near future. Im working on a little short film, about my sneezes changing the night/day cycle, and warping me through specific points in time (think that one Titanfall 2 level). Its about 90% done rn, just need to pick up a few daytime shots and the ending.

If so, keep on keeping on, man. Glad to see you have a script ready and waiting. I've been talking to some friends of mine, hopefully I'll be working with them on some skits in the relatively near future, maybe even a legitimate short film of my own.

I feel like theres a lot more that vaporwave can do than just be slowed down samples. Try keeping the vocals more or less the same as the original song but chop them up a bit and add a bit of reverb, and keep the languid instrumentals in your version.

I was briefly popular and had a song on the radio a few times (whatever thats worth) but the expectation gets you man.
People got hype for my next album and I froze and stopped making music for almost 2 years. I'm not remembered anymore.

Hell yeah! Im excited but also really nervous for that actual script to get underwat, though if this short Im working on right now is any indication Im improving a lot. Still trying to figure out lighting and ISOs and shit but shooting a cohesive narrative with just myself, my camera, lights, and the dog Im dogsitting that has a lot of moving parts is really fun for me.

I hope you get it. Just keep on making music and don't try to change your style unless it feels natural.

No problem! I love Vaporwave but a lot of times I just see a video that says VAPORWAVE VERSION OF [insert popular song] and all it is is the same thing slowed down. If I can have any say in changing that trend I will take it.

Made some more ships: Imperial Japanese Heavy Cruiser Myoukou, both as completed in 1929, and as her final 1945 form, as well as United States Navy Scout Cruiser USS Omaha. Omaha is technically complete, but I feel it still looks kinda empty. Also, I did some minor improvements to my Shiratsuyu illustration. The little airplane in between is suppossed to be a Type 97 Carrier Torpedo Bomber (Nakajima B5N, or "Kate").
